Fight or Flight: Survival [Fight or Flight]

Noah Chengxao

Rebel Hideout Apartment

Noah listened as tensions we're somewhat high. There was a large amount of Metas in the same apartment, and the military is out looking for them. Plus most of the metas don't know each other and are considerably shifty. This worried Noah, perhaps it would be best to leave and join the other meta to this storage area before a.....disagreement broke out.

"That sounds promising," Noah said to the meta. "My name is Noah by the way. How are we going to get food to sustain the metas in the storage building?"

Eris Dimitris

Highrise hideout

Eris sighed watching as two of the teens left the room. She was sorely tempted to take precautionary measures but the boy had spoken of keeping people off of their tail. This one was spot out of many that could be relocated worst came to worst. She turned back to the rest of the group and nodded “The help is greatly appreciated. At the moment most food we do have is donated from meta owned shops. Or family of metas. A good percent of the population is tied to metas in some way it’s only the military’s force that keep anyone from acting.” She glanced over to Beantly as he voiced his concerns and nodded “Don’t worry. I already sent a message to Tex. He should be here soon then we’ll be at one of the off shoot bases.” She muttered before turning to the rest of the group. "The base we’re going to a more of a satellite base near the warehouse district. There will be more food there.” She said before getting a text.

Eris checked her phone and smirked slightly. “That’s our ride.” She looked over to Beantly. “Thanks for letting us crash here. I’ll fill you in on everything later.” She said before motioning for everyone else to follow her. She lead the group out into the hall and down the stairs to the lobby but instead of going out the front door the exited through the back. The woman waved to a few people who were most likely part of this network. Once outside a dark haired older teen was waiting outside next to a chalk outlined circle. The teen, Tex, took a look at the number of people then looked to Eris like she was crazy. “You’re kidding.” “I told you it was a lot… can you still manage?” She replied. Tex looked over the group before nodding with a sigh. “Yeah, just done call on me for the rest of the day really…” “No worries there.” Eris nodded before looking over to everyone else. “This is Tex, He can teleport us so long as we are in this circle.” She informed pointing to a 12ft diameter circle. Enough to fit everyone but it would be a bit of a tight fit.

"Ace"

Ace's lounge - 11th floor of casino

Looking at the circle Ace held up his hand to signal his refusal to accept the teleport. "I'll meet you there, You know how I hate being teleported somewhere, its nauseating." He flicked his wrist and a second joker card came right to his hand. "I am going back to HQ, stuff to do, people to talk to, money to gamble." He tossed the card into the ground as it grew bigger and began to hover. With a smile he jumped on top of it went out of the buildying flying off in the direction of the casino, discreetly of course. He navigated through as many dark alleyways as possible to avoid detection before finally reaching the casino, he loved this place, not to mention it was the home to many of his card decks. As he stepped inside the casino was in shambles, the elevator door was smashed in, front desk was completely ransacked and the floor had various cracked and missing tiles. Due to the state of the elevator the steps were much safer. When he reached the 11th floor he exited and headed out onto the main floor, tables were flipped on their side, slot machines were busted open, the carpet was torn up and the roulette wheels had been ripped from the tables completely as the little metal balls rolled around the floor. The 14th floor and some of the hotel rooms were used by the rebels but many of the other floors still remained as they were when they were originally ransacked for any sort of money or supplies only a few weeks after the quarantine. Ace headed to an employee lounge where he kept various card decks, each of which were in various states of finished, some were missing suits others were missing only a few cards. He had roughly 5 finished decks and 13 incomplete.

Madison Waller

Rebel Hideout Apartment

After she and the other metas had finally gotten out of those gross sewers, Madison was relieved. Now she had somewhere to sleep! And she wouldn't be on the run! God, she was tired... She sat down on the floor, and began to doze off as the leader spoke. It was just so boring... and she was tired... She never had been the athletic type. And even though she had been on the run, it hadn't been for very long, so she still wasn't in particularly good shape. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep, lying on the ground and curling up into a ball, exhausted from the day's exercise.

Zeek Strauss - In-front of magical/meta teleportation circle.

Mental status: Pleasedon'tturnintothefly

Zeek was caught off gaurd when he heard about the means of transport, teleportation. Generally he'd list that as a cool method and means of transit, as a devout watcher of Star Trek, he had watched numerous times Picard tap his badge and call out "energize." However there was a very concerning issue at hand. Those were television episodes and had stable and generally sucess rates. This is real life, and we're dealing with a Meta that was going to be warping them God knows how many miles away. He raised his hand as if asking a question not waiting to be called on. "Umm, this safe? kinda worried about getting my atoms scrambled and reassembled somewhere else...or if it's whole chunks of me...well I'd like to materialize in one piece." Then he noticed the card player fly off on his jack after he said the teleportation made him nauseated. Oh...lovely, what a grand vote of confidence.

Mai Hyuuga

Highrise hideout

Mai turned when she heard someone talking. She put the card in her pocket. Mai followed everyone else out of the apartment and out the back. Once they were outside there was a guy standing next to a white chalked circle. He didn't seem to happy to see them. She introduced him seemed his name was Tex. When she was told he was going to teleport them she was surprised. "Someone can actually do that...then again its no weirder than turning into an bird." she said to herself. "...... the circle huh?" This looks like this is going to be a tight fit......she cant stand being in closed in places. She stood there not wanting to have to deal with it. Then she breathed in and went in the circle waiting for everyone else. "Well here we go."

Mitchel & Sssam

Someone's apartment

Mitchel looked to the group that was going to teleport somewhere, due to Mitchel's lack of attention he had no clue where everyone was going to go. Looking over to Sssam who probably paid more attention than he did Mitchel asked Sssam if they had any idea where they were going to go. Sssam shook his head indicating that he had no clue himself. "Nope!" Sssam looked around the room as he spoke overly enthusiastic. "How about we join in on that magic mumbo jumbo?" Sssam spoke trying to pull Mitchel towards the circle of metas. "Alright but if we die its up to you to pay for the funeral." Sssam laughed as he looked to Mitchel. "That won't happen cuz if you die I'll be a normal snake again and I am NOT going to go back to slithering on the ground and eating crickets! Have you ever ate one? Geez they taste horrible! They taste like stale dirt!" "I fed you live mice, I never fed you crickets." "Exactly!" Mitchel followed the group into the circle and waited for the teleport to some place that hopefully had food since he was getting hungry again.
