Hello!
This seems pretty interesting. Would you be intrigued by a nobleman mage character that travels to Hollow Vale from abroad that is interested in learning from the Cainhursts (for reasons that are his own)?
This sounds interesting! Though, a roleplay like this would need major DM/GM guidance (map creation, city descriptions, workings of various economies, cultures, etc.). Would a character like this function in this fantasy world? I've been looking for a roleplay to implement him into.
I think it would be cool for the Silver Isle to always have existed (as mentioned in your title, it's been a legend) and its danger mostly known, though it never came as a threat because it was across the sea. For it to become far more dangerous to the society of Nomai, I believe it would be...
Seems like it'll be an awesome roleplay! I'm down to join once you have the actual thread up!
I have one question though - you say the roleplay is low fantasy but you continuously refer to firearms and guns. Does this roleplay have elements of modern/futuristic warfare?
Duke Gerald Arlivein will just be pulling in people he knows are skilled throughout Grovaria. So, fame/infamy is the common factor, so true intentions are up to your imagination.
Though, I may also have a few role players involved with the war itself if anyone is up for that!
The quest itself revolves around seeking out legendary items that were thought to be myth in hopes of summoning an immortal being to stem the tides of war. This roleplay is magical. :)
Power is the one element that has been fought over since the dawn of time. Some use power to influence, to control, to manipulate, to dominate. But seldom is power used solely for the purpose to make the world crumble, because when the world falls… power is useless.
Tension has always brewed...
