Fantasy Wings For The Avalon [Participants always welcome!]

>Keep walking and get as far as possible

>Use your flashlight to illuminate your path.

You can hardly see anything, even with your flashlight still on, with the batteries and everything. It was difficult to hold it, with the relatively heavy knapsack you were holding, but it was alright.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/dsfdsfas.jpg.360b0ca5ad4f477da99db6c435221d81.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="123733" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/dsfdsfas.jpg.360b0ca5ad4f477da99db6c435221d81.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

All you can see currently is rock. It should be a few more minutes until you're able to get to the place with people at it. At least, with some people, since most of them are at the New Years festival.

Maybe, if you were able to find a camera during your journey, you'd finally be able to show your face to C.

Actually, no, you still don't think that would be a particularly good idea.

You keep walking. And walking. And walking. Walking on the platform by the side of your former home, and the homes of your kin. It felt kind of wrong to have left like this, without saying goodbye.

It's completely silent. Besides the distant explosions, and the intensive scraping against the rock walls ringing a few feet behind you. You can see some doors and holes within those walls too, but you doubt that you're allowed in them anyways. Beasts could be living in them. Beasts could be anywhere.

Of course, that's all superstition. They really only appear during the night, where it's dark. They dislike light. Especially the light from the sky. Especially direct light pointed at them. But they are sort of curious, sometimes, about people. They're harmless most of the time.

>Look around carefully

You pause, and look around.

You hardly can't see a thing. People's eyes aren't made to work in the darkness after all. People's eyes are made to see color. That is why you can't see a thing.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/fsdfds.jpg.79aad2a44352b9fe1690e8bbbbbf71f3.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="124003" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/fsdfds.jpg.79aad2a44352b9fe1690e8bbbbbf71f3.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

You try to use your flashlight to help you look around, but all you see is rock. The same thing you were able to see before.

Even if you do point it at the sky... Well, why would you? You could already see the stars and the distant fireworks. They're much quieter, this time.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/efdfsdfsd.jpg.730383ab1ad186abafeefa075ab255a0.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="124002" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/efdfsdfsd.jpg.730383ab1ad186abafeefa075ab255a0.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

You can feel something. The scraping is no longer against the walls. It's against the floors. Right near your feet. Behind you. You aren't dragging them. Away from the light.

They don't like light.

You suppose this looking around isn't very careful. I shouldn't have waved the flashlight. Apologizes.

> Open a door, anyway.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/sfdsfa.jpg.702b52c01d3b0a0d186fe19c424285c1.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="124004" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/sfdsfa.jpg.702b52c01d3b0a0d186fe19c424285c1.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

The doors usually are already open.

>Just keep walking away from your former home.

>Keeep moving at a fast pace

>Get out of this creepy place!

You keep walking. And walking. And walking. And running. And running. And running. It's too dark to see anything. Even with your flashlight, all you can see is directly in front of you, and that only holds of tough rock on the ground. Momentarily, when the fireworks hit, you can see a bright flash for mere seconds until darkness engulfs you again. You aren't scared, no, not at all! Why would you be scared, anyways?

This creepy place is the entering path to your home, hanging by the side of a rocky mountain. Your home is within this mountain, hollowed out for your convenience.

You think you're nearing the fork of this path. You're nearing the point where you could finally face the ocean, much more closely than you have in the past few months, or years. You should be soon, seeing how fast you're running, but you aren't exactly sure. Where would you even go, anyways, after leaving here?

You could visit your nearly empty village, rife with potential supplies, or perhaps you could check around a local cliff, or you could try to travel to the blue kingdom itself? Or maybe somewhere more secluded, like the forest, the abandoned mines? Or anything else?

>[Did you have in mind a possible destination?]

You decide to go to the village. Since it's nearby, it was only a few minutes until you arrived.

You end up sneaking in one of the more secluded streets of the town.

It appears a lot has been changed since you visited here, but the layout is still somewhat familiar. The houses are not. While this still seems to be a residential area, there are some stores and shops around here, too. Of course, you may not be able to pay for anything, but it's still good to note. Most of these buildings are empty with people.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/ddfafasdf.jpg.f1aa5de2c00525ce72647a280fda9b63.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="126215" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/ddfafasdf.jpg.f1aa5de2c00525ce72647a280fda9b63.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

The changes from the earlier path include: the lighting is only just a little more brighter this time due to the sparse street lights (there are only two here!), the road, now sidewalk under your feet is now paved, and there are buildings. The beings aren't here anymore, at least. Those beings.

you can speak to nicole almost like a conversation, if you'd like. even if it's not related to the last post, or recent events, you can bring up almost anything. ask her questions for anything you don't understand. she'll listen. she'll answer with the best of her ability.

the style is going to be almost sporadic here, since i found doing my method the earlier way to be exhausting and tiring. uh. hope you don't mind.

You glance backwards. It doesn't appear that they would be following you. Why would they be following you, anyways? It's too bright for beasts, whom are too shy to be seen.

You look around you. Just stores around here. You listen in. Just fireworks. Nothing else. You think. for now.

You agree with that sentiment, but you aren't sure if you could easily go in through all of them within right now. You take a quick peek at some of the stores around you.

You check out Cold N Smooth. Though, you think it's more of a restaurant than anything, it does operate sort of like a store. Or a... bakery? Are you even using those words right? Just a general place where people can pick up their favorite shape and pay. Most of the things they're selling are of plain, polished iron, but there are bits of silver and gold dust. It appears currently completely empty.

There's also the Don't die, Dye!, though it isn't really a store, it's more of a salon or something. It's a place which sells dye, and other hair and wing products. It would be quite shocking a place like this would even be in an official village, but they seem to be only selling different, better and brighter shades of yellow and "gold". It also has nail polish, shampoo, stuff you have no idea of which they are called. It appears currently completely empty.

Help out perspective appears to be a place that sells books. Most of these appear to be cheap self-help books, and guides on various of things. You can also some fiction in there as well, though that's mostly from local authors here. It appears currently completely empty.

Dentistry here is a dentistry place, for making sure teeth are sharp and gold. Not really a store either. All you can see is the waiting room and the receptionist desk. You notice the tables have piles of magazines on it. It seems to be empty, but places like these typically have much more rooms. For dentist stuff.

And, you aren't sure if it's completely empty due to the lights on it, so you didn't even get near it, but the How Clothes? seems to be, well, selling clothes. The large dolls are wingless, for ease of use, and cute. You don't know much else about that particular store.

Now, which one would you want to go into?
