Mel hugged her mother tightly before getting into the chariot she had ready for her. It was the day she was leaving to the temple. Mel had to be truthful, she was as nervous as nervous gets. She didn't know what to expect and she didn't know how many would come after her to kill her. She closed her eyes once she was seated in the small space, taking calming breathes. "I'm ready," she told her mother and closed the curtains. All that was left was the people her mother had found to come together.

Miyuki had been in her room, a room that the queen let her stay in until the day they were leaving. It was a cold room with only a bed inside of it, but the witch didn't mind she actually liked the cold. She heard the guards coming before they were near her room and walked out of the room, ready to go. She followed them outside to the chariot that had princess Mel inside. She was told that the princess would not show her face for a reason Miyuki couldn't understand.
English people don't make sense to me, she thought but could see the inside of the chariot as the wind went by. Is it because they think she's too beautiful to be seen? Miyuki sighed and walked to the side of the chariot, on the other side of where the princess stood. She planned to have that spot as her sort of post to protect the princess.

Xavier stood at a balcony in his grandfather's castle. He looked back at his dad as he asked, "Did you find anyone to help us?" His dad nodded and told him to go downstairs to the ballroom. Xavier nodded and walked down to the beautiful and huge room he was told to go. He looked around at the creatures on their side. "Well, welcome one and all," he announced loud and clear. "Why don't we get to know each other? There's a feast in the room this way," he gestured to the right, "or you can stay in here to mingle. We have a little while before the princess is getting close, until then enjoy." Xavier watched closing to see how they reacted, snapping to cue some soft, almost eerie, music to start playing.

All supernatural beings are in danger of becoming extinct because of the soon-to-be queen, Princess Mel. To become queen she has to go to an old temple and rid the world of creatures of the supernatural; vampires, werewolves, fairies, witches, elves, etc. But this temple is nowhere close.

A group of humans, and any supernatural beings who has been able to make a deal with the princess, has been gathered to escort the princess to the temple safely. There's also another group full of mostly supernaturals who are trying to kill, or at least stop, Princess Mel. Will you help her or not?

--

They live in a more mountain like area with lots of forest and grassland mixed together, and the temple is practically all the way around the world in a tundra continent.

Ragnar sat in a big, grand hall. Gold, marble and everything in between layered the room, the furniture, everything! Ragnar sat in a chair, shifting restlessly, he had never spent a moment of his life in someplace so grand. This place almost made him leave as soon as he came through the doors, the luxurious palace reminded him of the wealth that humans had. Ragnar took another look at the other four "monsters" that had come to partake in this journey.

A young and small looking girl, smelled like a vampire, Ragnar sniffed the air in disdain, never was fond of them but he had met a few great ones.

An older man with wild hair, dressed in a long coat. Ragnar frowned in confusion, he smelled like a werewolf and a vampire.

A girl, looked to be in her early twenties. Smelled like sheep. Ragnar's thoughts turned to hunger but stifled them and looked away.

Then their so-called boss walked in. Vampire royalty. Long blond hair, dressed in fancy clothing. Looked like a teenager.

"There's a feast in the room this way, or you can stay in here to mingle." He said.

Without hesitation Ragnar got up and walked towards the room with the food. The feast would get his mind off of his thoughts. Soft music started playing, Ragnar quickened his pace. He was definitely leaving the room.

Eliza stood in the hall, head turning, amazed at how it looked. Not seeing anything like this before she had to remind herself that that wasn't the reason she was here to keep herself from wandering off. Eyes still fixated on the building's interior as her head turned she tore her gaze away as her nose twitched a bit, catching scents.

She turned her head, glancing at the others. "So we'll be working to kill that princess." This wan an interesting group to her but she didn't care who she had to work with to stop the princess.

Hearing their host's voice she turned looking towards him. Her ears perked up at the sound of the music. It was a tune she haden't heard before but that wasn't unusual. Glancing over as Ragnar left she decided to stay in the room, looking for someone to talk to.

Samuel would marvel over the sight of the ballroom. Though he had expected to see an example of true wealth when he had seen the exterior of the castle, he was not at all prepared for what was inside. "Amazing..." he whispers to himself.

His looks would be less than appealing, and he'd feel very awkward being in a place like this. He quickly glances around the room, hoping the other guests are at least similar to him.

A taller man with black hair going down to his chin. A young, pretty woman- Wait, what are those... horns. Did I have horns? I don't think I've had horns. Why does she have horns?

She helps him feel less out of place here, though not by much.

He doesn't respond after her sentence.

Then, Xavier enters. The prince of vampires.

He follows the man's gesture, while pocketing his hands in the front of his coat. He walks on to the room to heed to the new calls of his stomach.

"I wonder what food vampire royalty eats." he thinks out loud.

Reirruc was sitting in a field not to far off from the castle where Mel was. He didn't know the girl or the quest to end all of them, but he sat there anyways. Just enjoying the cool air, and sitting on a small hill overlooking the swaying grass. "When people don't screw things up it's great to be alive" He thought to himself.

He felt those pangs of lonliness again, so he pulled out his necklace and held it to the light, and he felt better. "Brother, I fight for you even today!" He let the air go through his hair.

Reirruc felt lazy for sitting there, but something told him to stay, and so he did.

Cassandra followed Xavier into the other room, a feast sounded pleasant. She walked around her heels clicking on the floor. But the thought of mingling excited her. She loved to flirt, though she did kind of suck at it.(No pun intended) When she tried to talk to guys she would accidentally try and slit there throats or bite them, but it was too tempting. All she could think about was the warm pumping pulse in mostly everyone.... but that wasn't the point. The point was meeting people, become close friends, then making sure they weren't all killed.

Oliver waited on the castle's courtyard wall. He had been training for weeks for this moment, to become the Princess Mel's "Knight". Oh how he couldn't wait to protect her. He started fiddling around with his pure silver sword. It took month's to craft and many more months to pay it off. In his knap sack he had a stake and holy water(a weeks trip to get). It was in his blood to put his best foot forward and to serve his princess, though she did not know of anyone this loyal yet.

Once all of Mel's protection was gathered and at the carriages side, the queen waved them off. 'The sooner the better,' the queen thought. Mel didn't like being in the big carriage all by herself and didn't care to stay hidden inside of it, so as soon as she knew they were away from the castle she pulled back the curtain closest to her to look outside.

Miyuki didn't move her head but could see Mel pull back the curtain. "Are you sure you should do that, Princess?" she asked in almost a bored tone. Mel seemed to ignore her though. Miyuki didn't exactly care, if the princess was stopped or even killed what would she have to worry about?

Xavior watched from where he stood as most people went into the next room. He stayed in the large ballroom since there was no point for him to enter the other room, if he wanted blood he could just call a servant to bring him some. His mother hated when he did such things but his father and grandfather insisted. Xavior sighed and looked out one of the tall windows that surround the ballroom from floor to ceiling. 'Scarlet would enjoy this...' he thought annoyed and shook his head.

Ragnar stepped into the dining hall, which was once again, adorned in gold, silver, marble, etc. the table was long that almost spanned the entire room, on top were silver platters of various food, immediately Ragnar made his way to the meats. Disregarding any kind of code, he grabbed the meats one at a time, with his hands, not bothering with plates. Normally he would have been a bit more...human, but he's denied the wolf inside him for too long.

Every time the wolf was denied, the temptations grew stronger, and as far as he knew, he didn't think the vampire would try and stop him since he needed all the help he could get.

Cass looked through the table of meat. None was still raw, still bleeding to be exact. She sighed, hoping to run into a servant or something. He is a king he must have personal slaves to fetch me some raw meat, it isn't to hard. But then the thought hit her. They were practically his slaves, but free thinking slaves. She loved the idea.

Oliver looked at the carriage. When he saw Princess Mel poke her head out the carriage he thought he would swoon. She was embodiment of beauty. But he must remain, in the line of duty. His father had taught him how to stay "professional." He stopped looking at her and stared down at his shield, looking at his face. He had no pigment of red in his face which was a relief.

Samuel steps over to the table, stopping on the spot when Ragnar comes and seams to tear into the food. He watches him for a few minutes, then looks down to what's there. He grabs a couple of carrots, lettuce leafs, and baked potato slices and stuffs them in his pockets. He munches on one of them as he leaves the room, and would walk straight for Xavior if he may. He pushes what's left back into a pocket, and performs a low bow. "Prince Xavior? I am Samuel. I am here to answer the request your father made."

The man's scent would only faintly have vampire and werewolf scents. However, it is dominantly human.

Mel noticed Oliver out of the corner of her eye and looked at him as his eye cast down. She wondered if she just imagined it and looked up ahead of the trail.

Xavior looked at Samuel curiously, sniffing the air. He didn't understand his smell at all. "Thank you," he said. "May I ask what you are?"

Samuel rises and resumes his slouched posture.

"Thank you," he said. "May I ask what you are?"
He opens his mouth to speak, with no sound besides that of his words being cut before they start. He thinks for a moment, and resumes "I am English, Prince Xavior." In silence he would quickly continue. If he was somehow amused, he would still do so but not as awkwardly.

"I'm whatever you want to believe I am. That's probably best, because I don't know the answer. I know I am not human though. Not really."

Oliver kept on marching, he could not be distracted, they had yet to get to the dangers ahead but you could never have your guard down. It was weird, he felt so strong about serving royalty but indeed he did not exactly like the idea of killing another life. But they were not another life they were evil every single one, none of them had a right to roam the land, not a single one even the decent ones who seemed to be helping Princess Mel out. He kept on marching in a strait line but his thoughts engulfed his mind, he was a thinker.

Cass entered the room where King Xavier was. She waited for their conversation to be over. She just had to ask for something to eat, but didn't know how to exactly. She was a kiss up at most times, always wanting to be the favorite. It never worked in her family but it worked to her advantage when it came to special treatment at times. She waited in silence-thinking though loud and clear- because interrupting royalty was a big no-no as her family would put it.It kept on making her feel awkward though, just standing there, hands on hips just staring into oblivion. She would speak when the.....who was he? She could usually tell the creature but him it was nearly impossible and after thinking so hard she just gave up.

Xavior smirked and nodded at Samuel. "Fair enough, and well we're happy to have you. I'm just going to call you one hell of a hybrid...."

Miyuki was expanding her "sight" with the wind and wondered if they'd be alright until they leave Mel's kingdom. She tried to expand far enough to see the entrance into their kingdom, but thankfully it still seemed far enough away.

Mel didn't think they'd be attacked on the first day of travel at all, so she just starred at the scenery imagining what it will be like when they finally get to the temple.

"Fair enough, and well we're happy to have you. I'm just going to call you one hell of a hybrid...."
"Erm, I'd prefer Samuel, sir. I can't do what a Werewolf ,or Vampire, or whatever else I have can do."

He drums his bare toes on the ballroom floor as he pockets his hands again, wiggling the food out of the way as he does so.

"Or at least, not most of it."

Samuel taps his chin while keeping his eyes on the prince. After a minute, he puts his hand forward, the palm to the ceiling and clenched in a fist. A red liquid starts to seep through the cracks in between his fingers. The scent of blood soon follows. He turns his hand so the palm is to the floor, and he uncurls his fingers to show a still-beating human heart. Blood comes out if the broken veins in gushes, which soon becomes a pool.

Samuel would let the sight sink in for three minutes, remaining silent.

"Illusions."

He uses his leg to move the bottom of his coat over the heart and the pool. When the spot is revealed again, there would be nothing there.

Xavior smirked as the heart and pool of blood disappeared. "I see why my dad invited you, or whatever he did." Xavior just let his dad go and do whatever he wants. Seeing the heart just made him thirsty though and Xavior snapped and a servant was instantly at his side with a glass of dark red liquid. "Sorry your illusion made me thirsty," Xavier apologized to Samuel, sipping the blood.

Samuel smiles and waves his hand in a 'don't worry' gesture. "I thought that it might. Perhaps the scent was too much. Anyways, I can do far more than simply create an object. That's very simple to do. A difficulty comes in when you want to, say, warp your surroundings. The art, however, is using strategies of manipulation, and disorientation. I have more than a few stories on it actually."

"Then welcome aboard," Xavior said with a smile on his face and patted Samuel shoulder. "I'd love to hear some of those stories when we're on the road though."

Cass went back to the dinning room and sat down. She might as well find something to eat even if it was....... a fruit or worst actually cooked meat. She rolled her eyes and decided to wait longer to eat and scout people out. She had seen the "Samuel" do his work and just thinking of it made her mouth water. She could see varied sizes and different creatures. It was going to be a fun ride, she thought, but extremely weird for we are fighting for our lives.

Glancing around Eliza watched as most of the group left to eat. Turning towards the dining hall she decided to follow the rest of the group. It wasn't long before various smells filled her nose as she entered. It wasn't long before she headed towards the meat section to see Ragnar munching on some meats. Turning her head she watched as Cass left.

Glancing at the table she noticed the plates and grabbed one before turning towards the meats. Seeing him eating the meats she didn't blame him as plates weren't something she was use to. "Hungry?" She asked putting a few meats on her plate. She didn't bother to use anything but her hands to eat them.
