a street away from Insa High is a recently renovated building with the words Studio 91 on the sign. the studio is owned by the school and is known to be a private place the school has set aside for students they have deemed the most talented within their specialization. the building has two floors with the first having several private rooms residents can use as their own studio and the second their housing. All residents are third years.

although it might not be obvious or bad it still is there. while they pretend to get along within general classes once lunch has ended everyone goes to their own specialized classes. naturally, students become closer to those within their own focused subjects and form groups. with the merit-based system, the school uses in order to split the budget for each department the people of the fine arts and performing departments generally do not get along.

it's the start of the new school year for insa high in 2017 and the new freshman class has finally gathered within Seoul for their new lives starting now. we hope your three years here will be an unforgettable, inspirational experience to pursue your talents and dreams. although there may be ups and downs, some of you may find a different goal, not all of you will still be here in 2020 we hope the time spent here would not be for nothing.

"to the me in three years"

as a school tradition, along with the school application students are required to submit a letter to themselves. there is no specific subject, the contents don't matter, and is not even checked by anyone. as long as it can be put inside a regular envelope anything is fine, it can be empty for all they care. just in three years the school will give back the envelopes.
