Background/History: Leah grew up in a family that was more functional than most. Her parents remain together, and she's an only child. Her mother is an artist and her father is a lecturer at a college, teaching English Literature, and she had always been taught to simply be herself and go where ever life took her. Life had taken her in directions she wouldn't expect. She would be beginning college soon, and she was still very much in love with her boyfriend. He was the most unlikely part of her life. They had been forced to work together for an assignment early in high school, and had become friends but told no one of their friendship... until it turned into more. They've been together for two years now.


Personality: Leah is somewhat insecure - and refuses to be seen without her make up on. She is passionate about expression, art and will defend the rights of animals to the point where she storms away angrily. Her stubbornness in those matters carries over to her relationships, and she's fiercely loyal to those she loves.

Background/History: Andrew lives with his mother and little sister, and has been more like a father to his sister than a brother. His father left when his sister was born, and Andrew swore that he would be more of a man than his father was. He works hard in school so that he can get into a good college and study medicine, and didn't really have many friends in school. Leah is his cousin, and that's how he ended up roped into the road trip.


Personality: Andrew is focussed and serious a lot of the time. It takes a lot for him to let loose and have fun. He takes time to get to know someone, and has never managed to get to know a girl well enough to date them because of his own defenses.

Natalie wasn't always the girl you know her as today, no. She was once looked down on because of what her father had done to her mother and older sister -- lets just say, Natalie wasn't exacrly a child made from love. No, her mother and older sister was kidnapped by the man Natalie was forced to call "father." He abused both her mother and sister, both mentally and physically. It had gotten to the point where the two were ready to give up... That is, until her mother learned she was pregnant. Somehow, both the women had gotten lose and ran to the police. They took Nat's father into Custody, and he is still serving a life sentence.

Natilie had learned form an early age that she wasn't wanted in her home, though she didn't understand why until she was fourteen and wondered across an artical with both her mother and sister's name plastered all over it. That and the only image she'd ever seen of her father. Her real father, that is.

She tried to talk to her mother about it, to reason with her, but it was of no use. She didn't want to respond or even listen.

Around the same time, she started to blossom into a young, beautiful woman and that caught the attention of quite a few people -- she, however, did try and be nice to everyone at first, including people who didn't deserve it... Until her home life got even worse. She's changed from the sweet, loving girl she used to be. She wants so badly to go back to that, to being loved... Not to be noticed because she's a mean girl.

Personality:

Natalie is labeled as a mean girl because she pushes people away, and snaps at them whenever they decide to bring up her past. It's not something that she does by choice, it just happens. Deep down, that sweet, innocent little girl is still there; hidden under the massive walls she's built up to cover her personality.

Connor was always the athletic type. Form kindergarten, to 10th grade he played multiple sports. Some at school, others with friends and such. He just enjoyed the thrill of it-- that is, until he became the quarterback of his highschool varsity football team.

He'd been through his fair amout of girls, and he knew his parents hated it. Never once did they see him with the same woman more than once. Honestly, he knew it was time for a change. That, my friends, is when he met Leah. She was the first person he was actually able to connect to in such a long time, it practically blew his mind. She is probably the only person he wants to spend his life with.

Personality:

Typical jock with a cocky attitude. Is that really such a surprise? He's a big teddy bear at heart, but is more than a little protective over the people and the things he loves. If anyone so much as lays a finger on his loved ones, he's more than likely going to be either really pissed or knock them flat on their face.
