Though, she is quick to cut her losses as soon as it looks like things are going south, and definitely isn't above playing dirty to get what she wants.
  
  Bio: Does not like to talk about her past. Claims she was born on the third layer, Ashen Grave, though she says she has no memory of the place.

  Personality: Artemis is serious and efficient when it comes to work or achieving a goal, she usually makes herself look more intense than she actually is. Normally she is friendly, helpful and kind to anyone unless, in her eyes, they don't deserve it. She gets easily flushed when complimented and doesn't know how to hide it. She generally works on her own, which she's more used to than with others; she will cooperate if she has to though.
  
  
  Bio: Artemis was found by a small group of divers from Layer 0 in Wonderland unconscious with no one around or searching for her. They took her back to Earth and left her at the hands of a lady who had an orphanage and in curiosity of the world underground she became a diver herself.
  
  
• [ Skill ] Blinking Flash: Arty can move/attack much faster making it harder to be seen. The aura around her becomes visibly purple, covering her movements.

  Personality: Ghur is a rather blunt and honest man, with an inability to pick up any form of sarcasm or metaphor. While he can come off as rude sometimes, Ghur is actually quite sociable and prefers to stay within big groups, though he dislikes the confining spaces of large cities and metropolises, thus he rarely travels to the earth, though he does sometimes to "collect" interesting things.
  
  Bio: Ghur is part of a nomadic society that exists within the 1st layer. They travelled frequently and often across the mountains and wide open plains, and most of their supplies were either harvested from the land, or brought in from outside by traders and Divers. However a plague began to ravage his people, one that had been thought to have been brought in from the lower layers. In order to discover the source of the plague, and perhaps a cure, Ghur decided to take the risk of diving deeper down to find this cure.

  [Skill] Runic Binding: Carves or paints runes into objects, then spends time, energy and magic to infuse the runes with magic for various effects.
  [Magic] Rune Torture: Activate runes tattooed onto his body to increase reflexes, and enhance senses, specifically that of touch and sight. Doing so greatly drains stamina and causes a lingering sensation of pain as it's used.
  [ Skill ] Nomadic Lifestyle: A lifetime of living on the move has taught Ghur many tricks and secrets on how to live off the land.

  Personality: A happy go-lucky, surprisingly intelligent girl. She's introverted but very friendly, with quite a bit of charm on her. She tends to be narrow-minded, though, and prefers it when things go her way. When she's focused, she ignores anything outside of whatever she's focused on, may it be a slightly different blade of grass, or a full-scale project. To make up for this, she's very decisive and doesn't tend to overthink decisions.
  
  Bio: One of the only real people born and raised in the Ex Machina layer, she grew a knack for tinkering and solving puzzles. She spent the majority of her life in the second layer, and, having figured out all she could about it by herself, she decided to become a diver in order to explore the other layers to figure out as many of their mysteries as she could. Having recently finished exploring layer 0, she was preparing to go down and explore the other layers, too, before being contacted by the people that want the package delivered.

  Personality: Maruyo, she's kind of a bimbo, or is herbo the more accurate term? Either way, cheery, airheaded, and a bit stupid. She's real extroverted, she's got that social adeptness going for her to compensate for her. 'brain moments', as she might say, or lack thereof. C'est la vie, she says. She doesn't know what 'C'est la vie' means, but no one needs to know that. It's clear that she's not the brightest bulb, but she's also not the most self preserving business major either, whether those facts are connected or not is unknown.
  
  Bio: Born and raised on Layer Numero Cero, Maruyo spent her whole life in an orphanage up until she was 16, and she's been living alone since. Unfortunately, living is expensive! Education is expensive! And working herself to death in some diner or some fast food place isn't going to even come close to providing her the funds she needs. So, go figure she gets into diving. She'd been diving for half a year when she got the delivery job, but inexperience isn't about to get in the way of her getting paid!
  
• [ Skill ] Jock Gf: Besides Home Economics that one time, the only class Maruyo really passed was P.E.. She's very strong physically. This teenaged girl can smash bricks!
  
  [ Skill ] Built Different: On top of smashing bricks, she could take one to the head like nothing! I'm exaggerating a bit, but she really is tougher than most folks.
  
• [Gear] Coup de Foudre: A comically Layer 1-esque battle axe she got as a reward for a job. It looks silly when she holds it, but a big weapon is a big weapon.

  Personality: Having died and been revived time and time again by the effects of Traveller’s Pocket Watch has led to Arthur developing two distinct personalities that communicate with each other. A kind, sociable and charismatic persona that he’s had from birth and a psychopathic, unforgiving persona obsessed with fighting anyone and anything that he got through experiencing death multiple times.
  
  When in his sociable persona he strongly prefers being around people but he has gotten reluctant to form groups in fear of hurting those he travels with because he has extreme difficulty holding back his psychopathic personality at times, especially during fights.
  
  Bio: Son of a rich and influential family from earth, disowned when his psychopathic persona caused a bloodbath on layer 1. Nowadays he travels the layers in search of a way to get rid of his second personality when in his sociable persona and in search of strong opponents to fight when in his psychopathic personality. His tendency to argue with his other persona out loud along with the rumours going around leads to people often being apprehensive of him.
  
• [ Magic ] Flame Creation: Arthur can create flames and has basic control over them, he can use some basic flame spells but has no sophisticated control over the shape of the flames.
  
  [ Skill ] I am in control: When Arthur’s psychopathic personality takes over his flame magic becomes several times stronger and his control over the shape of the flames increases significantly to the point where he can make complicated object like weapon out of fire.
  
• [ Gear ] Silver sword: A standard well-crafted silver sword with no special functions
  
  [ Gear ] Traveller’s Pocket Watch: A pocket watch with the ability to reverse its user’s time. It stores 1 minute of time every 24 hours. It automatically actives upon the user’s death to bring them back but it needs at least 2 minutes of stored time to bring them fully back to life. When used to heal wounds or come back from the dead the user experiences the pain of the inflicted wound or killing blow again.
  
  [ Bag ] Phone: A standard smartphone, using social media is a way for Arthur to be in contact with people without risking his other personality hurting them.

  Personality: Cress is someone who lives a life dictated by his desires. He is willful, stubborn and prone to doing his own thing. The chance of rewards often outweighs any potential danger in his mind. He is fiercely protective of anything he owns, finds or cares about. Although it is difficult to befriend Cress, as he does not trust easily. Once one bonds with him. They will find a friend who will last a lifetime.
  
  Bio: CR-355 was an artificial human grown in a vat by a team of scientists from the 3rd Layer. Materials collected from each of the layers were combined with the clones to see if they could create artificially strong divers. Cress and a few of his siblings were the only survivors after a raid by killer androids. Growing up alongside his surrogate family in the post-apocalyptic landscape they all called home. Cress was able to survive thanks to the Dragon Heart implanted inside of him. It gave him the strength to protect himself from monsters, machines and other scavengers. Eventually he became a Diver in order to make a living.

  [ Magic ] Dragon Core: A technique which allows Cress to push his draconic heart to pump greater amounts of magical energy to his body. This temporarily triples his strength, speed, durability and agility to allow him to perform greater feats. However the instability of such a state can cause him to go berserk if pushed past his limit.
  [ Skill ] Observation: A breathing technique which enhances Cress's five senses to allow him greater observational skill

  [ Gear ] Rakiri: Obtained from a headless swordsmith on the first layer. This sword was supposedly once used to split a bolt of lightning.

  Personality: Ayluin is a kind and old soul. Having lived through countless ages travelling through the second layer known only as Wonderland, he has heard much about the worlds and is a man of great wisdom suited to his years. Having been born blind, Ayluin has learned to trust others. Although he is still fiercely independent which only grows as his hair grows whiter and his beard longer. A tranquil being, Ayluin tends to shy away from conflict and often tries to creatively solve the problems of his day to day life.
  
  Bio:
  Ayluin is what in many cultures in the first layer call a Seer. Seers are not clairvoyant beings as they are often mistaken as, rather a living video feed to the upper layers of this world bound to the Demon of Manipulation Vaasek unbeknownst to them of course. The Eyes of Vaasek, an interlayer organization of nomadic scholars make up the bulk of Seers. Seers are created in two ways, a ritual when a Seer is taken at birth and the tears of another Seer are dropped in the child's eyes or through the despair of lost sight in older individuals who lost their sight after having seen the wonders of the world. This ritual bestows the powers of Vaasek such as sight and a prolonged longevity and the ability to call forth dark tendrils known as The Arms of Vaasek that can only be seen upon physical contact with the living. There are said to be more abilities granted by the bond between the Demon and its hosts, but little is known on the subject except by the eldest of Seers. The sight of a Seer is different than that of regular beings, hallucinations, floaters and distortions are common place for Seers. Seers can only see when their eyes are covered, be it a cloth blindfold or a mask. Most Seers pose as beggars or soothsayers to earn a living once they are let loose from the Monastery of Vaasek. The headquarters and college of this organization.
  Ayluin was brought to the Eyes of Vaasek at a young age and had gone through their trials and tribulations unscathed, since his ritual he has been known to partake in many adventures, chronicling the legends of heroes for many a year and had been sought out by many for his advice and consolation.
  
• [ Demonic Possession ] Sight of Vaasek: Ayluin is a Seer. A living breathing crystal ball for a distant unknown entity known only as Vaasek. Through this connection, Ayluin has been granted the illusion of sight. Although as distorted as it may be, the sight allows Ayluin to see twenty feet in any direction, beyond that it's as if he were blind all over again. Although, if Ayluin's blindfold were to come off, he would not be able to see at all. If Ayluin gets treatment on his eyes or replaces them entirely, his connection to Vaasek will be severed, and he'd return to being a feeble old man.
  [Demonic Magic] Arms of Vaasek: Ayluin can summon Dark Tendrils from the ground known as the Arms of Vaasek. These tendrils immobilize foes with considerable strength although they do not do any real damage and are invisible to others unless they've been touched by the tendrils of another Seer or are touching the tendrils themselves. In some cases, ensnared individuals have known to have visual hallucinations that last for days, but this is rare. Ayluin can ensnare two individuals at once, but this takes considerable concentration on his part as oppose to a single ensnarement.
  
• [ Gear ] Grubby Blindfold: Ayluin's blindfold allows him to see. You can always find it plastered unto his wrinkled visage, however he does take it off to bathe and to sleep.
  [Gear] Walking Stick: Ayluin's trusted walking stick has been with him through countless journeys and travels. It is a long top heavy gnarled piece of oak that can be used to prop his geriatric body or to fend off the occasional ruffian.
  [ Bag ] Tea leaves, Kettle and Cups: As Ayluin gets older, he finds comfort in the little things. Thus, he always has a tea set with him. He never knows who he'd be able to share a cup with on the road. Besides, as he gets older, he finds that he is somehow cold all the time.

  Personality: While he may look very intimidating to downright terrifying in the eyes, he is actually a kind and jolly good fellow with the sort of a father complex to those younger than he is. However, he can really show how terrifying he can be when one angers him, usually by things that are deemed as "scum". He loves to crack jokes and goof around. He is also kind of a pervert around women due to not having a woman in his life. He will take every opportunity to peek at them and prays that he won't get himself in trouble for it.
  
  Bio: Leonardo was one of the very first generation of Divers in his time, back when Layer 0 discovered the other layers. Among those of that generation, he is considered to be the weakest due to not having any specialization, yet he is only good at filling up roles others should be. It is one of the reasons why he became a well-respected Diver, he is good at everything but not the best in any. After about many years in the service, Leonardo peacefully retires and years down the line, he passes away at a ripe old age surrounded by his loved ones. Normally that would be the end of his story, but the world itself has other plans for him.
  
  In one of his adventures, he was engraved a rune which is said to mark him as the "guardian of the world". Turns out that the rune activated by its own which in turn brings Leonardo back to life, much to his disappointment since he must contend with being a walking skeleton on top of adapting to the new world since his passing. Regardless of these circumstances, Leonardo must find a way to go back to rest and this mission revolving around delivering a package might give him a link on to how.
  
• 
  [ Skill ] Living Skeleton: With not a single strand of flesh hanging, this gives Leo the benefit of moving insanely fast to the point that he can cross an entire ocean without fatigue. The only downside is that he is now fragile due to time, but he can make up some good resistance by taking milk baths. After all, calcium is very important to the bones. Another downside is that because of his undead status, he is very weak to anything that is holy.
  
  [ Magic ] Spirit Form: He can separate his soul from his skeleton body and then possess another body or an object. That leaves his skeleton body as an empty shell until he goes back to it.
  
  [ Magic ] Regeneration: His soul is not linked to his body, but rather it is linked to the world itself. There is a reason why he is called "The Immortal", no matter how much punishment he can get, his body (or any body that he is possessing) will regenerate so long as the punishment does not involve anything that is holy, which he cannot recover from.

  [ Gear ] Ol' Reliable: An old-fashioned musket that still functions till this day. Despite how outdated it is and with no special function, it can be more than made up with the experiences of the user.
  
  [ Gear ] Hardedge: A sword that doesn't rust due to being bathe in a magical liquid. It is completely indestructible, the edge and point will never dull after many cuts.
  
  [ Bag ] Fermented Health Potions: Small flasks of healing water that went unused in time. However, the liquid became fermented to the point that it can help regenerate lost limbs, just be ready for how extreme sour the taste is.

  Personality:
  A lad with a few words, some might say. Prefers to express through actions and gestures whenever. Generally polite and trustworthy, sometimes purely honest if he were to speak in his soft-spoken voice. Other than his non-vocal attitude he is hardworking and obedient, doing work without question and hardly backing down from a job even it's something deemed impossible for someone like him. Seems like a good candidate for the task of delivering a mysterious cargo.
  
  Bio:
  Born and raised from the farmlands of Layer 2, the half-Dark Elf was raised with a human father and a Dark Elf mother, who have to tend fields of wheat most of their time together. Lived a quiet life helping around the farm at a young age. Although despite his industriousness, the boy's interest and passion have a soft spot for the mystic arts, training his own little magic left given from his parent's bloodline. A dream his parents also have given approval and support despite the costly tuition and its rather long semesters, enrolling him early to a school of mages, far from their home. He was after all had shown determination and qualities that the academy would take interest into train him.
  
  Unfortunately, he can only experience the blessings of being a student of the mystic arts for only a year. What was thought to just be another small storm trying to lay waste to the Flavius's fields the storm was not alone, the storm's winds grew more powerful with each passing square foot of planted wheat it rips from the ground. Two days later an earthquake powerful enough to shake buildings to rubble has rumbled the very soil of the years of crops have grown on. The couple and their son were spared from the violence of nature as they evacuate from their home. Only to be left with their field and small home destroyed beyond recognition. Aurym, despite his canceled education. Would like to help in his own way. Looking for the perfect occupation was not easy for him but eventually, after countless searching, he found himself as a diver along with others of various ages.

  [ Magic ] Mana Electro: Aurym has the ability to produce electricity from his body, tasing, knocking away, or paralyzing all those who came into physical skin contact with him. The electric sparks coming off from his body are colored ruby red. Although this magical ability is not passive, he can activate so as he wishes to instantly. Using this power continuously for over an hour or so could cause fatigue or even temporal paralysis from prolonged usage. He cannot shoot any form of lightning-based attacks directly out of his body, making it underwhelming to those who expect a powerful attack from Aurym.
  
  [ Ability ] Dark vision: Being a half-dark-Elf, he is gifted with the ability to see in the dark well without the assistance of torches, lamps, or flashlights.
  
  [ Skill ] Natural Cook: A talent he received from his father, Aurym's cooking skills is quite impressive and versatile that even with limited ingredients he still manages to make even the blandest food edible.

  [ Gear ] Thundercry Staff: A long metallic copper-colored staff, it's one of Aurym's identifiable belongings. Mostly because the tip has a lantern design similar to the surface world's gothic street lamp design. the lantern attachment illuminates a similar brightness compared to its inspired staff design, with just a click of a thumb from the mid-central part of the staff. In Aurym's hands, however, the staff's hidden potential shines bright with Aurym holding the staff. The staff becomes a weapon of thunderous power by amplifying Aurym's rather weak powers to be powerful enough to burn through a thin concrete wall. Able cast magical quick bolts of lightning towards a target by doing certain motions.
  
  [ Bag ] Old Schoolbag: A brown leather bag that has seen better days. Although still functions to its design. One main pocket inventory with two large pouches on it's left and right. The bag looks rather empty perfectly fine for storing extra items. For now, only the main pocket has the following items which two big white handkerchiefs, a 500ml water bottle, Old leather-bound notebook and No. 2 pencil (Unsharpened), and an old blue bar phone from yesteryears, which can only take calls and texts.
