It used to be just you and me


Playing games around the tree


We hit it off, became fast friends


But soon it would come to an end


You seemed lonely, so I tried to help out


But try as I may, you scream and shout


With foul words that made me cry


But what can I do? I thought you were just shy


It used to be just you and me


It seems a lie, how could it be?


You never were a friend to me


So why can't I just remain free?


You always remain in my mind


But why? It's obviously a waste of time


I got so many more things to do


Than constantly remember you


I saw you again after so long


But we didn't talk, it still felt wrong


I was never even mad at you


Just disappointed, and betrayed, too

Hear me out, it's not for the worst


Maybe we could be friends once more


Maybe not, fighting is such a chore
