Two years after a deadly virus swept the earth turning a third of humanity into either crazed human monsters or flesh hungry walking corpses; a cure was found. Now that a year and a half has passed since the cure destroyed the virus, the aftermath of the virus however is punching holes in the society that humanity is trying to rebuild.
Death Syndrome (DS) is a virus that was created to cure cancer by enhancing the faulty cells and by copying other cells, but instead takes over brain cells to change all cells within the body into DS cells whilst killing the host off. This is only after the host goes after other people to spread the growth of this virus. There are two different types of hosts; ones with weaker immune systems who die and walk the earth as feral corpses and the other type of infected are the ones known as specials. The virus enhances the host whilst keeping them alive but the host ends up losing control of their body and must devour flesh in order to keep their special abilities. Their enhancement can range from hardened skin, acting like armour to their limbs, and tearing and reforming harder to be used as weapons.
After the cure became airborne all the normal infected hosts had nothing to keep them alive and they collapsed into an endless sleep. The special infected regained their senses as human beings and although the virus doesn't control them they still keep the abilities they have gain from it provided they eat the flesh of or humans. The specials now known as the "Infe" are trying to become part of society however they are made to live in slums on the edges of functioning cities due to people not being able to accept them because of fear and pain of losing loved ones.
Now the Infected are tying to get equal rights within this world. Many fight against humanity as terrorists and others are trying to blend in with society.
The types of special infected:
The Infe can be put into five different classes:
The Beater: These Infe use their limbs as weapons to beat. It can be used to slash and crash, the time of weapon depends on the Infe like some have a blade or a heavy blunt arm to smash things with.
The Wall: Walls have hardened skin, muscles, and bones to tank damage and hit hard but they are slow due their own weight.
The Shifter: The Shifter have amazing leg muscles, making them very fast and good at jumping, they can also project spikes from their lower back.
The Morpher: They morph things like armour and tentacles from their lower backs to cover their bodies and attack enemies.
Whites: There are only three whites and two believed be dead, Whites are a mix of the shifter, The Morph, and The Wall. Being able to take hits, move fast, do unreal amounts of damage and a slight Morph ability. Their blood was the cure to the Death Syndrome only problem for them is they have to eat a subject with no trace of their blood to obtain their full potential, so in other words they are just stronger and faster humans now.
notes about the Infe: they all experience the same dream the first time they sleep after the infection it is of the last moment the white who cured the world, they see him kill another white and then fire a spore from a machine on his arm that contained his blood before he then collapsed and is presumably died.(his picture is below)
All Infe have dark red hair as a side effect of the virus but many dye the hair to hide their condition.
Infe have quicker and better recovery than humans being able to regrown limbs within a couple days.
You were a human caught up in Infe liberation terror attack and they have all of you hostage, all of you have bitten by then and you will die here or change the world to a world you see fit.
