It all started with a with the first war of their kind. A petty squabble over something that couldn't be taken into the afterlife. Not much can be remembered of the actual fighting, but the actions of the Original are legendary to those who can discover it.
Her lover was the sentinel of the battle, slaying those around him relentlessly. He was vigilant to all those who opposed him. His rule would have been grand and prosperous. But, greed is poisonous. While returning from the list battle, the Lover's most trusted friend slit his throat on the sands of their homeland. She wept while watching her other half fall to the ground, dead.

On that day, the massive army to hell with her.
And all that remained was an heir and his sister.
