Dragons and witches have allied against humanity and only a small group can save the people.
Long ago, the witches were imprisoned and the dragons banished. Stories were made, untrue ones at that, about the bitter evil of the beings until they broke free and, in their anger, decided they would be what people wanted them to be. Evil. They found and allied with the dragons and now, their rage can wait no more.
The Golden Eagle Academy is a small group of Warriors and Trainees seeking to gain battle skills to fight off their enemies. Far too often they've engaged in battles, yet the most powerful, the decider, the Final Battle, has yet to take place. They work alongside a "CoFighter" who is their permanent partner or partners, depending on student numbers.
Now the threat level is higher, rising above anything recorded before. There's a high chance that not everyone will make it out alive. Those who do? They'll be regarded as heroes for their participation in the war.
This is a story based on a book series I wrote not long ago, and the characters are based off another roleplay a year or two ago. I'm sorry if this doesn't sound exciting enough. Get enough people and I know it will be, there are simply no words to explain the thrill of Legend.

Personality: Satchi is fun-loving and very curious, a bit hotheaded and energetic, she's VERY emotionally driven and will resort to aggression if her friends are threatened. She's not afraid to fight and is more prone to taking action than some. She tries to be honest but it doesn't always work. She has a strong spiritual connection to the ghosts of most who may pass. Satchi loves her friends and family more than anything in the world and takes pride in being a Warrior. She's very actively against the witches in particular, despite her secret that yet even she does not know.
History: When she was a young child, her parents were killed by witches while trying to protect her. Her older sister raised her for a year before mysteriously vanishing. Occupying her time, Satchi took an impossible challenge and climbed Dragon Mountain, from which nobody had ever returned, and so met her (very impressed) new best friend and CoFighter, James. As a student at the academy, she now has a life.
Crush/Lover: In the original it was Derek "Dark" Alister, but she's flexible

Appearance: Satchi is a slender young woman standing around 5'7, with pale skin, waist length straight black hair, sky blue eyes and delicate, yet defined facial features. She often wears either the school uniform (dark blue knee-length skirt, white shirt with buttoned up dark blue jacket overtop) or her light blue skirt just past the knees, white button-up shirt with greenish-teal sleeves and white runners.

He has a bit of an attitude and is VERY protective over his CoFighter, Satchi Hironami. He's easily given to aggression and has a special hatred for those who abuse others. He really likes hot chocolate too.
History: Only Satchi and his family know. Like Satchi, his parents were killed by witches and his siblings abandoned the unconscious James. His sister went off to become a witch Trainee and nobody knew what happened to Leon until he also showed up at the academy. James found Satchi shortly after being abandoned and bonded with her, showing a bit of stubbornness in wanting to be her friend.
Crush/Lover: in the original, Kana Norwell, but flexible

He's pretty honest and doesn't beat around the bush, gets straight to the point. He's loyal to his friends and very protective of loved ones. He's also a bit impatient and can be easily irritated. He's trusting of classmates and allies and has a special hatred for the witches who took his father from him. He loves his twin sister, annoying, violent and stupid (you shall see...) as she is.
History: His mother died birthing Night, and Queen Zandra, sensing they would be strong enough to oppose her later, sent an archer after the twins to hunt them down. They just barely escaped, changed their names to Dark and Night and started training at the academy. It seemed that if they'd not been hunted down, they wouldn't've even considered the academy. So things worked out like they were meant to.
Crush/Lover: In the original, Satchi Hironami and Eva Bird. Flexible though.

Personality: Night is the almost exact opposite of her twin brother. She's brash and rude and surprisingly stupid, often forgetting words in the middle of a sentence. She's energetic to an unbelievable degree and has few friends, but will protect the ones she does have. She hates Satchi beyond belief and isn't a James fan either. The only people she started out truly liking were Dark, her brother, and Nina, her best friend. She thinks she has no feelings and she DEFINITELY has no regard for the feelings of others, but is one of the strongest, most determined Warriors. She thinks she and Dark are the best and rise above everybody else.
History: Same as Dark's
Crush/Lover: Initially Nina and prefers girls, but is open to anything
Weapon of Choice: Scythe, but can fuse her scythe with Dark's sword which she uses against really powerful enemies, though it leaves her drained.
CoFighter: Dark Alister (because of the fused weapon and being twins)

Appearance: Night stands around 6 feet tall, has shoulder length, choppy blonde hair and almost black eyes, which are usually narrowed. She has a fair tan and is even more muscular than her brother from spending all her free time training, yet is slender. She hates the school uniform, so most often wears black shorts for freedom of movement, though black tights in the winter, and a light green long-sleeved top and combat boots.

He's always honest and doesn't like to hide things, no matter how bad they are. He most often serves as both a mediocre fighter and as a great emotional support.
History: Parents were killed by witches and he abandoned his unconscious brother, unsure what to do. After that and feeling the guilt, never again did he abandon a loved one. He ended up in the GEA and is happy where he is, though harbours hatred for his twin sister.

She wants to do the right thing, but more often than not, she doesn't know how. She gives in to emotions easily and has a strong spiritual connection with those who have passed.
History: Little is known of her history except that at some point, she was blackmailed into betrayal and then began work as a spy for the witches, gathering information from the academy, even though she didn't want to.
Crush/Lover: Unknown. Likely Akihiro Eckhart, but she's vague
