The Born Again Novice
The future brings promise, and with promise comes prosperity. Humanity has reached a new chapter in it's race for perfection, it's race for a perfect life. They have become so close, so very close it's right in front of them. Other species of life have been discovered, matching the humans in great intelligence and elegance. The first contact with otherworldly beings started with a maintenance check on a un-armed mobile satellite. It gave a signal to the human's radio base, explaining that an alien (as in unknown.) vessel had entered it's radius.
How could it possibly be that? Humanity had not yet reached that area of the galaxy, and long ago had given up on meeting other life. A maintenance ship was dispatched which would later be known as the famous embassy ship. It met with the satellite expecting a meteor to have hit it, but found a rogue ship docked. It was much more than I am giving credit to, this ship happened to be the vanguard vessel of a entire military fleet. Luckily, the crew wasn't obliterated outright, and the beings in charge, while grotesque to the humans, were a peaceful and kind race. This meeting was the beginning of the strongest Alliance in human history.
The beings called Gyojin(By the Japanese.) shared with humans their own knowledge about the galaxy, marking good spots to mine material, breaking the language barrier with their own technology, showing planets with fertile, habitual lands, and even helping humans meet other life across the galaxy. This was the start of the first Age of Glory, where humans prospered more than ever before. Within 200 years time they had over 18 fully populated planets spread across the system.
The first planets the humans owned, the main 8 planets, are the foundation of the human race. Each of these 8 planets had a specific purpose to benefit the human race as a whole. They have been named by society as "The Greek Gears."
Each planet was named after a Greek god, the "Capital planet" of humanity being named Zeus.
Zeus-Capital Planet, All races.
Ares-Military Planet, Mainly Chinese.
Hades-Detention Planet(Jail for the universe.), Mainly Russians.
Athena-Knowledge Planet, Mainly Japanese.
Demeter-Crops Planet, Mainly British.
Thanatos-Planet of the dead, or where people are buried, Mainly Hispanic in heritage.
Hephaestus-Production Planet, Mainly Germans.
Apollo-Research and medicine, Mainly Indian.
(Keep in mind, the 8 human races here are not the only human races left, they are just the races that reached the most power.)
