It has been over 50 years since Princess Selene Blackburn, also known as 'Cinder', succeeded with her revolution, and was crowned the true queen of Luna. Sadly, her attempt at terminating the monarchy government, and turning it into a republic, with and elected leader, failed. Since then, a new princess has been born. However, Selene has passed, and the young princess has abandoned her people, running from her throne. The people of Luna have no ruler as of late, and the economy is falling. Rules are being overlooked, and the outer sectors are suffering, their pleas unanswered.
In the capital, Artemisia, the luxuries the residents have enjoyed are completely destroyed. There are no more nobles; only Lunars trying desperately to keep it together. The once flourishing Lunar citizens are now struggling to survive, and violence is breaking out. The food is fought for. The buildings in the capital burn, and the palace is in disarray, the officials too busy searching for the missing princess to help the people.
The struggle could continue on forever... But maybe, just maybe, it could be changed.
Little did the people know that the princess hides in the outer sectors of Lunar, her identity hidden. Will she ever return to her people, or will the pawns, along with the chessboard, crumble to pieces?
