Iotan was once a peacful country. The only country in the world that had a stable government. This was 3000 years ago. Now, after King Lionel II dies on the throne, some believe it's a conspiracy, others believe it was an assassination. Nobody knows what actually happened, but what they do know is that this has spawned the greatest civil war this country has ever seen.
Between the East and the West side of the country. The East side is more into manufacturing goods, and into industrializing it's frontier. The more rich people live here, and this side has the greater technology. They have the better weapons and armor, but have lived a very quiet life, most people have never fought before. The West side is the more populous area of the country. It's very good at producing goods, and has a lot of agriculture. Sadly, however, not that of technology at this side. This side doesn't have the best weapons and armor, but the people are more war- like, and are more battle trained. Or should I say, not as many manufactured goods.
Both sides believe the other side killed their beloved king. Who do you believe?

There have been many casualties during this bloody war. You can trust nobody, so keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
