Multiple Settings The Birth of Civilization

After the Borduchian Kingdom formed on the continent, it quickly began harvesting the land, forming a few small villages and a bigger village in the middle of it, Toulouse, which was named the Kingdom's capital and the home of their King. A grand castle began construction for the King to live in and a few loyal soldiers in the new Borduchian Army were chosen to go through rigorous survival and combat training in the mountains on the border of the country. A science academy was formed and began doing research on Gunpowder and how it could possibly be changed for weapons, as the Army mainly was armed with the low fire-power Arquebus. The Army quickly began expansion, training 2 new divisions and hiring a General. A new type of transport was being prototyped, a type of floating watercraft to explore new lands that are farther away, a few engineers were building blueprints for a watercraft that could possibly hold soldiers and a cannon without sinking to the bottom of the ocean. It was extremely experimental, but the Engineers kept on trying, hoping it could eventually work.

Boats made by the Borduchian Kingdom had made their way to parts of Northern Africa, Corsica, and Sardegna. A few troops marched ashore and declared the little piece of North Africa their own, forming a new militaristic Colony under the name of "African Borduia". Even though it did not only live in Africa, it was largely African and quickly was being harvested for riches, a large cave full of metal was found and it made a few of the first inhabitants rich, and they were more of the controllers of the government of the nation, the Borduchian Empire only popping in for resources and money. It was a simple but opened up the Borduchian Empire to fortune not known to them yet. Borduchian Engineers were still finding ways to try and mount a cannon on a ship, and there were a few promising ones, it would be have to be tested later in the day.

After a few hours worth of tweaking and making sure everything on the boat was good, a few Borduchian Sailors climbed aboard and began paddling across the ocean, coming across their target: an empty canoe. The paddlers turned the boat to face the empty one and the gunner fired the cannon, the canoe went back a bit but the cannonball tore right through the empty canoe, snapping it in half. It was a success! Now the Borduchian Kingdom was the first nation with a true "Warship", they named it the "Navire Canon". Thus, a few docks and even more factories were made along their coastline, where they would begin producing more of the Navire Canon and try improving it

As the week went by, a prominent Arms Manufacturer started testing out a new type of musket, the Flintlock, the first version was a long-barreled Marksman Musket. A few soldiers began the testing by firing at straw targets, most shots landed in the middle, proving the great accuracy of it, the lethality was also proven because most straw targets were destroyed after a few shots. It was proven that the musket was worthy for the Borduchian Army, so the manufacturer went to the Burduchian Chief of the Army and showed him notes taken from the tests and the musket itself. The Chief of the Army gave the green light for the mass-production of the musket and approval for it to be the new rifle of the Army
