Usually, Pokemon that were captured or bred by a trainer stay with that trainer. In an ideal world, this would never change.
However, we do not live in a perfect world.
Trainers die. Trainers release their Pokemon, for one reason or another. And in the worst of cases, trainers abuse their Pokemon so horribly that the Pokemon runs away. Different Pokemon have different stories, but living in the wild after spending so much time with a trainer can be hard to adjust to.
Some Pokemon are able to blend in fairly well and adjust to their life in the wild. Some aren't of species that are typically found in the wild, so they stick out like a sore thumb. Sometimes, these misfits stay together. When several Pokemon meet each other in Fortree City in Hoenn, they decide to stay together.
Some of these Pokemon may come from different towns, or even regions. Some may have been on the run for a while, while some are newly adjusting to it. Some will stick together closely, while others of them may deviate from the group somewhat to do their own thing. Either way, anything can happen when you're on the run.
Please note: The RP will probably start after a few signups. Once the RP begins, you're allowed to join in at whatever the current location is, which will be noted at the top.
