Suicide Poem

I had no hope


No light would reach my eyes


No beauty could penetrate my soul


This was before


Before your smile shone


Before your kindness reached me


You gave me hope


You were my light


You were the only beauty my soul held dear


But you did what I had feared


You left me with nothing


Only a broken heart


So to help the pain


I stopped the tears


And I started to cut


One day I didn't stop


The cuts got deeper


The blood shed quicker


Till finally I went to bed


I never woke up


for I had no hope


When the sun shined again


And my mom came in


She found her daughter dead
