Digital Stuff I've Done

I asked myself, what's a best way to make myself at home here other than moving my roleplay? Oh! I know, make an art thread to showcase the crap I've done whether it's from the previous forum or boredom in general.


Now, I really wouldn't call it art, because it's just a lot of signatures and banner making. And things I've done for myself. Anywho…here we go.

By no means am I advertising, I'm just showcasing what I did. I will gladly take these down without a problem though. They were done for a banner contests which I won several times (I really don't know how that happened ._.).

Then there was a postcard contest for the site in which we had to design a card for the staff to hand out at anime conventions and the like.

Yes, I did the lettering from scratch. I never want to do that again. @_@

I think you placing as the banner contest winner multiple times says something about how well you're doing. Were these from a long time ago? Or are these recent? It'd be kinda awesome to see what you're doing nowadays.

Thank you! These are pretty old (but still fairly new. 2011-2012), eventually I grew tired of winning all the time so I stepped out of the contests. I did have one banner I was designing for their most recent one, but I drew a blank and the banner was not finished on time.


It was inspired by Skyrim/Dragon Age. I really love the type, but *shrug* it will forever be unfinished. I really like all these images, We don't mind if they show the name/url of the site you came from, it's understandable that you entered these for contests.


Do you have photoshop? I can't exactly gauge your skills from these even though they look great(Because what we need is something else).


Users have been asking how they can help us and we could use some graphic designers to make banners for RPs following our psd template. Would you be interested?

@ Wizard: I use Photoshop CS4, but this Thursday, CS6 should be arriving soon. I AM SO EXCITED FOR AN UPGRADE. OH MY GOD! *ahem* I totally don't mind helping out at all! Only thing is I can't give a full 100% as I will be attending graduate school quite soon. I did a lot of RP banners on the other site, so I have plenty experience.


To be honest, I started working on a banner for my roleplay. xD I just took one of the banners from here, made a grid template, and followed that so far. My only thing is I don't know what typefaces you use for the info and the site. It looks like Helvetica but I could be totally wrong. Lol

It's what the members wanted. If it were up to me I would make them somewhat smaller. The forum sig maximum size there was 500x200, so uh…there are some sigs even bigger than that. xD


Ah well, the client gets what they want!
