Fandom Star Wars: New Horizon Initiative

For characters, I'd prefer no Jedi in this as at this time in canon, there are basically no Jedi. I might consider lifting this rule, but not at this time. We'll see how the RP goes without them.

We will need members of both Factions: The Rebel Alliance and The Empire. Feel free to create smugglers, Rebel soldiers, pilots, Imperial Storm Troopers, and Bounty Hunters.


Those who are going to play Smugglers or Mercenaries: While your characters are freelance and will go where the job takes you, feel free to commit yourself to a side if you wish. It's your choice really, but remember: If your character betrays one side or the other, you will probably be stuck on one side anyway. I recommend directly affiliating your character with a faction. However, it's your choice


For now, I'm limited the number of characters per person to two (2). I feel that this is a pretty good number as I don't want the RP to become flooded with tons of posts by the same person RPing with themselves or whatever

Name: Carmine Ordo


Race: Mandalorian.


Gender: Male.


Class: Mercenary/Bounty Hunter


Affiliation: None, but he agrees more with Alliance views than Imperial.


Bio: (Since this is pretty much appearance, I'll do two things. First is a picture of him in his armor.)

(And because I can't find an accurate picture to describe what he looks like without it, I'll just describe it.)


Carmine is around 6'1, and weighs roughly 189 pounds. He has a rather well built body and olive skin. His face is heart shaped with a strong jaw. His eyes are a dark brown, and has a very light black kind of hair, which is kept short and groomed well. His weapons consist of the small blaster you see in his picture, a variety of grenades and mines, and a large vibrosword that he keeps on his back at all times. It was made with a Cortosis weave, which makes it incredibly tough, strong enough to stand up to lightsabers. (That is a real thing, too. Not making that up.)


He's a rather distant person. Not necessarily cold, but just prefers solitude over a large group. He's rather serious about everything he does, and would probably be the last person to get a joke, but he is extremely determined and driven to complete whatever he sets out, and never leaves a job half done.


History: Carmine is a descendant from the Mandalorian clan Ordo, which was a rather unknown clan compared to others more notable, like the Fetts. He grew up without family, as slaves stole him away just after birth. He remembers nothing of his family or any relations, and grew up as a slave. But as a slave, while the life was hard and grueling, he met a variety of other people who taught him lots of skills. With their aid, he became adept in dueling, shooting, tracking, making explosives, flying (though he doesn't like it), and sneaking. With the knowledge he obtained from his imprisoned friends, he made his escape from slavery by killing all the slavers and allowing himself and his friends go free. He was nearly twenty one by that time, and once he was a free man, he didn't know what to do. He couldn't go back to his family since he didn't know where they were, and he didn't know what else to do besides kill. So he decided to become a Mercenary and a Bounty Hunter, making credits the only way he knows how.
