• Personality
  
  Daevan is normally quiet, and prefers to keep to himself. He reads alot, in part because he loves it, and also because its easier to ignore others with a barrier between them. If someone does manage to convince him to open up, he is friendly, somewhat of a prankster and flirt, and is loyal and protective of those he cares about. Daevan likes to read, with a preference for romance novels( and the occasional smut fiction, though he'd never admit it). He also likes ice cream. He has a disdain for beings who would hurt others, and generally won't stand for violence against innocents.
  
  
  
• History
  
  Daevan awoke in the material world some months ago, with no idea why. After seeing the good and bad that existed there (Sweets and Books being the good, evil demons and monsters being the bad), Daevan decided he would attempt to bring peace to the chaotic realm. Which is somewhat parallel to his job description, as nether spirits are often affiliated with the forces of chaos, themselves.

  Daevan wears a ring enchanted with a seal that acts as a limited for his power.
  
  
  
• Skills
  
  *Darkness/Shadow Control: Devan can generate and control shadows and darkness in any way he sees fit, from forming constructs, to attacks fueled by dark energy, and even teleportation through shadows. He can manipulate natural darkness and shadows, or create them from his natural form, although this second option is more draining.
  
  
  *Amortality: Daevan's status as a Nether being grants him the ability to never die. However, unlike an immortal, this is because he was never alive to begin with.
  
  
  *Supernatural Condition: Daevan is strong enough to lift automobiles and punch through steel, agile enough to leap over small buildings and dodge supersonic attacks, and able to survive bullets, grenades and low-to-medium explosives with a strong healing ability. He can also see extremely well, capable of seeing in the dark without difficulty.
  
  
  *Shapeshifting
  
  
  *Nether/Nether Magic manipulation: Daevan can create, shape and manipulate Nether, the "Chthonian Element" that flows through the realms of the living, and the Dead. Nether is most known as the substance that makes up the Underworld, a subterranean dimension where all souls go when they pass on. This power grants Deavan muliple other abilities, including:
  
  
  • Dark Energy manipulation
    
  • Oblivion Magic: Magic that draws powers from voids and abysses, such as black holes. This Magic acts as a parallel to Astral Magic, an aspect of Aether Magic.
    
    
  • Oblivion-The spell this art of magic is named after. After an initial chant, Daevan is able to place a rune on his chosen target for a total of 30 seconds. If he is able to(through physical contact) the rune exudes a large amount of dark energy, which proceeds to lock the target away in a void, lacking all aspects of their senses within the space. To those in the outside world, this space may appear as a cube or sphere of darknes, while the victims feel as if they are floating in an endless sea of shadows.
    Energy output in this space is turned to dark energy, which only acts to maintain the prison longer(So attempting to escape only makes it more difficult to do so). Maintaining the spell past a few minutes weakens Daevan greatly, if his victim doesn't struggle, so he tends to only keep it up for no more than 5 minutes at a time. Otherwise, the prison will remain until he and the target stop providing energy to it, at which point it dissipates.
    Something worth noting is that Daevan can sense everything within the space,including those previously hidden in the outside world.
    
  
  
  
  Weaknesses
  
  *Light weakens the effectiveness of his shadow abilities, causing many of his constructs to become brittle.
  
  
  *Using shadows from his body drains Daevan much faster than when he manipulates naturally occurring shadows.
  
  
  *While being unable to die by most normal means, Daevan experiences pain and fatigue like any normal being, and being worn out enough will force him to return to the ethereal plane to regenerate. Also Aether and Ethereal magic are capable of killing him.
  
  
  *Daevan's Nether abilities can be canceled out or countered by Ethereal energy.
  
  
  *Daevan's shape-shifting extends only to human forms. He cannot mimic an individual he has not seen before.

Okay. I think he's decent but I might suggest removing the nether seal altogether and ask that he not have the power to destroy the physical world, since it doesn't have much of a bearing if it's sealed anyway, you know? And I categorized Astral magic -- magic draw. From the sun and stars -- as a subcategory of Aether/ethereal magic. However, this being said, I'd love for you to put a bit more emphasis on and expand upon the oblivion magic, which I can imagine would be a good nether parallel to astral magic.


I also would like you to nerf a stat or two — being super strong, fast, and durable all at once is a bit much, I think.

Okay, he looks pretty good now as long as you remember to make him wear out. He is on the strong side, compared the other characters, but remember to make him fatigued from his powers and you're good
