This roleplay is loosely based off of the television show Glee. There won't be any breaking into lyrics, but a song scene can be described shortly. It is mainly about struggling teens in a competitive theatre arts club trying to pursue the careers their hearts have always dreamed of but the adults knock down - some of these teens don't even know what they want to do after high school. Personality

Grayson is a very sensitive person. He is usually silent and awkward around other people. He is never just flat out cruel to strangers, but he does has a tendency to be quite rude. He believes everyone will hurt him if he lets them get too close to him. Once he opens up, however, Gray is very childish and cheerful. His true colors show when he forgets about the darkness of the world. Along with his closed-off behavior, Grayson is very artistic with drawing, singing, and costume designs. He keeps all his interests and opinions secret to most students.




Back Story:

Grayson was born into a broken world with an unknown name. His mother was assumed to be some type of addict whom did whatever she could to make money. At the age of four, Grayson was sold by his mother into an illegal sex trade industry. However, after three or four long months, he was rescued with a few dozen other children when a section of the "business" was discovered by authorities. The boy was nursed back to health, though he never fully recovered mentally. He was adopted and legally named at age five and a half by a tall, goofy man and a woman who smelt of sugar and honey. After that rough past, Gray's childhood was pretty"normal" and joyful. His parents are decently wealthy, providing him with everything he has ever needed or desired.


In seventh grade, Grayson discovered his attraction to boys was much greater than his family-taught attraction to girls. He wanted to hold hands and hug guys like heterosexual couples did at his school. However, his mind was overwhelmed when he got alone with his crush, and he took too big of a risk. After his attempted kiss, the other boy claimed he was sexually assaulted.


Gray got pressed with a restraining order, had to go to court, and had to do community service. After that school year, people were so cruel. Grayson has never talked about everything he went through, but his parents knew it was better to leave town and start over. He used to self-harm by cutting small openings on his arms and taking pain killers at random. This has slowed recently. Luckily, his parents accepted his sexual orientation and allowed him to be home-schooled and privately tutored for three years. Now Gray is back at this high school, hoping to never repeat his past.

Gray is a new kid, and it's obvious. Even though he is a junior in high school, everything in his new surroundings are confusing to him. Others either ignore him completely or know him only by his "pansy" attire.

Gray has no idea what he wants to do after high school. His parents want him to continue his education and go into the medical field, but the thought of having other people depending on him scares Grayson to death.

Grayson smiles extremely easily, but he tries to hide it. He is left-handed. Gray was passed HIV by his biological mother when he was born. He has severe social anxiety and mild depression. He takes five different medications, but the school still has to keep check on his health. If he is not active, eating healthy, or mentally stable, Gray's risk of AIDs increases.

Blake is a cool guy, always ready to chill or make time for any of his friends. He tends to like his body a little too much, but it doesn't take away from his good qualities. Once he's in your life, there is no going back. He is known for falling in love before actually getting to know the guy...which ends up bad on his part. He also has an odd penchant for cherry flavored jolly ranchers in vanilla ice cream.

Backstory:


Blake lives with his grandma, who always told him that love can conquer all. Being that he was left there by his parents, who decided to up and run off into the sunset, Blake has been looking for that sort of love ever since. Many a time, he has been hurt by people who'd rather date him for status of his "rockin' bod". That doesn't stop the boy though. His one true love is out there...


Blake transferred after being outed in front of the his entire class. Being that he was enrolled in a Catholic Prep--and also student body president-- his expulsion was swift and final. Public school may not have been his first choice, but it feels like home compared to the snootiness of his previous learning institution.

Alexis is the hyper girl who seems to love everyone. Unless they've hurt her or her friends that is.

Her confidence can be up in the roof, or it can be far far down below the basement, especially if people tell her bad stuff, such as that she's a horrible singer. She's a girl who tends to take a chance on everything first, and if it doesn't work the first time, she might try it another time as long as it was fun.

Back Story

​

Alexis was born as the result of a drunk accident, forcing her parents to stay together as neither one was capable of raising the child alone. As this happened, she was raised in a family with a lot of arguments, and lack of agreements. This caused for the girl to pretty much get to do everything she wanted from a young age. Unlike what happens to many after that, Alexis became a happy girl, who enjoyed doing everything.

This continued until she was 8 years old, when her aunt took over custody for the young girl, after she had been observed walking along the high way, and hanging behind at school. It wasn't that she was dumb either. She just didn't get the same help at home as others did.

So from the age of 8, her aunt became her new mother, and her biological parents split, her father disapearing from her life.

So it continued until the girl reached her teenage years, where of course everyone would start to push each other down. As one of the kids with a lot of luggage, she was the unfortunate victim of the bullies. They would push her down emotionally, and try to ruin her mood, but she kept on fighting to stay happy and fun.

This did have a negative effect on her life later though, as now even just the slightest negative remark can make her mood be horrible for the rest of the day.

He tends to wear dresses and short shorts a lot.

Personality


He's shy at first, reserved and quiet, the kind of person that kind of blends into the background of things and doesn't really get noticed so it gives him the upper hand when needing to find out certain things for people if they want his help. Once he gets to know a person he's warm and caring if your first meeting with him is a good one, if not (or if he's in a bad mood) he tends to come off as harsh, vicious even, and cold, but he can't exactly help it given it's in his nature along with his myriad of "problems". He tends to become attached to people pretty easily but can just as easily become detached from them and basically anyone around him. If you were to classify him by his personality he'd fall under the category "chaotic neutral" most likely, very rarely "chaotic good". (He's basically unstable as a squirrel on crack and can switch his mood at a moment's notice, not clinically bipolar just...fast paced with his moods.)





Back Story


His mother died giving birth to him and he grew up with his father who was an extremely religious man who believed that Memios was a devil spawn and that it was Memios's fault that his mother died. He was forced to stay with his father, who beat him under the excuse of trying to keep the devil within at bay, until he got emancipated just last year.


He's currently living with his godfather/caretaker that his mother chose for him before she died and it's been pretty good so far besides his caretaker having to deal with general teenage problems and a few more thanks to the hell Memios's father put him through.

He tends to lose his temper easily and if he gets mad it takes a while for him to cool off. If he gets into a fight he will literally attempt to beat the other person to death unless pulled off.

He wears a realistic wolf fursuit tail slipped onto and clipped securely to his belt with every outfit (including dresses, he finds ways to make it work) and a black leather collar with blue lamb skin lining, a set of rather realistic looking wolf fangs, sometimes he'll wear matching ears if he isn't wearing a dress.


He has severe depression, social anxiety, minor schizophernia, PSTD, ADHD, and self harms.


He tends to act more like a wolf than a person sometimes, being a form of therian/otherkin. Sometimes it seems to help him cope with the world around him which both terrifies and enrages him with the destruction and travesties mankind has caused.


He spends his free time in the local park, the massive forest behind his caretaker's house, and anywhere where he can be close to nature.


He can imitate the sound of wolves, dogs, and foxes to near perfection but sometimes the sounds just slip out when he's experiencing extreme emotions (yipping when happy or excited, snarling and growling when angry, barking when alarmed, yelping and whining when hurt, whimpering when sad).
