Rather than giving every named NPC their own thread, the ones who are just a paragraph or two mentions will go here until and unless they become more important.
The Acolytes: Father Zantus at the Sandpoint Cathedral has a dozen acolytes under him tending the temple. Of the ones the party has met, from oldest to youngest, then...
Moloch, early 30's: One time apprentice to an evil wizard, after the wizard died to one of his own experiments, Moloch found out what the wizard had been doing - and what Moloch had been helping to do, without knowing - and joined the church to atone. Survived the original chapel fire, saving Balthazar for the second time in the process.
Gil, 17: Son of a noble who fled the life of the nobility and took up the cloth instead. Rather shy around beautiful women, but otherwise his headstrong noble nature shows. Intelligent and learned.
Balthazar, 12: The youngest acolyte - having been taken in by the church at age 6 and having decided to join it by age 7 - Balthazar was a member of a troupe of traveling performers before a monster attacked their caravan. Moloch drove off the monster, but the only survivor was young Balthazar, so Moloch pulled him from the wreckage and carried on to the next town, which happened to be Sandpoint.
The Orphans: Between the Butcher and the Fire, a lot of adults have died in Sandpoint in the last five years, and several of them left behind children. Some were taken in by relatives, and more by the school, but the church has been struggling to care for the rest. Hopefully the new cathedral's completion will give them the space and the funds to care for these children until someone finds room in home and heart to adopt them.
Bradley, 5, and Nickie, 11, adopted: Other than Nickie's smart mouth and both their tendencies toward adventure - and therefore trouble - not much is known about these two brats a minor Deverin cousin adopted.
