It was one of those cases, where time just seemed to drag on without any resolution to conflict, just new problems. In a set amount of time, this plane was destined to fall into disaster and be annihilated, and Lokiero could not find any connection to the catastrophe and current events --not yet anyway. He skulked all around the world, from city to city scouring for a sign of things to come. He investigated wars, experiments, technology, myths, legends, and even local newspapers.


All of it amounted to nothing, and on top of it all he had to play maintenance. This job was given to him due to the rare dual nature of its potential catastrophe: if the world didn't end in one way, it was due to end in war. That one he could deal with by making strikes where he could against the balance of power. So the constant years of fighting and the lack of results on his investigations had made him wary.


He just wanted to save this damn place and retire. Faellen, war, planes, destruction; he didn't want to deal with any of it anymore. He wanted to settle down, get a dog and a cat, have a family and do nothing.

Similar to Lokiero, Tara has always wondered what it would be like to live on one of the planes she and the other GUARDIANs worked so hard to protect though this desire didn't overpower her want to test the boundaries. For as long as she could remember she was a strict rule-enforcer, keeping herself from becoming one of the Faellen, slaving away like Lokiero.


Soon it would be Lokiero's last jump and perhaps she could fill his huge shoes and be one of the most dedicated and remembered GUARDIANs. There was nothing like the exhilaration of preventing a huge disaster, something Tara never wanted to give up. She moped aimlessly, looking for something to fill all this free time. Others had their assignments though she had yet to find something to do.
