Background: Rayne was always an average student in the academy for the first year or two, to say the least. She stood on the line of neutrality - not wishing to draw much attention to herself due to her families reputation at the school. Her older sister having graduated a year before her enrollment left a bitter taste in some of the staffs mouth. Rayne wasn't aware of everything her sister did at the academy, thinking her sister only got in trouble from time to time at school because of how things were at home. However, during her third year at the academy, Rayne had gotten into a fight with one of the more popular girls - when trying to defend another student who was being bullied. The girl got physical after Rayne attempted to take back the stolen bag the bully had snatched from the poor student, which resulted in a trip to the principals office. After what felt like hours of arguing with the director, Rayne was suspended for up to a year - and sent to juvie due to the severity of the fight. The popular girl of course getting nothing but a slap on the wrist - Rayne quickly began to despise the school. After returning home, she enrolled in an online school and spends most of her days browsing the internet, where she learned about Team Star. Thinking their cause was just, she supports them online under an anon profile - which gets backlash of course. Stirs up a lot of drama within the academy as well, then catching the eye of team star.
