Fantasy Pure Heart

Hi everyone!

Firstly I would like to apologize for all the scattered info, since the update and being such a new member I have been having some trouble finding everything. :3

This is where the roleplay will start when I announce the beginning. I will notify you all in the OOC which can be found here: http://www.rpnation.com/threads/pure-heart.55710/

Hope you all have fun! Please ignore the OOC and Character Sign-Ups in this thread.

It's time to start! Everyone who has signed up and who I have accepted, begin posting! So, this is where the story begins... For all of you, you may begin with when you leave your group and expedition to find peace. Once we are all in the forest, the adventure starts! Have fun and remember the rules!

It is a dark time in this world. Everyone and everything seems lost, except for maybe hope.

Alina watched as her mother and father climbed up the staircase and disappear behind their bedroom door. She perked up, waiting for any noise. Shoving a sweatshirt in her bag, she zipped up the duffel and carefully tiptoed downstairs. Opening the door ever so slightly and sliding out, as Ali felt the wind in her face she felt alive. The next thing she knew, Ali was here, in this forest. She'd been living there ever since, surviving without a trace of evidence left behind from her escape.

Ali left a long time ago. As she thought about when she left, she smiled upon herself for being so brave and sneaking out. Sure, people back in The Silent First cared about her, but at that time she had to think for herself. Laying underneath the shade of one of the many trees in the dark woods, Alina watched the stars as she bit into an apple. She wondered dreamily if anyone would ever join her on her quest. Knowing that the legend had to be true and that the world had to fall to peace eventually, Ali desperately hoped someone, anyone, would help her on her mission to give her world a little shove.

The woods were dark and dank, and hardly anyone dared to venture there. Strange creatures were said to lurk there, but the rogues had nowhere else to go. The ground is always wet and the trees are rooted in the ground below the murky water. If you were lucky you could find a spot where a tree rose high enough above the swamp to sit under it. Otherwise, you had to venture through a shallow pit of dirty water, nowhere to find a source of clean freshwater.

But still, Alina had to hang in for her cause. She couldn't give up now, not until the day she died. And if I die trying, so be it. Ali thought to herself. She believed in something and she had to make it happen. Though sometimes, just a sliver of her wished she hadn't been born so stubborn.

Sora had just woken up, unable to see clearly. Perhaps, a side effect from waking up? His vision was always blurry when he would first awaken. Never caring why that was, but it did always make him feel a little vulnerable. The tiniest light source hurt his eyes greatly until he was adjusted. Sora took out a small bag. Inside was his two weapons, and a few smoke bombs. But, that wasn't all he needed to take. No, if he was going to explore, or do another job. He'd need to pack clothes, food, medical supplies. Especially the medical supplies, it was easy enough for him to hurt himself, or a small chance of poisoning himself.

Sora began getting dressed first, then ate a small bit of food to hold him over for a little while. It was trouble packing and eating. Food crumbs getting everywhere inside his bag. Not that he really cared, all he needed was to get out of here. Sora didn't have a family, nobody he couldn't even consider that. It didn't bother him, but he always wondered what a family was like. Why he was even alive? He didn't know much of anything, yet for some reason he just moved into the motions of everyday life. A corpse so to speak. Though, very happy with the development of his latest success, Sora wondered.. if there was a bigger purpose for him, or if he was just meant to be a king among thieves.

Sora had finished packing his bag within it some food, some water, a first aid kit, and a few antidotes. He picked it off of the ground, completely forgetting to bring some extra clothes. Stepping outside a strong gust of wind greeted his face. It was cold.. like a refreshing glass of cold water. Never before had he decided to go out on his own. It would be a first for him, in fact it would be an adventure, provided he didn't die before it ended. Sora thought about going to that forest, it was forbidden to him by his teacher. Yet what he didn't know couldn't come back to hurt him right? Unless, he was being followed, yet that rarely happened. Nothing really crossed his mind except for the fun he could have. However, he wouldn't completely ignore the dangers either. If he was to get into trouble, he would just have to run for it.

Sora walked, and for a time took in the scene around him. Always keeping an eye on his surroundings, it wasn't much use though. Sora could easily be sneaked up on, though sometimes he would be masterful and catch them. Finally, he reached the outskirts of the forest, it was dark..so very dark. It occurred that his vision may be worse off in here than before. Getting onto a tree, Sora looked at the nasty water, it appeared undrinkable, but you never know people will do just about anything. If he ran out of water..it may be his last..disgusting choice. Though, he hoped to find something, or someone amazing within the woods.

Sora stayed on the branches of the trees, trying his best to avoid the nasty mess below. He avoided the water at almost every turn, but in the end the nasty waters will could not be denied. Sora slipped and plunged into the water. It wasn't his greatest moment of skill, but it certainly wasn't his worst. Not like the time he poisoned himself with his own weapon anyway. Sora began shaking in somewhat like a dog motion trying to get dry. A messy yet fun start. Sora began looking around for any signs of life, but the mud on his face was covering most of his vision. He didn't remove it just yet for some reason.
