Alexandra
The black-eyed cousin
Two samples from my current Experimental Typography class project.
The brief involves picking a place in my home city, and designing a commemorative postcard to promote it. It can be a mixture of photography or illustration, but must include a word relating to the essence of the area and what it means to the people.
The arch and gates drawing go on the front.
There is a cut down the centre of the illustration, with the two sides folding out; one left and one right, revealing...
...a panoramic view of the park inside. The photo is made of a few different ones taken at various times of day, and patch worked together.
The written copy goes on the back, and that shall follow later, along with photos of the finished product in action
