Take my OC, Margret, for example. She is in Team Sonic. So for my Canon Character Choices, I took Shadow the Hedgehog from Team Dark and Cream the Rabbit from Team Amy. It is awkward to choose Canon characters from your team, you will be talking to yourself. It will be more like writing a story than Roleplaying and that is no fun (Well... In this case, that is). So my advice would be to broaden your horizons and try someone different! Some less popular characters would include; Charmy Bee, Big the Cat, or E-123 Omega.
