Real Age: 37

Assumed Parents: Lewys and Cerissa Farman of the Fair Isles

Assumed Siblings: Jeyne Clifton and Sebaston Farman

Real Parents: Reynard and Eleanor Reyne

Appearance: Leora Reyne has the red hair of her father, and many Reynes, which makes her stand out compared to her “siblings”, Sebaston and Jeyne. Her hair falls to the middle of her back in waves. She is fair of skin, with green eyes she also inherited from her father. She stands at 5’5” tall, and her build is slightly toned, like a swimmers—which makes sense. She does a lot of swimming off the Fair Isles. Her nails are always painted red, and allowed to grow a little long. They are, indeed, sharp.

Brief History: Leora has no memories of her father, nor her mother. Her father was a knight, and the story she grew up with was that her father tried to resolve things peacefully with Tywin Lannister. Tywin cut him down, and buried the Reynes in their own mines. Fortunately, Reynard Reyne had not sent his wife to the mines, but told her to flee to the Fair Isle, where they had allies. That was what she did. She was pregnant then with Leora.

Leora was named by her mother, but her mother died shortly after childbirth. The Farman raised her as their own, and did seem to hold Tywin in contempt for a while for his actions against the Reynes, hearing of Reynard’s attempts to negotiate from Eleanor, and then from Lannister bannermen who mocked Reynard’s weakness. Their ‘hatred’ was settled when Tywin sent a bard to play the song, “The Rains of Castamere”.

Leora was five, and she’s never forgiven him. Throughout her life, she’s honed skills in poison craft and swordplay, with the hope of one day being able to use them against Tywin.

The Farman also weren’t pleased with Tywin’s brutality, but they were his vassals. When Jeyne Farman was given over to Tywin as a “ward” (companion to Cersei), they decided to make Leora their daughter. She is, according to the lie, the younger sister to Jeyne and Sebaston Farman. Somehow their position on an island made it possible for it all to work, and they skewed her age so it would never be assumed she was a Reyne. She was given a new name, but told to never forget who she was. One day, she was promised, she would have revenge.

Life had to move on, though. She was married off to Morgan Banefort, and though their marriage was happy, it was heirless. This frustrated Leora more than anyone, since it meant she’d not be able to restore the Reynes. She was blamed, of course, and Morgan politely divorced her and sent her back to the Fair Isles. Then, his next wife was unable to produce, and the next…Leora was no longer considered barren, and Leora prayed it was true.

Sebaston, ever the good brother, considered ways for Leora to get closer to the Lannisters. He caught wind of the fact that Robert Baratheon was looking for someone to come and assist one of his daughters in learning how to be woman. Considering that Leora was not presently married, and thus free of responsibilities, Sebaston conversed with Robert about Leora filling the role--after all, she already knew quite a bit. It was agreed upon, and Leora was sent to King's Landing to help out, knowing full well that it would also bring her closer to Tywin Lannister. He did visit his twins, the Kingslayer and the Queen, after all.

Sebaston has also been trying to figure out who would be a good match for his sister, despite her plotting the demise of his liege lord. He hasn't informed her of that, yet. Best not to throw off her concentration.
