Fandom Soul Eater OC info

Name: Shiko Devil, Princess of Hell
Age: Biologically immortal but assumed 13-14
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pans because who cares about genders?
Role: Both meister and weapon (battle ax)

Family life;
Her entire life her parents have preferred her brothers over her. She's the youngest of 6 royal children, and is also the only girl.
Her older brothers (in order of descending age) are Ichiro, Niko (aka Nii-san), Kagami and Hiakari (twins) and Yuki, the oldest being 21 and the youngest brother being only about a year older than Shiko. She was constantly bullied by some of her older siblings and abused by her parents.

Personality;
She doesn't actually care about school or becoming a Death Scythe. She only attends the DWMA for protection, and as cover while she attempts to become a kishin.
Because of her unique madness wavelength, she has a real talent for pissing people off. She gets into fights a lot, which she mostly wins.
She's pretty much the opposite of Kid, appreciating asymmetry and purposely ruining the symmetry of things. "Perfection" and symmetry actually annoy her, since she has that "nothing is perfect" mentality, and also has a chaotic soul. She enjoys teasing people and seeing how mad they get.

Shiko's a bit of an insomniac because of her restless nature, strong emotions, and recurring nightmares. Because of this she sometimes falls asleep during class/during the day.

Other important info;
Shiko is not human, like most weapons/meisters at the DWMA. She's actually just a demon with a very powerful (kishin egg) soul, one strong enough to match a human's, and a very convincing human form.

She often acts depressed when she's alone or in a particularly bad mood. There are very few things that can cheer her up when she gets like this. She is very easily enraged and becomes violent very quickly, often jumping into fights without any forethought.
At first, she acts like she hates everyone, especially Crona. She calls them a coward, weakling, etc and resents them for running away and leaving her with Medusa.

Her soul is very unstable, with a chaotic nature that often messes with her judgement. Because her soul isn't the exact same as a human, soul wavelength-powered attacks do little damage to her. She is very easily affected by other madness wavelengths, with little to no resistance to blind rage taking over her mind.
Her wavelength itself is a type of madness wavelength that amplifies the effect of other madness wavelengths present.
She will fight until either she is killed or she defeats her opponent.

Here I might as well explain the relationship between the Grim Reapers and Shiko's family.
They are two separate families. The Grim Reapers represent death in general, and justice for those who have strayed to the side of evil. The Devils, for a lack of a more creative name, are their RIVALS who represent unjustified death.
The Grim Reapers tend to take only evil souls. The Devils take pure and innocent souls, so they're often seen as evil.

Shiko's father (literally Satan) is the king of hell. Shiko is the princess, but since she has older brothers she is not the heir. She left her family to join Medusa in observation of the Demon Swordsman under the promise that Shiko too could become a kishin.

The Devil family;
Mother and father
Ichi (age 21) Pretty chill and intimidating. The heir to the throne
Niko (age 18) Very protective of his younger brothers and sis, particularly Shiko because she's the youngest and is also a girl.
Kagami and Hikari (twins, age 16) The middle children, chaotic and devious.
Yuki (age 15) Quiet and distant. Rarely ever seen outside his room.
Shiko (age 13/14) Student at the DWMA. The only girl in the family besides her mother.

Extra info about Shiko/Important soul wavelength stuff;

Special wavelength: Madness wavelength > Amplification wavelength

Shiko has a special soul wavelength unique to her family called an amplification wavelength. It is a type of madness wavelength that increases the influence of madness and emotions on one's actions. This type of wavelength essentially amplifies the emotions of the person using it to an insane degree. In exchange for loss of control over oneself, the user gains a huge amount of power.

The amplification/madness wavelength can affect others nearby without soul resonance. With soul resonance, the effects are much greater. Effects vary from person to person.

All capacity for rational thought is gone while using or resonating with an amplification/madness wavelength.

Side effects include; dissociation or inability to feel pain, mood swings ranging from maniac highs to depressive lows, changes in attitude, excitability, irritability, nihilistic or suicidal thoughts/feelings, self-destructive behavior, changes in personality

While her wavelength is classified as a madness wavelength, Shiko never becomes a full kishin. Her amplification wavelength is altered by the kishin Asura's madness, and turns into a madness-amplifying wavelength itself. It's less powerful than a kishin's madness but is still very effective and poses a threat to people like Stein or Crona who are easily affected by madness.

Shiko Devil UPDATED BACKSTORY (important new developments)

During the Demon Sword arc (starting around episode 7 of the anime, chapter 4 of the manga), there is another demon weapon that poses the threat of becoming a kishin. This corrupted soul known as the Demon Executioner is both weapon and meister in one.

The Demon Swordsman (Crona) and Demon Executioner (Shiko) are assumed to be associated, but have never actually worked together. They were both allied with Medusa around this time, but never participated in missions together. The Demon Swordsman consumed more souls overall than the Demon Executioner.

There were rumors of their existence during the Demon Sword arc, but only after they bring Crona to their side in the Trial Class arc will the existence of the Demon Executioner be confirmed. Once Crona gives up hunting human souls, souls will continue disappearing, confirming the existence of another demon weapon.
When Shiko appears at the school shortly after the Trial Class arc, there is little suspicion because she has only one soul (contrary to Crona/Ragnarok being individual souls forced to share a body) and had gained an ability similar to Soul Protect that makes her soul appear to be pure. Some meisters, like Maka, can sense that something is different about her soul. While she is attending the school, there is STILL a risk of her becoming a kishin.

Shiko acts normal enough around other DWMA students, but since her soul wavelength is very unstable she sometimes reverts back to the Demon Executioner unintentionally. This is characterized by sudden aggression, anger, and excessive violence, and she may also express the desire to consume or destroy other students' souls.
The transition to the Demon Executioner is often triggered by stress, or sometimes the influence of other peoples' wavelengths. She always instantly reverts back to the Demon Executioner when a madness wavelength is present.

The Demon Executioner's personality is similar to the Demon Swordsman/Crona at the beginning of the Demon Sword arc. She's afraid and resorts to violence to take care of things she doesn't like/understand. She doesn't value her own life and attacks recklessly. She acts a bit insane (laughing inappropriately, making nonsensical comments, stretching random vowel sounds (in Japanese, turning "ne" into "nee", "ki" into "kii", etc, causing her to pronounce "kishin" like "kii-shi-n" or "ki-shii-n") attacking without regard for her own life).

Crona IS aware of the Demon Executioner's existence, but not their identity. At most, Shiko's wavelength will feel vaguely familiar to them, but they won't make the connection themselves.
Maka will eventually recognize that Shiko's soul is unstable and appears to be partway into becoming a kishin.

Death/Shinigami-sama may forgive what Shiko has done, only on the conditions that she permanently gives up hunting human souls and allows other meisters to help her manage her anger/impulses.
