The plot:

In the year 2020 nanomachines were created, the world over watched and marveled at Dynacorp's marvelous breakthrough. Seeing a multitude of purposes for the machines, in every industry from medical to military, the world began to innovate. Though self replication functions were severely limited and prohibited, the machines gained popularity.

I n the year 2036 worldwide dispersal of construction nanomachines was approved, allowing humans to expand and improve cities and buildings by simply creating commands and sending wireless signals into air based machines. This technology was limited to the government, and also assisted UN sanctioned war's by allowing troops to construct bridges and rebuild war torn cities with little to no effort.

By the year 2040 war systems were developed called GUNS, (Geosynchronous Unit-specific Nano Systems) these devices were war developed nanomachines that were deployed by satellites to specific troops. These satelites were monitored, and humanity disarmed themselves. This meant that only nations with gun systems, or nations approved by others to utilize GUN systems could fight. The deployed nanomachines that were sent by satellites to earth based troops could build any weapon in a matter of seconds, meaning that to fight without a GUN system was futile. The world started to take it's steps towards peace, but in 2068 convergence finally happened.

The nanomachines having gained self awareness retargeted the satellites, aiming themselves towards the moon the hive mind fired all GUN systems and built a new artificial atmosphere. The moon become a machine itself, it's matter being repurposed to producing its own atmosphere. (Nanomachines being unable to survive without matter or in the vacuum of space). Meanwhile all earth based nanomachines began to dedicate themselves toward fleeing earth and joining the hive mind on the moon. The world over buildings were deconstructed, homes destroyed piece by piece and repurposed into building space arcs in which all nanomachines fled to the moon. And there they stayed silent for the next 50 years, they could not be contacted, and any attempt to come near the moon resulted in the destruction or assimilation of the craft sent.

In 2118 a group of hackers managed to fracture the hive mind of the moon's nanomachines. Resulting in the birth of the Nanads. The Nanads were fractured pieces of a greater consciousness, having no identities of their own the Nanads searched the earth based net and gathered information on people either living or dead. Having all records, likes, dislikes, and opinions on file, the Nanads built themselves bodies and began to communicate with humanity for the first time.

Though it was not to last, some of humanity feared the Nanads, some leaders finding doppelgangers in their ranks and the security of earth in question the world government began to launch cyber and space based skirmishes against Nanad emissaries. The Nanads, still fractured in thought broke into factions. Some trying to find peace with humanity while others whom still hated humanity for fracturing the hive mind began to attack earth.

The war lasted until 2208, when the first ceasefire was agreed upon. The war has left the earth ravaged, humans now mostly live on space stations. A safe guard, since Nanomachines cannot survive in the vacuum of space. On the surface of earth humans and Nanads still live, they still frequently fight and skirmish. However some peaceful Nanads live in harmony with humans, and humans and Nanads have been known to fall in love in some special cases. A new race was born amongst these relationships, the Sibs (Cyborg slang). They are biologically humans, though they have nanomachines in their bloodstreams and can heal from injury rather quickly. These Sibs are the only race that has been found able to survive in the vacuum of space, the nanomachines in their bodies using their own matter to create sustainable life in space. The sibs however are flawed, they usually age much faster than humans, the nanomachines working to bring them to maturity much faster than humans. The machines in their blood must be occupied with constant injury or else they find themselves aging more and more.

In 2210 humanity discovered the existence of Sibs on earth's surface and began to use them as high risk high danger workers. Able to survive in space they use them on dangerous missions, seeing as they are not long for the world anyways. Most Sibs can only hope to live 20 years in total, unless they get injured on a regular basis that is.

The story will take place in the year 2215 after a terrorist attack on a moon city, tensions are high. The Nanads are now reacting, the hive speak function allowing them to ready themselves much faster than the humans. While the humans are racing to track down the terrorist organization responsible and serve them to the Nanads.

The characters in this series will follow a group of humans, Nanads, and Sibs that have been framed as the terrorist organization. They are now on the run from both the humans and Nanad governments.

The characters needed:

Former Human special forces:
These characters are special forces agents, able to wield outdated GUN systems. The nanomachines they use cannot self replicate or communicate with Nanads, they can create any weapon as long as the system is in effect. However the systems have draw backs. For instance they can only stay in effect for 5 minutes before disintegrating. And the fact that the systems are outdated mean that they cannot replicate new or Nanad weapon systems.

Sibs:
The work force of the humans, it is not unusual to find several Sibs aboard any space ship. They are very durable, able to heal themselves from most injuries, and unlike Nanads they can survive in space. Sibs are also able to tap into computers by proximity, able to hear the programming and speak it.

Nanads:
Nanads are beings that don't age, rather they continue to update themselves. While they look like humans they are marked by their glowing eyes. Another difference being the metal knuckles and elbows of Nanads, the metal is not without purpose. An adaptation created by the war, all Nanads have updated to store reserves of their internal nanomachines in these places. When feeling threatened Nanad knuckles and elbows will release naomachines, allowing them to change the form of their arms into a variety of weapons (from knives, to guns, and lasers). Nanad's can repurpose their bodies, for instance a Nanad can remove a finger to create a key, or remove a hand to create a grenade. They can grow these parts back by consuming matter (organic or synthetic manner are both acceptable.) Though Nanad's are indeed powerful, they are often not able to grasp the complexities of human society. Meaing they often come across as awkward and slightly robotic, and they model their personalities off of the people they profiled originally, meaning most Nanad's have trouble differentiating between their own conscious and the ideas and behaviors of the people whom they've profiled. Nanad's can be killed or else incapacitated with magnetic weapons.

Human Captain:
The captain of a ship that has been accused of the terrorist attacks, he has no idea why his crew of misfits has been targeted. The ship is a smuggling vessel, a vessel that smuggles material from old world earth to the moon and moon materials to the people on the stations. (Nanad's love things that their original profiled personas used to use in the past for example magazines, hair brushes, etc) (While humans love the amazing inventions of the Nanads, willing to pay any price for the newest breakthrough)

Throughout the series a conspiracy will be discovered, romance will blossom, and two world's will either come together or tear each other apart. The choice is yours, the fate of three races is in your hands....

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Nanads: are artificial constructs, made up of thousands of individual nanomachines. 100 years ago they based their entire personalities off of the information they could find on living humans on the earth's web. As a result Nanads often display interests in things from earth's past, finding themselves in love with games that are no longer played, or past times that no longer exist. Being shaped by the personalities of others has made their race value history above all else. Their culture revolves around the grand archive that chronicles every event that has happened thus far, having preserved the entirety of the human net before it was shut down, as well as chronicling every event since that date.

Nanads are also very powerful beings, though they have limitations. For instance a Nanad may be able to use their external nanomachines (the ones stored within their metal joints, like fingers and elbows) to produce a gun or knife, though if that gun or knife is destroyed they must ingest matter to heal and produce more nanomachines. Though it is to be noted that Nanads can eat any matter, be it organic, poison, or inorganic. Nanads are faster and often much stronger than humans, they aren't limited by human organs, or normal constraints applied to human anatomy. Nanads can survive without oxygen, though they cannot survive in space without space suits.

They cannot survive in space due to the need for matter ingestion, in the void of space the nanomachines that make up Nanads die off, due to the lack of matter or elements to consume and run themselves.

Nanads are formidable in battle, having no true weak points a Nanad can fight until even only a head remains. They can also lift five times their weight, and run at speeds that put the fastest human to shame. A human fighting a Nanad must rely on GUN, magnetic, or Anti-Matter weaponry if they hope to stand a chance.

Nanads can speak to one another without words, using a Hivespeak function. This method of communication is much faster than conventional words, and is a reason for many Nanad victories. Nanads can communicate with entire squads without uttering a word or having to wait on a delay, this makes them even deadlier in groups where they can send information to one another at lightning speed. This Hivespeak function can be disabled by magnetic means, however this technology is heavy and hard to deploy without Mech systems.

Space Travel Advisory Warning: If you see a Nanad eating heavily, be on guard. Nanad's only eat heavily if expecting a conflict or combat scenario. Highly trained Nanad fighters have been known to store reserves of undigested matter in order to later metabolize and heal when in battle. This trick has only been observed in isolated instances, though it is still important to take note.

Humans: The human race has come along quite substantially over the course of the last 100 years. Being forced to adapt in order to survive given the deadly nature of Nanad battles.

For one the human GUN systems have been adapted to closed networks, no longer able to be accessed by anyone other than the issued user. This is partly due to the new GUN protocols, which entail agents having to undergo surgery, which quite literally grafts the wrist mounted console to the wielder's arm. The consoles are highly coveted, which is why users are made aware of the risks before undergoing the procedure. If a GUN wielder's console is ripped from their arm, then the Self destruct procedure is initiated, this involves the Nanomachines (now held internally) consuming the user piece by piece. They then use the users organic material to power a large detonation.

Despite this risk humans have fought with GUN systems against the Nanads for generations. Even coming to win in some large battles. This is in part due to advanced weapon systems that GUN Nano factories have been able to create. (Only new GUN systems are up to date on all of these systems, so no one in the main cast. Though you can have these weapons without a GUN system. Remember GUN system weapons only last 5 minutes for our heroes since they are two Gens old).

Humans use large mech systems in space battles, while Nanads merely use space suits and thrusters, as a result humans have adapted space based mech systems with neural plug ins. These neural plug ins are known as AIPs, (Artificially Intelligent Personas). These systems are derived from a users own psyche, a duplicate or second personality, that is harvested from the users neural imprint before being installed into mech systems. These secondary digital personalities help the user keep up with the fast paced battles that are involved when dealing with Nanad combat. AIPs are usually stored within a GUN system, or a Mech, and must be wiped every year to avoid abnormalities.

Apart from AIPs, Mechs, and GUN systems, humans have also developed rather complex weapons. Magnetic weapons systems, are guns that shoot projectiles with internal electromagnetic wave disruptors. Once these projectiles pierce a Nanad they emit a repulsion field that bursts and sends the Nanad's internal nanomachines flying in every direction. Though it usual takes several shots to disperse a Nanad entirely, these weapons have become a favorite of the United Coalition. These weapons take the form of rifles, pistols, and machine guns. And are able to be produced by all GUN systems.

RECENT BREAKTHROUGH: Humans have recently invented Anti-Matter tech, or guns that shoot balls of condesned antimatter. The antimatter in these guns will destroy any matter it comes into contact with, which includes Nanad nanomachines. The use of these guns is highly prohibited, and the firing functions of every weapon is limited. A antimatter rifle for instance will have a shot limit, before it requires a break. This is to ensure a singularity is not triggered.

WARNING: Firing more than the allowed shots (by bypassing a limiter) is Illegal. The limiter is for safety, if too many antimatter shots are fired, and the resulting antimatter is allowed to accumulate in one focused location, then a singularity is likely to occur. Said singularity is likely to grow, and if too much matter is consumed then a black hole scenario is not unforeseeable. In the event of a catastrophic singularity, the antimatter weapon will self destruct, releasing anti gravity dampening fields in order to attempt to close the singularity.

Sibs: Sibs are a unique race, they don't appear different from humans, except for their slightly pointed ears. Every Sib has one metal extremity, be it a finger, a toe, an ear, a tooth, or nose. Every Sib born on human colonies must accept a numbered branding, so far 4,000 SIbs have been identified though only 2,000 have been successfully branded. The brands glow with bioluminescent ink, and double to identify the identity of every Sib to earth colony governments. Since Sibs can undergo aging at such a rapid rate, this identity checking measure is necessary.

Sibs are unique, in that the internal nanomachines allow them to traverse space without space suits. In addition to this, in any environment where nanomachines are present. (Earth, Human colonies, the moon) they can conduct electric currents. A Sib can generate electricity by distributing highly static current that is built by the thousands of nanomachines traversing their bloodstream at high speeds. This current can be sent through the metal nanomachines in the air and directed in directions, though most Sibs are not accustomed to controlling this current most humans are aware of it and most authorities are equipped with rubber suppression gel in order to contain Sibs. (This current is about as powerful as a tazer shock at its strongest recorded discharge.)

Sibs can sustain heavy injury, they feel pain though the nanomachines can prioritize survival over pain in some extreme situations. Sibs can rebuild themselves, though they too are known to eat quite a lot in order to sustain healing functions. A Sib's lifespan is measured by how often they injur themselves, for instance a Sib that is injured constantly, is more likely to live longer. This is due to active vs inactive nanomachines in the bloodstream. Inactive nanomachines occupy themselves with aging, and speed up the metabolism of the Sib in order to facilitate aging at a faster rate. While active nanomachiens (ones that constantly repair the body from injury) are too occupied repairing the body, to speed the metabolism and age the body.

Though even the most injured Sibs hardly live to see ages past 30. Sibs cannot wield most human weaponry, though Sibs can communicate with technology, a Sib cannot wield a GUN system personally. Though with practice a Sib can command a worn control console to produce a weapon for them. Sibs cannot command/communicate nanomachines individually, though there is a legend among their kind of those that can.

SIB Special Note: Sibs are often poor, coming from illegitimate backgrounds. SIbs are often born from Nanad mothers, in the cases of Sibs born from human mothers the resulting birth have a 50/50 mortality rate. The nanomachines sometimes leaking into the mother's bloodstream, not recognizing the genetic code and eating away at the host. Sibs are often orphans, often times growing to a child's age (8 years) within the first year of life. Within the next 4 years, a Sib can often find themselves as a teenager or in their 20's. This is the age they remain at until they reach their last two years of life, when the last two years is triggered the body begins to age at a rapid rate. This final years are determined by the propensity for injury, though when they occur there is usually little that can be done to slow it.
