The war had been raging on for over a decade now, it seems like everyone had been getting involved now, from the common man, all the way to the most feral beasts. You being the strong reliable mercenary that you are have been enlisted to fight for the Silver Legion, a group of imperial humans that seek to put the world back in order, and under their law. They are not looking for a common soldier though. No they are looking for someone who can once and for all change the tides of the war, and take on their most important, and dangerous missions. You receive a letter the next time you step into town, the scratchy parchment bears the insignia of the Silver legion; a large shield with an array of weapons sticking out from both sides.

Inside the envelop was a hundred gold pieces, and the location of the first objective, an old ruin that had been swarmed by undead that attack anyone on sight, it was only a four hour journey to the west, and should prove easy to find. Especially since the locals never stopped warning people about not going in there. 'Should you chose to accept this mission you will be asked to retrieve the artifact, and deliver it Ellanor the city of the Silver Legion. If you are able to complete this mission you will be proven worthy, and enlisted to help the Silver Legion in further war efforts, and secure the future of Landfall. This is a great honor indeed.' It looks like the first step is a delivery job of all things, but it should prove interesting enough.
