History:

Katia lived at home with her parents, her older sister Natalia and her younger sister Gabriella. Her father is researcher, and her mother is a professor. Her older sister is in university to become a lawyer, and her younger sister goes to a school that is for younger children. Katia was always the odd one out in her family, as they all loved reading, learning new things and artsy stuff. She was always the one who wanted to run around and go out and do something. Her parents tried to find something for her to put all of her energy into. They tried different sports, but though Katia enjoyed them she lost interest after a while. The only thing she did like and continues to do, is running. Her parents continued to try and had no luck. Though one day, Katia and her family went on a trip to New York and went to see different shows and musicals. They were shocked to see how much Katia loved every minute of it and was captivated. When they returned home, they signed her up for different acting classes and it helped her focus her energy into something. And to their surprise, she never got bored of it. Katia loved it, and has loved it ever since her first class. She loves being accepted for the amount of energy she has, and taking on different roles and being creative.

In Katia’s father’s family, it’s tradition that when all children are old enough, they are sent to a boarding school. She had been first sent to an all-female boarding school that was very strict. Unfortunately, Katia did not last very long there. It took four boarding schools before Katia’s grandmother suggested that she be sent to the gifted school that she can stay involved with acting. Since being there, Katia has been a lot better and has been attending there for a couple of years. She still tends to break the rules and push boundaries, but not enough to get her kicked out. She loves the school too much for that to happen.

History; Cass was the youngest in her family, which consisted of her parents and her two older brothers. Cassie fell in love with dancing at the young age of seven, in which her parents enrolled her in any class she took interest in. Unlike her brothers who were more academically gifted and business-like, she preferred art and freedom that came with it. Her father, seeing as his daughter did not share his personality was harder on her, always strict. He enrolled her in tougher courses, music lessons, and singing lessons. Hoping at least she would be at something he deemed worth it. Her mother left when she was only ten, leaving her as the only woman in the house other than the maids. Her brothers and father always seem cold around her and would laugh if she did something wrong or messed up in her lessons. After five years of this, her mother finally came back and took Cass away. Moving far from Cass's home town and enrolled Cass in Gregory Brook's Academy as a transfer student, hoping to bring some hope to the girl's future. Wonder Woman (sorry it's short, I'm not the best at biographies.)

H I S T O R Y​

Becks family doesn't exactly get her. It's not that they aren't used to gifted children, both of Becks older siblings went to Gregory Brooks; it's just that they were both academically gifted like her parents. Her mom is a neuroscientist and her dad is a theoretical physicist, honestly her house is just a whole lot of science which she doesn't understand.
When Beck was about 6 her teachers told her parents that she was hyperactive, unfocused in class, so her parents logically got her tested for learning disabilities, though there was no way she would... they were wrong about that one. Beck was diagnosed with ADHD on the spot. Her parents saw it as the end of the world but it never bothered the girl too much.
Then, when Beck turned 10 she joined dance. It was something her mom read in a study about how dancing can improve focus and grades in children with ADHD, for Beck however it became her true love, she soon then spent every day dancing and improving until it was time for her to apply for Gregory Brooks. Her marks were nowhere near good enough for the academics program, so instead she sent in a video of herself dancing which earned her a spot in the arts/athletics dance program.
Summer after her first year of school she was approached by an agent who wanted the girl to model for a simple clothing brand which started her now growing modelling career that she kept to the side of dancing. She was finally proud of herself though her parents seem like they never will be able to be, not unless she gave up modelling, hung up the dance shoes and subjected herself to a life of studying.

She started playing guitar around that age, and found she had a knack for it. Same with piano. Anything that had to do with music, almost, came easy to her because of her passion. Her parents paid for private lessons until they found out about Gregory Brooks, and decided to enroll her. Although she spends her time doing what she's passionate about, there's only so many times you can sing the school song before you get bored with it. She longs to sing her own stuff. But she doesn't really complain about it, because she is still singing, and has even done a few music videos, again thanks to her parents.

Eva was born to the Blake couple in Torquay, a small port town in southwest England. They were upper middle class as her mother was a skilled psychiatrist and her father was a pilot. Because of this, he was not home very often, leaving her with her mother and grandmother. She was an only child and even though she wanted siblings, she learned to find ways to amuse herself. She was very creative when she was young and she had imaginary friends like many children did. While Eva was quite a feminine girl who liked dresses and bright colors, she enjoyed uprooting random plants and playing in mud and dirt.

When she was 6, she started learning to play the guitar. It started with an acoustic guitar that her mother bought for her. A first, she was excited, but after realizing that it was way harder than it looked, she lost interest. However, her mother would not allow this to happen and she put Eva in guitar lessons. She took lessons from a local teacher named Ms. Marie Collins. She helped her to rekindle the interest of learning guitar and Eva realized that she could do it and it wasn't so bad when she had a teacher. She was taught until she was 9, when she took it upon herself to learn to play the guitar.

She was homeschooled by her parents until she was 11, when her parents moved to South London and she was put in a private school there. In the school, she learned to play piano for orchestra and her parents bought her an electric guitar. She was excited and she quickly learned to play well with it. Eva liked private school quite much, as she made a few friends despite her quiet exterior and she excelled in subjects like art and music. Not that she wasn't good in anything else, but her highest grade was in art.

When she was 14, she became bored with the piano and stopped practicing so much and focused on the guitar. She also began writing her own songs and took singing lessons, even though she was rather shy about it at first. Eva and her parents came to the United States when she was 16 and she applied to Gregory Brooks and earned a spot in their music program.

Angel was born in Lyon, Frnace which is where his parents had originally met and fell in love. He grew up in a stable household in which they spoke French and English interchangeably allowing him to be fluent in both. He had been interested in art since he was old enough to grasp a crayon in his small fist and it just felt right. His parents had always been his best cheerleaders and encouraged him to follow his dreams. At the age of 7, they were called into the office to discuss Angel's low grades in every subject besides English in which he excelled because he was given the freedom to write whatever he felt. It was obvious that Angel did well in the classes that gave him artistic freedom instead of strict formulas and equations, he was soon diagnosed with dyscalculia and went through a depression over it.

After coming to that realization, his parents encouraged him to pursue his future in the arts and it became a good outlet for his emotions over everyone else considering him an 'idiot' or 'stupid'. Angel didn't allow his disorder to stop him from being outgoing but he often spent time drawing in the classes that he was unable to understand. After awhile, Angel managed to get some of his works into a pretty well-known exhibition. Soon after that, the invitation to Gregory Brooks Academy came as a blessing to him since it was a school that focused on what the students were good at. Angel knew it would be a different environment but he was excited about a school that wanted him for what he was capable of and excelled at.​

Lucius was born in Accra, Ghana on October 4th. He was born to a teen mother and dead beat father. With the help of his grandparents Lucius was raised to be a respectable young man. It made good grades and respected his elders. From a young age it was always apparent that he had a gift when it came to writing. He was able to write stories full of creativity. His family only encouraged this, supporting his dream of becoming a famous author. When he was five Lucius moved to America with his mother. He had some trouble when he first moved and started school. People made fun of him because of where he was from. Lucius never let it get to him.

History:
Cade is an only child, so when his father left him and his mother alone when he was just a kid, he became her whole world. She did everything she could for him, all while working full time and putting herself through college to make something of herself. She became a teacher, and then, a principal. Though the salary isn't what a doctor would be making, she loves shaping young minds, and to be honest that's something he got from her. They're both natural born leaders, although she isn't quite as laid back as he is. She's up front and opinionated, while he is content to sit back until he disagrees with something.

She's paying alot to get him into this school for his senior year, but with his talent for football and baseball, he could easily get a scholarship to a good college somewhere and make something of himself, and help her back. At least, that's his plan. It's been the two of them for a long time, and he doesn't know where he'd be without her. In other words, don't joke his mother seriously, or you might end up with a black eye. Though he doesn't really have a bad temper, he can be set off by someone being stupid like that. He's a tad bit reckless; willing to do just about anything to make a pretty girl smile.

History:
Bonnie comes from a large family of eight. Her family had a comfortable life. They could be described as middle class. Bonnie's was a nurse and her father was a mechanic. Their house rather noisy, it was always feeled with the sounds of laugher and the commotion that the kids made. There was never a dull moment in the Campbell household. Her love for cooking started out small. She would watch her parents cook meals whenever she could. Whenever they were away Bonnie's grandmother would babysit. She noticed how intently her granddaughter would watch her cook one night and began to teach her. It was apparent that she had a gift from the way she grasped onto recipes quickly and was able to mix in match to create her own. When she was old enough to handle the kitchen equipment with a adult meat Bonnie took off. She would cook meals for her family with some help from her parents and grandma.

News of her abilities spread around quickly. Bonnie would make plate lunches and bake sweets for school fundraisers or charity events in town. She'd even work in the soup kitchen during her free time. As she got older Bonnie began to profit from the food she made. From making cakes and cupcake for a birthday party or graduation party Bonnie did it all. When she got accepted into academy she had jumped for joy.

he never spoke about her mother. she wasn't around, and that was that. her father was a good russian man, serious and rough, but good. she was molded to be exactly like him as she grew up by the way he taught her. he taught her many valuable things, beyond what any private school could have taught her.

starting at a young age, she began going to schools that were exclusive, only for the wealthiest. the classroom held few children, so the teachers took time to educate each and every one of them to their own individual needs. lilith just so happened to pick things up even quicker than the others. she was exceptional at maths, and could memorize formulas unusually quick. she was moved up several grades, again and again, every top school in russia, but she would excel each and every time. when she reached fifteen, her papa was out of options. with his daughter's best interests at heart, he sent her to a boarding school in america. she picked up the american accent quickly, and was to start school soon. she missed her papa dearly, but they were sure to call each other every night. this was only what her studies taught her.

her papa was cold and distant, but again, good. he wasn't one to express 'love', even though he did love her more than anything. he taught her values. strength. he taught her to build emotional walls, and push past everyone's limits and expectations. one night, her papa carried a six year old lilith out to the woods, only dressed in a satin nightgown. she shivered in the snow, her feet becoming numb as her toes squished over the soft ice. she was cold, but she had to learn that the only way to overcome it, is to become colder. her father broke through the frozen lake with an ice pick, and told her to go in the water. she trusted him, and did so. her body became so numb, so frigidly cold, the water coming up to her shoulders. he pulled her out and took her inside. hypothermia. she got well quickly, but she never forgot the night. she learned something. she knew her father wasn't crazy for doing that to her. she was thankful for it. the lesson, to become colder than the cold.

History // Avery was born as an only child to Sara and Ryan Owens, who were always away on business trips. Because of this he was often times left home alone without parental figures. He often had a babysitter and was homeschooled until he started middle school. From an early age Avery had always been fascinated with contortionists and different languages, and when he wasn't studying for school he would often go to contortionist classes and self taught himself several languges. He went to a regular middle school and was often times teased because of his red hair and blue eyes. By the age of eleven his parents thought that he was old enough to stay at home by himself, causing him to become even more lonely. By the time he was twelve he had already mastered several languages and was an amazing contortionist. Upon entering eighth grade his parents had to move, and he went along with them, moving three whole states. At the school he made a friend unlike the other, and their friendship bloomed rather quickly. Avery and his friend Zoey became close, to the point where many thought they were dating. It wasn't until halfway through the school year that things started to go wrong. It was at this time that Avery found out about his sexuality and the first person that he told was Zoey (considering the fact that his parents as usual, weren't home). Sadly, he didn't know that she, as well as the majority of the town was homphobic and was soon regretting his descision. The bullying was even worse than it was at middle school and at one point he was even battling with depression. When he was ending his freshmen year, his parents came home, and said that they were staying home for a few months. Excited Avery immediately showed his parents his talents, as he had never gotten the time before considering they never had time for him. A week after showing his gifts Avery heard that he was now going to go to a school called Gregory Brooks Academy.

Unfortunately, however, the students at her previous school thought that Parker was a freak for this reason. History: Parker was born in the mountains of Yellowstone National Park to Jensen and Gabriella Ray. Both of her parents were park rangers there, and had college degrees in natural resources. Her parents met in their college forestry class, and fell in love almost immediately. Within a few years after their graduation from college, Parker was born. She grew up running around in the park with her parents, who immediately began to teach her about the different flora and fauna that inhabited the area. Parker fell in love with learning about nature at a young age, and began to pursue it herself as she got older. She won her middle school science fair with a project on wolf behavior, helped her parents bottle-feed and raise abandoned baby raccoons, and even helped pull a buck from its fall into a not-completely-frozen lake. Everyday was a new adventure.

Once Parker reached high school, she began to notice that the other students were whispering things about her as she walked down the hallways. Within a few months of beginning high school, Parker was given the name "Mountain Freak" and bullied into introversion. She didn't really have any friends, often spending free periods and lunch either hidden in the library, reading up on another new creature, or out in the forest just outside her school. Saddened for their daughter, Jensen and Gabriella decided to send her to another school for gifted children in hopes that she would be more accepted and less bullied there.

  Ever since he was a child, Eddie has been an imaginative and exploratory child. Whilst he understands the real world and the distinction between fact/fiction, he likes to escape into a good comic or movie. His father never liked that and would often confiscate his "toys" from him and force him to study. Eddie liked studying and has always been highly intelligent, but having academics used as a punishment was always upsetting for him. Eddie was never a stranger to the back of his father's hand, either. These punishments came about as young Eddie would often dismantle his toys and gadgets, sometimes completely deconstructing expensive computer equipment. His father only saw a destructive, ungrateful child, but in reality Eddie was exploring the equipment; learning by rebuilding and designing.
  
  Eddie's childhood wasn't all bad. His older brother and sister were always there for him, and his mother was the sweetest woman. She nurtured Eddie's hobbies and would often step up to stop him from being punished harshly, even if it did lead to his parents arguing later. Regardless, due to his father's belittlement, Eddie has always felt inferior to others, like people find him weird and unattractive. Despite excelling throughout school and knowing he's smart, he still downplays his talents and achievements.
  
  When Eddie's mother died two years ago, everything changed. His older siblings had already moved out of the family home which meant it was just Eddie and his father living at home. The atmosphere was cold and the two barely spoke to each other. Neither of them liked living together so it came as a relief when Eddie's father decided to send him off to a boarding school. Although he's far from popular, Eddie loves school as it's a million times better than his home-life was and he finds the teachers are encouraging of his talents.
