Glossary
​

• Deifacted Nethicite: It includes the Midlight, Dawn, and Dusk shard. These were stones of magical power cut from the Sun Cryst by King Raithwall, given by the Occuria.​
• Manufactured Nethicite: Man-made Nethicite, made mostly in Archadia in the Draklor Labs.​
• Occuria: So-called "Gods" of Ivalice, who had a hand in creating the Scions and Espers.​

The Divine

The Occuria​

• Gerun: Seems to be the leader of the Occuria, and is working to manipulate Ashe to become a new Dynast-King and restore peace and order to Ivalice.​
• Venat: A heretic who turned on the other Occuria, and is trying to give mankind dominion over its future.​

The Others​

• Miriam: Little is known of Miriam, except they were not Occurian, and they were associated with swords.​

The Espers and Scions​

• Belias: The Gigas, and the true treasure of Raithwall's tomb, allowing entry to Giruvegan, and audience with the Occuria. Ashe has this Esper bound to herself.

The Godless Kindom:

Before the Dynast King united the kingdoms, in an area now known as The Waylands, was a kingdom called The Godless now. They were powerful and prosperous. They wielded power to themselves and no one else.

When the Dynast King united the kingdoms, the Godless Kindom, created a weapon to destroy the power the Dynast King wielded.

From there, it is unknown whether the Dynast King destroyed the kingdom or another source.

Now it is a waste land. A dried up lake, where only salt remains and dangerous creatures. The pathway is through a narrow canyon.

The Empyrean Era​

An era theorized to have occurred before the Occurian Era. Ruins associated with the Empyrean Era can be found in the Tchita Uplands, several domed buildings representing an architectural style not otherwise found in Archades, Nabradia, Dalmasca, or other surrounding kingdoms.

Miriam is associated with the Empyrean Era, a figure that survived into eras, only for the Stilshrine to be used to house King Raithwall's treasures.

The ruins in the Tchita Uplands were used to imprison Famfrit, one of the Espers who rebelled against the Occuria.
