The Beginning
The town quietly bustled with the local life. The tall building cast dark shadows over the town's street, yet no one minded as they continued with their lives. Parts of the town were being reconstructed because of a recent confrontation with the king. Needless to say, it really didn't end very well. Regardless of the matter the town continued on, other places have had it far worse than they did. It's said that the king had once ordered the complete obliteration of a village before. The reasoning behind this varied, but the outcome was the same. The king showed no mercy. People remembered the days in which the monarchy was on their side and helped the poor. Though those days were long past them now, all part of stories one tells children before bed. While the town's people moved about, they were completely unaware of the beginning of a new era brewing. The start of revolution was at rise.
Finally leaving the fiery landscapes of hell, the sins awoke to find them situated in the small town. This was they're only path to rest. If they complete the task, they could finally free themselves from the endless suffering. There was only one thing they must do before they could begin on their route to atonement, find the anchor.
