Creator and Destroyer of One Thousand Realities
The operator gazed at the terminal at her desk, her mouth agape. This is what she saw.

That was the day the Moon Colonies were bombed. November 31st, 2043. In the sky people saw flashes of blue and orange as plasma clashed. People on the Moon didn't have time to scream, their atmosphere generators were damaged, and their protective Bio-Shields had been pierced. The vacuum of space took care of survivors.
Ever since 2041 tensions had been high. Mars wanted independance and went to court with the Earth and Moon councilors. The Moon remained loyal to the ICEC, (Intergalactic Code of Earth Control). The Code told Colonies that they still belonged to Humanity, and Humanity belonged to Earth, therefore telling them they must remain under control of Earth officials. Mars was angered with Earth, and with the Moon Colonies. Resistance began by force in March 29th, 2042. Government bases on Mars were attacked.
Suddenly, on November 21st of 2043, Marsian Terrorists, or the Resistance, began bombing and killing any who didn't agree. That included the Moon, and the Pluto Colonies, who did not go to Court. Contact with Pluto was lost, and a chunk of the Moon rained down from the sky, remnants of the chunks collided with cities and land and damaged them on Earth, including NYC.
The IHA, (Intergalactic Human Alliance), declared war on the Marsian colonies, who were beating hard against the remaining IHA troops on Mars. Refugees from the Moon and Pluto came to settle on Earth, waiting for the day they could return to their homes. Many of them signed up as IHA troops, and the invasion on Mars began.
However the IHA needed something more, something better. Scientists from all around Earth and from the refugee camps came together to creature an advanced version of the supersuits and supersoldiers they had made around 2016.
They called it Project Domus, or home in latin. The soldiers were picked from a batch of recruits and specially trained. They were later improved with their own AIs connected with their brain through a chip within, connecting to the brain's sensors.
Following the AI enhancement, subjects were also given supersuits of different kinds, in which they were allowed to customize to their liking. They also had cybernetic implants that greatly increased strength, speed, and perception, all around their major muscles and within their eyes.
The supersoldiers, named Valkyries, were then released. The final day of being in a test lab was this day, December 22nd, 2043. Squads were to be picked today by Scientists, and their mission would be explained by Commander Reynold Lane.
Will you be one of the Resistance's best? A IHA trooper, perhaps a Valkyrie? Maybe even a Marsian Colonist? It's all your choice, of course, and the fate of this new reality is in your hands.

New York City is much different then it is in the present. Due to advanced alloys and all of the traffic NYC looks much shinier then it did before, however some of the city is damaged due to the Resistance's bombing of the moon in 2043.

3.Don't godmod. Valkyries may be strong, but they can still be killed. A challenge for a Valkyrie would be around 20 Resistance Fighters, but one of their best would be an even match.
