The Church, or more so the cult, has strange objectives, committing illegal deeds while escaping the Magic Council at every turn. The one time that they came close to being caught was when Hiro was born. They raided their hideout and arrested as many people as they physically could, but their leader was nowhere to be seen. The only thing that was left, was a small blue haired child with a Star burned into his right arm.

From there Hiro was raised by Park Hi-ro, him also being the same man who taught him magic.
