The world at large is aware that there are people among them capable of things that are extraordinary. And though you would think these people are idolized like mythological Greek gods of ancient times, they are not, instead society outcast them, tagged them as freaks. The government forced them to come out and register as Evos in order to monitor them, and what most thought was the proper course of action became a tool for discrimination. Fear of Evos is widespread, after the terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas a year ago, that decimated the city, Evos have been forced to hide and live on the run since.



Heroes RebornThis is a fandom RP based on the TV series Heroes and Heroes Reborn. The general storyline is similar to the TV show; Evos (people with superpowers) are being sought out by secret groups with nefarious motives, and for better or for worse, some are fated to cross paths with other heroes, together, their ultimate destiny is to save the world and mankind.


Our characters exist in the same timeline as the series, but we’ll have an original cast and plot running. The characters from the series and ours will not cross paths. And no, you do not need to have seen the show to join the RP.

The Groups"The Voice", a mysterious hero, is telepathically contacting people with abilities, telling them where to meet others, who to seek for help, telling them when to run and when to fight, in order to set in motion a master plan. It isn't clear what the master plan is or what her motives are, and though you don't know who she is she seems to be helpful. The followers of the voice call themselves The Awaken, they believe that when you hear the voice you've been chosen for a higher purpose.


The Hunters are a group of people with abilities working for a clandestine organization under the government umbrella. These are anti-heroes, people that will do anything to survive the "Evo genocide" even if they themselves are leading the war against evolution. These people believe they are doing no wrong, strongly believing they are doing right for their country, but at the same time they are people that fear loosing control of the modern age, the future. They are not aware of what is coming, only that they must survive the now at whatever cost because they've been chosen to be the future.


There is an anti-hero known as Shroudedhost that has evolved beyond human, he is secretly building an army of Evos to fight back against the hunters — but his agenda doesn't stop there, he also wants to rid the world of humans and heroes that don't share in his vision. He believes in the coming evolution, he believes he is the first of the Evos to fully evolve, therefore he has a greater understanding of what Evos will become. In his vision, his world, there is no room for weak humans, and the only way evolution can be accepted is if Evos come out of hiding and unite as one people, one master race...one world.


You will not only be living in secret from your family and friends but also from the government and those that want to harm you or recruit you into their cause. You will be free to choose a side, Awakens, Hunters, or Shrouded Minions. Whatever side you choose, make sure it is the winning side!



Rules

• No canon characters allowed, only original characters please.
  
• This RP is Detail/Casual so try to post once a week at least 3 paragraphs per post.
  
• Please be civilized and respect each other OOC. Don’t take IC conflict personal.
  
• Site rules apply.
  
• Basic RP rules apply; no godmodding, no metagaming, etc.
  
• This is a RP with super powers so please try to keep things reasonable and fairly — combat is predetermined between the players involved.
  
• One unique power per character. (Exceptions need GM approval.)
  
• Try to stay active, and if something comes up try to give me a heads up if possible.
  
• Romance is allowed, keep it PG13.
  
• This is set in the real world so try to keep things somewhat realistic.
  
• You can have as many characters as you can keep up with/have a profile for, NPC's don't require one obviously.
