Futuristic Blood Arena

You live on the continent of Ubboth in the city of Loxton which is the only safe place to live after the biological and mechanical infestation broke out after two major companies around the world were shut down due to 'being unethical and unnecessary'. After being shut down both Hummingbird Technologies and Globe works released all failed projects into the wild to let roam free as a sense of getting back at the world for rejecting them. This didn't come without consequences, after a hand full of years passed the released creatures came back and destroyed all the cities that weren't barricaded up leaving only the city of Loxton safe because the Ubboth leader at the time fell to the odd man rule, if all others assume it won't happen, then the last person must assume it will. Many years have passed since then and the way that Loxton decided to handle some of the easy infestation of biological and mechanical creatures was to set an arena up and let the public kill them for sport, which founded the Bloodstain Amphitheater and a game named Blood Arena. Originally it was set up as a test to the public to see if they would be interested in seeing what is outside the city, and with shocking results they had loved it and the Bloodstain Amphitheater is still in full swing to this day in the year 22,500 and has been going on for the past 150 years.The champions for the Bloodstain Arena also fight outside of the city and hold a high chance to die in the process if they don't work together to clear out the area to help expand the city far enough to say that the continent is clean again. The big project of everything is to have the world cleaned of all the creatures that were failed experiments and be able to live in peace again.
