Personality: Jackal is a content 'man' who runs the show with a 'happy' attitude. However, he is capable of snapping and ripping someone's head off, quiet literally, if he even so much as hears or sees something he doesn't like. It doesn't take long for him to get something going to keep people entertained, and he does a fine job keeping himself occupied; always.


Short Bio: Every year, the carnival comes to different towns, taking what it wants, and then leaves after doing an excellent job of making everyone forget about the carnival altogether. Now the carnival has hit a small town in Nebraska, and Jackal has the honor of overseeing it. He gladly accepted the role, and immediately went to work on getting people to come so that he may 'pay' his underlings. When word got out of the missing thrill seekers, and less and less people came, things became tough. Though, when he caught wind of this dare, he figured this would be a good way to provide entertainment; more so for the staff than the suckers.

Personality: Very spunky, and struggles with keeping her mouth closed. When she is actually friends with someone she is extremely loyal. However, if she is not, she can be extremely slippery. She can't stand her hair down, so she always keeps it up in some way. She is also a runner and loves it.


Short Bio: She had a school fight with one of the girls at school, telling each other how wimpish they were. The other girl ended up daring Gwen to stay in the circus for a certain period of time. Gwen, accepted without hesitation. She is just now starting to regret her decision as she looks at the 'show'.

Name: Trevor Norvbecc

Personality: Trevor has been known to be spiteful and easily lose his temper towards anyone. Short fused, bashful, hate-filled, and may other words have labeled him, but deep within the armored shell, a broken and sad heart hangs... A side of himself he has tried to get rid of since he doesn't like others seeming him as such. However, this can be easily detected from the music he listens to...


Short Bio: Trevor wasn't the most liked person in town, and especially not at his college. He didn't care one bit though; he wasn't there for friends anyways. One day, one of the other students truly had enough of his hateful attitude and dared him to go to carnival; hoping he would die at it. At first, Trevor refused to go, so the other student started making fun of him, saying he was scared and seeing that his attitude was really an act. That was enough to get Trevor's blood pumping and heated. He finally accepted the dare, but also promised that when he got back, he was going to kick his ass. One whole day and night at a stupid carnival, how hard could that even be?

He can control any of his body parts and take them off as well as rettatch them. He can also turn corpses into dolls that he can control. There are silver strings attached to his fingers that are attached to the puppets limbs. He heals fast but can still be killed if stabbed in the heart.

Personality:


Alice is a dementedly cheerful person who loves to play. He is always smiling and has an air of innocence about him that he uses to manipulate others. He's a very good actor and puts on a great show. He doesn't trust easily but toward those he does trust he is protective of and loyal toward. So even though he can be cruel he can also be kind.


Short Bio:


Alice never met his mother as she left him with his father after giving birth to him. His father an undertaker was fascinated with life and death and encouraged Alice in whatever he did. When he was eight he chopped off his thumb by accident while trying to cook and found it wasn't painful and he could control it. After that he began practicing and his father who had been there encouraged him and showed his support. He met the circus at 16 and joined. His father went home. There he discovered his hidden dark side.

Name: Ariadne Tesar

Gender: Female


Personality: Ariadne is, very simply put, a prankster. She loves pulling pranks, and completely confusing others. She is also quite friendly, so long as your okay with her behavior. She often targets those that are quiet, generally grumpy, or withdrawn from the main crowd, in attempts to get them to open up and have some fun. at parties, she could be considered the life of it, and always tries to get everyone in on the fun. She's generally fun-loving, but there are times when she grows serious. She's not one most would like to be near then.


Short Bio: She lost at a card game to her older brother a while before the carnival came to town. Her brother was given free range to pick a punishment for her as the loser, and he decided to wait and choose one at a later time. That was perfectly fine by the rules, and by Ariadne. Whatever the punishment was, it couldn't be all that bad after all. When the Carnival came to town, word of the dare going around found her brother, and low and behold, he dared her with it as her punishment. She accepted the dare, thinking it would be easy and all fun-and-games.

Name: Nameless (Yup, that's her name.)


Age: 6 (The spirit is 19)


Gender: Female


Race: Trapped Soul/Human


Position: Her human form is a little girl, but she is one of the carnival animals. Her animal form is a white tiger. Her tamer changes every show the carnival puts on.


Personality: Nameless rarely talks. She is calm and very smart and never shows her emotions. Her intentions are unknown and the trapped soul that controls the human form is actually male. Nameless can't show sympathy, this is one thing that makes her an animal.


Short Bio: The trapped spirit died when the host was only four. Finding the girl, he took over and controlled her from there on out. Upon joining the carnival, he was able to alter the girls form into a white tiger. Her human form is rarely seen due to the spirit not wanting anyone to recognize the girl.

Personality: Nothing makes her happier then everything going according to plan. When she puts her mind to it, she is capable of accomplishing nearly anything... just don't piss her off, or there will be consequences beyond all imagination.


Short Bio: She has traveled with the carnival for almost as long as it has been under Jack's command, ensuring that things run as smoothly as possible. She was born a demon with an affinity for fire, and uses these talents to both horrify and delight within her act.

Name: The Twins (Left and Right)


Age: 16 (well, ageless)


Gender: Left identifies as male, Right as female.


Race: Two-head


A particular type of manmade undead constructed from two people. As the name suggests, frequently two-headed. The heads must cooperate in order to move the body.


Position: Freak


Personality: Both are quiet and withdrawn, whispering constantly to each other. They dislike being touched and bright lights.


On the rare occasions when they interact with others, Left is nervously polite, whereas Right tends to just blurt stuff out. The twins have a very odd sense of humour, frequently setting up disturbing practical jokes around their cage. This is probably why most of the staff take lengthy detours around it. They also have quite a few rituals that they keep to religiously; for example, anyone who wants to come inside their cage has to answer one of Right's macabre riddles.


Short bio: They have been with the Carnival for as long as they can remember, and view Jack as something between a father figure and an angry god. Although they live in a locked cage, they have the key. They just don't like interacting with other people.


Appearance: A short, scrawny adolescent with two heads and many stitches. The twins both have bleached, pale brown hair, although Right's is slightly longer. They are nearly identical. They dress in loose, faded clothing to hide their biological gender. They are always barefoot.

Name: Corzek

Race: Shadow-possessor


Position: Illusionist


Personality: Corzek is something of a parasite as it can possess any human that is on the brink of death. It will keep the human alive for anywhere between 3 to 5 years longer. When possessed, the human no longer has any free will over his or her body and no thought process. Corzek from that point controls everything until the body breaks and decays.


Short Bio: Corzek had been founded by Jackal before Jackal became the host and Ring Master. It was no question that a talent like Corzek's would be needed at that carnival. From there, Corzek had taken the body of one of the few first people taken away. Corzek tortured the body and mind off the poor teen before finally talking it over. The body had been possessed for nearly two years now, malnutritioned and slightly mistreated. The body is now just a husk of its former glory; being so skinny and malnutritioned that there was next to no fat in the body. Even with that being true, Corzek still kept it being able to move and function.

Race: Arachnida Lady (Spider Lady)


Position: Aerial Silkist, Tightrope walker.


Personality: Synthia is a very cynical, seductive woman who isn't afraid to be very upfront and forward with people. She loves when things go her way and hates when they don't. She is not someone you want to be around when she's angry, because she will literally rope you up and then rip your head off like a Black Widow would rip the head's off it's mates when they are done. She's sarcastic and stubborn, and always has a sassy comeback to everything.


Short Bio: She's been with the Carnival ever since Jack came up to her with the idea and told her about part of his plan. She agreed without a second thought because it sounded like a wonderful idea and deal. Eventually however when less people came to see the show, she started to get more irritated and angry and often snapped at the other performers, not once did she snap at Jack because she knows the consequences of trying to mess with Jack, she's seen it before and can't say she's seen anything hotter.
