Mira La'Mar​

Personality​

Mira is quite a strange mix of everything when it involves her personality. For the most part, she prefers to remain quite and reserved around others and will not open up unless there is a real need for it. She can be quite sweet and kind to those she comes across but is ready at any moment to slip out her silver tongue or sharp words when needed. While she prefers her music to having conversation, the recent weeks have left her with a dead phone and a need for human contact. Sometimes, her emotions get the best of her and she can be irrational or act on impulse. That can lead to confrontation—which she greatly dislikes. If at all possible, she will avoid being along with others as she’s got such distrust for them.

Background​

Mira wasn’t used to living in a big city when she moved out of her mother’s house. Having lived in a small, quiet town as a child, the life within a large city is what she wanted.

When she was younger, Mira was always made fun of in school. She was pretty average, had a couple friends, got good grades, and even got a date to prom, but there was something about her that made her the scapegoat for everyone’s evil high school fantasies. Wanted to shove someone in a locker? You found Mira. Wanted to have someone do your homework? You found Mira. Needed to cheat on a test? You found Mira. Wanted to spread dirty rumors and cause drama? You talked about Mira. She wasn’t sure what made her so different than all the other kids, but she was the one that they all picked on. She would brush it off as them being funny and help them the next time they needed it. She was stupid like that.

Because of the way her birthday fell within the year (Two months after the cutoff registrations for the year so she started school a year after like a lot of kids) Mira turned eighteen a few months before graduation. Well, as a present, some of the popular girls invited Mira to a graduation party in April. It was a little early, but Mira went anyway. It turned out it was just a few girls and her. They wanted to torment her one last time before they all graduated. Mira ended up being locked in the trunk of a car for almost six hours before someone called the police because of crying being heard inside.

Since then, she’s never really trusted anyone. She moved out of the town only a few weeks later. Because of the circumstances, she dropped out of high school and ended up later having to get her GED. Now she lives in a small apartment by herself in a big city so she can’t be singled out anymore. She goes the therapy once every two weeks and writes in her journal. She worked for a publishing company editing books.

• Personality
  Denny is a very spiteful person. He takes advantage of others, as well as manipulates them. and loves to see harm done to others. He harbors a long held, strong hate for humans, and that affects the way he socializes with them. He's cold and honest. He doesn't have a thought for others feelings. Denny is sarcastic and very stubborn. However, deep deep deep down, he has potential to care about others and become protective for them.
• Background
  Denizio Tyrone Valtrone was created exactly on the year 0 A.C. He was a demon and he had his own little section of the world to take care of. 2,014 is actually a fairly young demon, so he was still below some of the older ones. They looked down on him. However, Denizio was power hungry. He wanted more respect and more power. In attempts to accomplish these things he created a terrible plague and cast it down on the humans. He hated humans. He hated their communities and they way they lived. He wanted this plague to destroy them.
  
  Unfortunately, for Denizio his plague went too far. The older demons interfered, and they decided that it was too much, and Denizio no longer deserved sitting upon his own throne. They cast Denizio down onto Earth and trapped him into his human form. Denizio was to live out the rest of his life as a human, much to his disgust.
  
  The plague had been going on for a couple months already when Denny arrived on Earth. He was weakened greatly, losing many of his powers. He still had some of the essential demon powers, but he was nothing compared to what he was before.
  
  Denny started kidnapping humans and feeding on their emotions to keep himself alive. He did this many times until he found a group of humans that could help him with his human needs. He started stealing food from them and feeding off their emotions in their nightmares. After a little while of doing this, the group found out about his stealing and got angry with him. So they ended up tying him up and watching him starve to death. Now Denny waits for an escape.
  
• Powers
  Feeding on Emotions:
  

  • Emotion Detection allows Denizio to sense the emotions of others within his vicinity.
    • Stronger emotions are more present. Most of the time he depends on natural senses.
    • Denizio typically only recognizes negative emotions through this power, as they are more familiar to him.
  • Emotion Absorption allows Denizio to drain emotions from others and place it inside himself as a means of fulfillment/Emotion Metabolization means Denizio must feed off others' negative emotions. It is how he sustains his demonic hunger. Feeding off of negative emotions empowers him, which gives access to more of his demonic abilities.
    • Denizio will starve if he doesn't feed.
      • Consequences of going too long without feeding: Unknown
      • How long can he go without feeding: Unknown (He hasn't been motivated to find out.)
    • Others suffer from his feedings.
      • Sustained feedings induce paranoia and other negative emotions in humans, which of course, makes them easier to feed off of.
      • Frequent and consistent feedings will presumably drive a human insane. (They've usually already ended up dead--truthfully, killed--before they near this point.)
      • Killing others quickly fulfills this demonic hunger (Humans have a lot of negative emotions before he kills them, so that makes for a good meal.)
    • Denizio doesn't need physical contact to feed, just enough focus
