Adding Signatures

You will notice that creating a signature is pretty simple once you give it a try.


Please note: this will also work for animated images as long as the link you are using is in fact animated.


Step 1: Select "Signature" from your control panel (by clicking your name on the top right).

Step 2: Once you select signature, you can style it just like you would any post. If you want to add an image, you need to obtain a link from the world wide web. Simply click the image icon to add the click.

That's it! Although my signature may change form time to time, the results below should be similar!

i know it's a stretch commenting this, but the layout has changed since then, and i am a giant n00b. there's no longer a 'signature' tab under the control panel, and i have scoured the settings pages for where it could be now. any help?

Signature will be under your name's dropdown menu, directly under personal details. Once you click it you can change it any way you want to. However, gifs do not work.

for some reason for me it isn't. i wish i could add a picture but again, I'm a newb and i don't know how that would work. but in my instance, right under my name it goes "Personal Details" and then "Post Macros"?

Huh. That doesn't make much sense. Have you tried going into personal details? There's a column on the side that you can also find it in, perhaps it's there?

Nope, it's not there either. It might be because I'm new? i haven't even passed the mandatory 24 hour thing. think that could be it?

It might be. But I don't know for sure. I thought I had seen other new users with signatures, but I might be mistaken. If it doesn't show up after your 24 hours, I'd ask a mod or the admins. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
