It's not everyday you're being rescued by a kind stranger and taken care of until your nursed back to health. Nor is it a daily occurrence that said person decides to allow you stay with them for as long as you need. It's especially not a normal encounter to fall in love with that person, especially when you're not even human. That's exactly what Ia-Lu did. He'd been cared for when his own family abandoned him, loved when no one else loved him, and returned that love with all his might, despite it not being the love he wished for it to be. Now there's another in his master's life, another human man... one that wishes to mate with his master. What's he do but run off in a huff? It's not like Ia-lu can actually mate with his master regardless... that would be wrong.

Niall had always been the misfit, underling and reject. He was imperfect, something he was constantly reminded of on a daily basis. He was never determined to change that fate though. He was perfectly content with being unloved, unwanted and to put it frankly, free. That is until he met the most beautiful person he'd ever laid his eyes on. It wasn't the person's outward beauty that struck Niall the most, it was the fact that at first glance the boy had managed to overlook his personal flaws, the piercings, the painted nails and dyed hair, all things that would normally make people stay clear of him. Not this boy. Overtime they'd formed a sort of relationship and then it transformed into a more romantically inclined one. They'd shared their first kiss, something that had left Niall speechless for the rest of the night. He'd kissed plenty of people, sure, despite being the delinquent that everyone loathed, he was by no mean a virgin to those types of things. But this kiss had made his whole world come crashing down, shattering his reality and then reforming it to the perfect image to what was the boy he constantly thought of. His forever.

Ameti had just started to move out into the world as he stepped across a wounded wolf. Feeling sorry for the poor creature, he took the poor male in, nursing him back to full health. Through sickness and just rough times, that wolf was always there for him. At any chance to run away, he didn't. Their bond was unbreakable, or so it seemed. One night, he went out and hadn't returned for hours on end. Ameti had found someone to cherish, another male in which he found himself tripping over his own two feet for. Soon, he'd bring the male home, and he'd spend more and more time with the male, slightly breaking away from his bond with his companion he loved so dearly.
