it has always been minho and yuto together. ever since minho could remember, his older brother had always been there to protect him. being three years older than him, yuto was the perfect hyung to him. he encouraged him to pursue in his dreams and to keep on swimming. however, even with the perfect brother didn't mean they had the perfect family. their mother died when minho was four and after that, their father became an alcoholic. when he was six, his father knocked him out cold in one punch. but yuto was there to care for him. the abuse continued the more their father drank. and little by little, yuto was suddenly not there to protect him anymore.

not wanting to go home, minho spent most of his time making friends and pushing his way into friendship circles so he could be invited to parties and sleepovers. when he finally got a girlfriend, he spent most nights sneaking into her bedroom so he could cuddle with her until it was time to get up and get ready for the day (sneaking out of her house before her parents found out). he kept pursuing with his swimming and was apart of the swim team, winning medals and awards left, right and centre. however, there were rare occasions where he would rock up to finals or practices with large bruises on his body. he would claim that he was learning how to do a bunny hop on his bike (which was true - the boy rode his bike everywhere and was often seen trying to do tricks without any safety gear on). but rumours began to spread. and he had to extinguish them before they could reach back to his father.
