The Death Weapon Meister Academy. Popularly known as the DWMA. It is an institution to train weapons and meisters, established by Death, to prevent Kishin, the demon gods who plunged the entire world into the depths of terror, drove people into a maelstrom of madness, and nearly destroyed everything from ever being born again. The gist of it is, it's an organization of justice, to keep the peace. Both a supernatural police force and an academy for budding Meisters and Demon Weapons.

The school was founded by the one and only Lord Death, the literal shinigami and founder of Death City, his soul rooted into the metropolis after defeating the Kishin Asura many years prior. Since then, the city has blossomed around him and the DWMA, giving the students there- a collection of preteens and teens from around the world- a beautiful environment to learn the necessary skills of defending the world from evil in.

Unfortunately, nothing is that simple. The Kishin Asura, while trapped in a bag of his own skin, is not dead. It takes much more than that to kill him. All he needs is a little push, and the world will be engulfed in Madness, in fear, in despair.

But the EAT Class- the group of teenagers that sit in the top 10% as the Especially Advantaged Talent class- aren't going to just sit by and let that happen.

Who will win the fight? That's up to you to find out.

Setting

Your character will be a student at the Death Weapon Meister Academy in Death City, Nevada, in particular a student in the E.A.T. class. What reason you're there- your intellect, your speed, your strength, your soul, or your overall badassery- is irrelevant. You're there, and you're thus given the duties to hunt down Kishin eggs and witches, along with others that threaten the peace, as well as complete class at the DWMA.


You'll be fighting all sorts of creeps and bleeps of various shapes and sizes, and as this is just as character-driven as it is badass-partner-fight-scene driven, you'll be changing- both physically (lost limbs? you never know) and emotionally.

The DWMA

A massive building and beautiful work of architecture, the DWMA is the centerpiece of the city. Maintained by funds from around the world thanks to its international reach and power, the school is rather luxurious. A large building full of classrooms, it also includes dormitories and all the facilities of a normal school, but rented apartments are available throughout the city. The DWMA provides a weekly $200 "allowance" to DWMA students, but unfortunately high-schoolers have difficulty preserving that money throughout the week (especially with inflation lol) so many DWMA students take jobs after-school and during the weekends.

Deathbucks Cafe

Much like Starbucks but with more death, the cafe serves quality coffee brewed by the master. Students regard the cafe as a meeting place of sorts, a small joint where they can get a cup of joe and hang out after classes have finished.

Death Robbins and 42 Ice Cream

Much like Baskin Robbins but with more death (and one more flavor), Death Robbins proudly serves 42 incredible ice cream flavors with rather low prices.

Deathstaurant

A posh French restaurant and an excellent place to ask somebody to a date to, the Deathstaurant has prices high enough to blow through a weekly allowance in one meal, but makes up for that with its quality food.

Death Square

Right down the road from the DWMA, the Death Square is a nice open space for hanging out and enjoying the sun. It leads into several small marketplaces, like the Death Bazaar and the Death Pain Square.

And Much More

Death City holds everything a city would need. Casinos (it is near Las Vegas after all), bars, movie theaters, playhouses, as well as courts for games such as basketball, soccer, and a community pool, and even an airport are located in the city.

Rules and Regulations

Please, please read all the rules listed below. I know this isn't the fun part, but it's imperative in order

I. Know Some Soul Eater

I don't need you to have seen the anime a bajillion times and read all the manga. But at least have a basic idea of Soul Eater and its universe. I'm more than willing to help explain anything that you need clarified, but I'm not willing to go through the whole universe. If you haven't seen it, consider checking out some episodes before coming back.

II. Be Able To Roleplay

You don't have to be a writing god or a BBCode whiz. Hell, if you can't write more than 2 paragraphs at a time before getting agita, that's fine too. But you should be able to go for AT LEAST 1-2 paragraphs (hopefully, more will just flow out), and know about godmodding and power-playing and how that's BAD. big no-no. don't do that.

III. Stay Alive

I know y'all are busy with real life, so I'm giving you tons of leeway with this (as I always do). Don't take that for granted. If i give you a warning and you continue to drag the RP behind, you will be booted without notice and replaced immediately. Don't be that guy. I'm yet to boot somebody for inactivity, and I don't want to, but I will.

IV. Grammar is key

I also happen to know that not everybody on RPN is an English major. A solid chunk aren't even native English, for all I know. I'm more than willing to compromise with minor mistakes- I don't even capitalize half of my sentences when I'm typing OOC myself, so I'm no stranger to that. But if ur p osts stert to read l8k thiis consastently, I will remove you.

V. Don't be a jerk

You know, if I rag on you for the above, it's no hard feelings or anything, I'm just trying to make the RP go along smoothly. But I will not tolerate any childish behavior, including unwarranted and rude behavior towards others, whether IC or OOC. If I sense this, you will be removed. If you have a problem with somebody else, please immediately speak to me.

And if you feel like I'M being insensitive, please talk to me about that. I only want the best for everybody and I know I'm not perfect.

VI. Don't be God

When I say this, it's not in the sense of godmodding, but with you making stuff up that dramatically changes the storyline. If you have any input to the story and lore, talk to me. I'm sure I'd love to hear what you have to say.

VII. Keep it safe

By this, I mean no bad stuff, especially in the romance category. As a very slice-of-life heavy RP, there will be relationships explored throughout it, but please keep in PG-13. These are teens, I'm not getting arrested for any of your shenanigans lol. The same goes for violence- there will be plenty of blood and gore, but no extensive descriptions of that please. Some people are sensitive to that (see rule V).

Meisters
Meisters are beings who can utilize their soul wavelength to wield Demon Weapons, channeling their soul through the weapon and using it as a tool for justice to defend the lands.


Don't think Meisters are just some guys with weapons, however. These individuals are not just soldiers- they are powerful warriors, combing athleticism, intellect, their soul wavelength, and a good measure of kick-ass to analyze and adapt to the situation at hand, using every tool in their arsenal to come out on top.

For the purposes of this RP, Meisters must meet the following requirements-
Any being with a soul (including werewolves, witches, and shinigami) can be Meisters. (Please PM me before using the last one.)
Meisters should not be immortal
Meisters should be athletic and highly durable
Meisters should be able to fight without their weapon
Meisters should not be able to perform Soul Resonance without their weapon


Demon Weapons
Demon Weapons are magical beings able to transform into an actual weapon, wield-able by a Meister with a matching wavelength. These weapons are not just swords or guns,though, they are powerful tools capable of executing magical attacks with the power of their soul wavelength.

For the purposes of this RP, Demon Weapons must meet the following requirements-
Demon weapons should only have one form (please speak to me if you think otherwise)
Demon weapons should not be able to turn into a pair of weapons alone.
Demon weapons should feel pain, even in their weapon forms.
Demon weapons can be able to fight on their own as an autonomous weapon.
Demon weapons should not be able to execute soul resonance without their Meister.



Teamwork
I mean, the anime/manga was all about superpowered teens defying the laws of physics in their eternal fight against evil, but I'd like to establish a quick couple ground rules.


Fight Scenes: During a fight scene, the meister will be given greater autonomy once your weapon has transformed. They will be making most of the calls. That being said, the Demon Weapon will be able to and should communicate with their Meister during the fights. Demon weapons also call the shots on any "special attacks," or abilities that are not outside of the weapon's basic attack (i.e. if your weapon is a flaming sword, a special attack could be firin' it up). Soul resonance requires full cooperation from all parties to use.

PvE: If I label enemies as "fodder", you will be allowed to autohit and instantly kill them in any spectacle you choose. You don't need to verify your hits with me.

PvP: For enemies I label as "Capable" as well as other players, you must not assume any attacks hit. Standard RP fight rules apply here. Don't be annoying about losing- losing is definitely greater of an experience in an RP than winning. Suck it up, my guy. It's not even real.

For this RP, you can either go solo and create both your meister and demon weapons, or just create one and team up with somebody else. I'd advise the latter. It's less of a toll when it comes to writing, and it's a better experience imo.

Tomoki possesses a highly sarcastic and great sense of humor that irritates and annoys most people. He regularly insults and belittles his enemies to his own godury. He feels no shame and can make a joke out of any situation. Despite his initial immaturity, Tomoki is a genuine, soft, good-hearted man. He is quick to act without thinking and is very impulsive. Tomoki is a friendly but shy and awkward individual; he is happy to talk but often stumbles on his own words in a conversation.

Brief Bio
While contentedly walking through an alley after a good dinner at the infamous Deathsteraunt, Tomoki and his parents were threatened by a random burglar with a kishin egg who demanded the gold watch that his father was wearing. Rather than simply give into the criminal's wicked demands, Tomoki's parent's attempted to fight the thief off, but their attempt was futile and his dad and mom were murdered before his innocent eyes. He since then has raised himself. Tomoki had very few friends in his childhood.

Being that his dad was a Weapon and his mom was a Meister he later found out he was a Weapon. A scythe. And has trained diligently ever since to become a powerful Weapon and maybe some day surpass his father in power.

When Tomoki became old enough to attend Death Weapon Meister Academy he couldn't wait to attend it. He knew he would learn so much more about Weapons and Meister and he would finally get a partner. Not to mention he would get the chance to kill creatures and people consumed by kishin eggs, the things that killed his parents.

Appearance: Standing at a whopping 5'2" and owning quite the lithe body, Vivian is not really much of a threat at first sight. Her mid-length purple hair stands out a lot alongside her brown eyes that are dangerously close to having shades of red. In terms of wear, Vivi tends to adapt her clothing choice depending on where she is going. School and battle will both have the same outfit, although she tends to dress more casually during free time.

Personality:
Observant, hardworking but incredibly snarky/impish, Vivian is known as a demon in disguise to most of her friends and acquaintances. While she shows utmost respect and admiration towards and possible teacher or instructor, Vivi gains joy out of teasing her companions whenever she deems fit. Sarcasm and very bad jokes are her best friend, mostly because she cannot get enough from seeing other people dwindle down from cringe. Vivian has a very odd sense of humour, to say the least.

Being chaotic at heart, Vivi is not one known to be very organized in her way of living. Being late and forgetting about assignments/agreements is not an irregular behaviour, although she obviously has done her best not to slack off. She is simply a little too carefree at times, often feeling like she can get out underneath the punishment by making up excuses and being overly kind to anyone that may be of her assistance. Manipulation, deception and theatric antics are tools she does not utilize maliciously in any way, but when she requires something they do sometimes come looking around the corner.

Vivian has naturally been quite sociable and good at teamwork, which has helped her considerably during her training. She tends to be a bit more serious during anything to do with combat, placing her in a position where she is direct yet simultaneously compliant when necessary. It is notable to say that compliance does not equal silence for her, for she is not even slightly afraid of speaking her mind. It's just that she's alright with fulfilling both the position of leader and being lead, although she prefers mutual cooperation rather than such a structure.

Those who are bold enough to voluntarily expose themselves to bad jokes and teasing may quite quickly find themselves seeing Vivian's better qualities. Yes, she may not be the most punctual person around and might miss a meetup by oversleeping, but she is very protective and empathic towards anyone that she takes a liking of. She's good-natured and helpful, meaning that she will help a friend in need even if it negatively benefits herself.

Although she isn't dumb, Vivian does have a few troubles with tactics and planning ahead. In the heat of battle, Vivian tends to start focusing more so on taking out individual opponents rather than actually assuring her very own safety. Tunnelvision, impatience and reckless decisions have placed her in dangerous positions before, and it would not be all that odd for it to happen again.

Coming from a Meister bloodline of varying strength, Vivi was basically born to eventually become a meister as well. She spent her first years rather normally, albeit primarily alone considering she was an only child. Luckily, friends came along the road as well as various pets and hobbies that kept her busy throughout the day.

Despite both of her parents being away, for the most part, Vivian was raised stably with the help of her grandparents and other family members. The young girl did not really have to face much trouble, although she did face a lacking relationship with both of her parents. She felt more at home at her grandparents' home and could talk and interact much more casually with them than her very own parents. It was difficult at times, but Vivi realised that her parents were busy for a very good reason. She still ended up admiring them and knew quite quickly that she also wanted to follow in their footsteps as a meister.

Growing older, Vivi eventually enrolled into the academy as a NOT student. It didn't take too long for her to uphold her family's standards, for she would eventually ascend to the EAT class upon proving her capabilities. Despite becoming a part of the top 10%, Vivi has not made all that much of a reputation for herself when compared to others at her level. She still has a lot to learn, but she is and always has luckily been willing to do her best to achieve better results.

Physicality:
Corvinus stands at an extremely lanky 6'1", with not much body weight to distribute, he walks around looking a bit like a blonde skeleton. He has a mop of hair that he refuses to cut or style which simply falls along its natural part and around his ears, making him look rather disheveled. His eyes are a misty blue color, they very rarely seem to focus on anything, and instead seem to wander constantly.


Personality:
Quite simply, Corvinus is much more relaxed than he should be. Nothing seems to phase him, every assignment and mission might as well be a trip to the store rather than a potential opportunity for failure. This nonchalant attitude has often gotten him in serious trouble with teachers, as his tardiness, deadpan tone, and fondness for hand-rolled cigarettes, land him in the disciplinary office on a regular basis. He is more popular with students, who appreciate the levelness of his attitudes or enjoy seeing him get in trouble with the teachers. He has a remarkable talent for odd people, as he doesn't appear to be bothered by them, but rather sees them as rare information to be gained. In spite of his laid-back ways, he is very efficient in his work and excels in many subjects. He is notable for his love of history and tactics, a love which can be displayed to great effect during missions.


Bio:
The Corvinus family has far-reaching aristocratic roots going back centuries in eastern Europe. Most notable in their lineage was Matyas Corvinus, the Hungarian king who defeated and imprisoned Dracula when he was at the height of his impaling fury. This demon hunting gift is not lost on the modern family, and when their son showed signs of being a Demon Weapon, they rushed to educate him. For much of his young life, Matthias studied history and the occult day in and day out. Some time was spent on physical training but to the Corvinus family, knowledge was far more important. It is perhaps this cloistered childhood that led to Matthias's present personality being rather stunted. Upon joining the academy he immediately proved to be a difficult case, as his grades and performance were fine, but his attitude was another matter entirely.


Abilities:
Matthias is able to transform himself into a flamberge, or flame-bladed sword. The weapon is as unorthodox as he is, and can be difficult to handle, even for people he resonates with. The blade of the sword occasionally flickers with actual firey sparks, though he writes this off as more of a coincidence than an actually usable trait. He cannot currently perform partial transformations.


While in weapon form, the blade of the flamberge emits a trail white smoke. This acts as a purifying agent, which can slowly weaken an evil soul that inhales it. Additionally, a cloud of the stuff can ward off the effects of some curses and other hostile magic, this ability is only as strong as the meister's ability to make the blade produce smoke to act as a ward via swinging it, as opposed to a passive shield which can be used at any time. Like the flamberge itself, this smoke ability is difficult to make use of, even by those who resonate with Matthias.

Extra: Nobody is sure what is in the cigarettes which Matthias has such a fondness for. They have been confirmed by the school nurse and chemistry teacher to not be tobacco, though their actual content is a mystery. Confusing matters more, the smell they produce changes daily, though it is always a subtle, warm aroma, like a hearth fire or stick of incense.

Standing at 5'11, Yori has an athletic body-type. The shadows around his eyes and sharp gaze gives him a resting face that always looks off-putting or intimidating. He has dark brown eyes and black, messy hair. His clothing style is basically sleeveless shirts.


Personality:
If others described Yori, they would talk about his quietness, or how even when included in a conversation, his attention would be somewhere else. When he does talk, it's in one-word answers, or he speaks through his facial expressions. Simply put, Yori isn't very good with people. He's not an introvert, exactly, but has severe trust issues.

He doesn't have much to say to his fellow classmates because he doesn't trust them enough to say anything meaningful Empty words are a waste of his, and everybody else's, time. He would rather keep to himself. He carries this attitude into his schoolwork, and is mostly disliked by his teachers for doing just enough not to fail but not what he's capable of.

Yori's biggest flaw is that he's too careful. He won't rush into a battle until he's assessed the situation first, and even then he may hang back for longer then he should, costing any group he's in precious seconds. In other words, he thinks too much.

Biography:
Yori is the son of Naomi and Masato Nagahara, a meister-weapon pair who graduated at the top of their class at the DWMA. When Yori was a baby, his parents were sent on a mission to eliminate a witch who was using her magic to kill humans. They were unsuccessful, and lost their lives in the battle. From then on, Yori was raised by his grandmother.

Considering who his parents were, enrolling at the DWMA was never a choice for Yori. He grew up hearing about his parents bravery, and how he would become a worthy successor to them one day, as a meister or weapon. Enrolling was just something he was told he always going to do, so he did.

6'2, jet black hair, and a strange set of oh pink eyes. Damien is no normal person that's for sure. Although he was once very short it took no time at all for his genetics to take to their full potential. When first meeting him, it might be the way his eyes seem to gaze into your soul, or maybe even the way his large broad stature over powers that of even some adults, but he just seems... Well, intimidating. Little truly fear him, but when it comes down to it most of the people he's met find the words they've grown to accustomed to using disappear at first glance towards Damien. He had ear piercings on both ears, and can always be found wearing some type of jewelry.


Personality
Damien, if one word were to describe him, it would be off. There is just something... Not quite right about this guy. Maybe it's the sick pleasure he gets from fighting, or his demented morals and sense of humor, but he's just off-putting. He doesn't have many friends, not because he doesn't try, it's just that most people can't handle his goals and personality. If one were to look at his soul, that'd instantly look away due to just how.... Wrong it is. Something about him... Seems almost demonic.



But he isn't evil, or bad. He just has a different agenda than most people. He very outgoing, he says that not doing what you want is a byproduct of not living your life, so he'd rather keep living his life the way he wants to. Damien is also quite stubborn, to a point that's it's almost irritating. He just plain and simple doesn't like giving up. He loves a challenge, so when he has his eyes set on something, he keeps his vision narrow on that thing.


Brief Bio
Damien was born in the witches realm, his mother being a member of the witch order. And his father, a Demon Weapon, and an old member of DWMA. While the two were enemies yes, when his father tried to hunt his mother, he instead found himself infatuated by her, and vise versa. After many attempts at hunting her, where Damiens father, Luciel, purposely made it so that they failed, they finally caught her, the witch Mal’damba. But he still refused to kill her. Luciels Meister called him a traitor, and attempted kill Mal’damba himself, but was knocked unconscious by Luciel. Luciel and Mal’damba ran away together, both seen as traitors to their homes. But they couldn’t run away forever.


Now deep into her pregnancy, Mal’damba watched in horror as Luciel was killed by her own sisters. Mal’damba fought, but in the end was killed as well. Before the sisters could report back to their mother…. Damien was born, right from the body of his dead mother. The sisters, unsure what to do, brought the baby back to their mother. While she originally planned on killing the child, felt grievance upon seeing the child as she was reminded of her own daughter, decided to let him live.


Damien was then on raised by his three aunts, and his grandmother. Although there instantly something noticeably wrong with the child. His pull to magic was strong, very strong, he began learning magic without even being asked, reading grimoire so that he could utilize magic, so the pull only grew. But for some reason… he could not perform magic. He read the grimoire, he learned the spells, but it was like his body refused to allow him to do it. It wasn’t like he wasn’t learning, as the pull twisted and shifted his mind more and more, but he just could not perform magic. The reason as to why became very clear, as he reached his 17th birthday… and transformed into a Death weapon.


His heritage had been hidden mostly, only a few witches knew who he was, but it couldn’t be hidden for long. During one of his frustrating practices, Damien found his hand turn leatherish, and a red eye focused on the back of his palm. Paper lined against the front of it, and words in a strange language were clear. He was a Sorcerer, but the reason why he could never perform magic was because the spells he’d learned were locked away into his subconscious, pulled onto pen and paper to his Demon weapon form. The order was not pleased, not at all. Damien and his family were sent on trial, not only for his heritage but for the sisters and their mother lying about what truly happened when they hunted down their sister and her lover. But before the trial would come to an and, hanging every member of the family, one of the Witch Judges came to a proposal.


If Damien entered DWMA, applying as a death weapon with a false background, they’d let the family live. He would act as an infiltration agent, reporting everything that happened back to the Order. And Damien agreed without hesitation. And thus, he set off for Death Weapon Meister Academy. Although… his plans are very different than what they ordered him. Damien is going to stay true to who he is, and do what he wants. Who knows, maybe he can find a way to get him and his family out of this alive.



Abilities
- Flight: In his grimoire state he has the passive ability to fly, as to not have his meister a need to hold him in battle. Although through partial transformation he is able to fly and float as well. When using this, a pink glow is seen around him.

- Soul Consumption: As a Demon weapon, he can consume souls.

- Full weapon Transformation: He has learned to both partially transform and fully transform.

- Soul wavelength/wavelength control: He has proficient control over not only his own soul wavelength, but also his meisters. His aunts state that this is one of the reasons why he has not fallen into madness yet, although he’s at it's doorsteps. He’s been able to utilize Soul Menace through this.

- Magic: Although he can not use magic, in his partial transformation state he can read a certain page of his own grimoire, and utilize the spell written down.

- The only person who can perform his grimoire spells are people with soul wavelengths that match his. Basically only him and whoever his partner is.

- The strength of the spell depends on who’s casting it. Him alone his spells are quite weak, but with a meister they become much stronger.

- Most of his spells are close ranged ones, although he has various spells. New spells can either be made by him learning a new one, or his meisters experiences where they have strong desire.

Deviating from the rather obvious... difference in her physique; It can be known that her hair is naturally two-toned with a blue coloration residing beneath a black outer layer. Her features are sharp, giving her practically perfect facial symmetry; When this is taken into effect with her pale, or rather porcelain, skin she is known to be a natural beauty. She is quite fit and it can be seen in her rather compact form, she doesn't show to be a particularly muscular or for that matter muscular at all. She is however firmly built, visuals aside, her muscles aren't very pronounced but they are most certainly there and completely capable of backing up anything that she states she could do. Her eyes are a bright and brilliant blue, oftentimes her eyes have been referenced to "Glow" but that's likely just someone seeing things. That's about all there is to know about her.

However if you look beneath her clothing it's notable that she's covered in scar tissue and other unnatural markings, it's believed that these have something to do with the set of teeth she has on her stomach. Image Reference
Personality
Ayame is a soft-spoken lass, usually wanting to show things through actions and skill rather than pointless chatter. She's not one to stick her nose up at conversation though, usually keeping a cool tone and a rather level headedness. If she looses her cool it is difficult to calm her down, usually resulting in a bluntness and her words showing severe lacking of a filter. This is something she regrets later on and will usually beat herself up over it. Companions or people she has deemed as good in general will get a kinder side of her, she may even tease them playfully. As for her mannerisms in speech, she doesn't like talking over people and will usually attempt to get a word in after someone has finished their point rather than dismiss theirs and focus on her own.
Brief Bio
Ayame grew up in an odd family to say the very least, to start off she never knew her mother; Her mother had died after giving birth to the twins. This left the three children to their fathers care, he was a scientist to say the very least and the idea of progression clouded his judgement. His son had been born with an exceptionally weak Soul Wavelength, so much so that it was nearly unable to be sensed. This had disappointed their father for many years seeing as he was born three years before his siblings had been brought into the world, when he discovered that one of his daughters had a soul wavelength stronger than his own a plan had hatched.

Ayame underwent many different procedures in her life-time, one of which had a second mouth installed upon her stomach. Her father originally intended to see if he could create a demon weapon by giving her a mouth capable of eating souls, this ultimately turned out to be a failure. Not only because the fact that it didn't work, but also because he would be unable to remove it or he would undoubtedly kill his daughter. Beyond the experiments she had been home-schooled for most of her life, only knowing her brother and sister as schoolmates and friends. Due to her experimentation she wasn't allowed to leave the house unsupervised, restricting her to living within the house most of her life. This of course changed after her father had a breakdown and decided to quit his experiments for good, sending his mad scientist days into the past.

A few years down the road and Ayame was offered the chance to attend Death Weapon Meister Academy, her father encouraged her and so she did such. He had been a meister in the past and over the years had taught her with what he knew, despite her outdoing him more often than not, and with that she moved on to this new era of her life.
Abilities
Soul Sensing:
Alike all meisters Ayame has the capability to sense the strength and location of a soul. She's not the most adept with this skill yet but she's not exactly an amateur either, she lies somewhere within the range between intermediate and adept

Soul Menace:
After her modification, and some extensive trial and error, Ayame became capable of putting her soul wavelength into an attack without the use of weaponry. The visual effect of this is a crackling blue electricity around the apendage that the user chooses to focus the power into. She portrays mastery of the technique possibly due to training and her naturally strong soul wavelength.

Exceptional Endurance:
After many years of training Ayame is capable of sustaining herself in both long, drawn out competitions or short bursts that could be explained as a simple fight. As such she's capable of running without tiring for an exceptional period of time, this applies when it comes to releasing attacks as well.

Proficiency in Flamberge:
After working together with her partner for a certain amount of time she has come to understand the ins and outs of her partners weapon form. She still has room to improve honestly but has the capability to wield them with extreme ease and bring out the best with the weapon she's been given.

"Smoking hot" probably wouldn't be the first string of adjectives to come to a girl's mind with his raw energy and unholy-looking eyes. Baph is stacked firmly with powerful packs of six pronounced enough to gauge his toughness and durability by sight alone. Unlike his abdomen, his arms are more modest, even when exposed, though just as solid. Basically his whole body is a tower, the height only reinforcing the constant aura that keeps most at bay. Baphomett's skin is a cliff's edge away from pale, and his hair albeit as groomed as the rest of his body, only adds to the wild theme he has going on. Nails on his fingers and toes are nonexistent.

Baphomett isn't stylish at all, every outfit either dark-themed or showing some skin. The usual attire though, is a black long-sleeved button-up shirt that hangs off of him displaying a grey vest underneath, matching black three-quarter-cut jeans, and a pair of black sandals. He's also seen with a chain and a white bandana, but they're worn with anything. Other clothes include different types of shirts made and sent in by his God-Aunt; mainly T-shirts with funny/cute designs.

Close-mouthed by nature, his interactions are similar to that of a bird's song; it leans on time, place, and reason. Baph is very accepting, his mother's over-protectiveness toward him creating a powerful immovable guard against the entire world. He's fierce, deeply believing that everything is a mere trial, and aims to best them all like he did his childhood. Bonds and relationships are a thing, and he values them, but he doesn't believe they count for much of anything, such is why most fail to see the difference between a friend and an acquaintance, as he treats them painfully similar. For Baph, trust doesn't exist, his paranoia of ending up like his father forcing him to be aware of his surroundings, especially people. Baphomett has absolutely no faith in anyone aside from what remains of his family; the concept of "people being clothing choices and how they'll change one way or another", held close to his heart. Though it must be said that he doesn't care either way, and this is where his wild nature comes in. Baphomett shows no restraint, completely fed-up with putting up an image or pretending to be someone he's not. He has a strong sense of individuality, and never hides it, showing his weird tastes, ways of doing things, and general thought process like he were some library-kept book.

Tolerance. The only other thing that Baph has more than tolerance, is his patience. Dealing with people day in and day out takes emotional and mental malleability, and this lad is soft metal without any external assistance. Everyone is different, having their own vices and virtues, some exercising such things upon others, whether intentionally or not. Experience with his parents and all they had to offer has made him rather adaptable to situations, and not some doormat to be walked upon. Baph is a smart lad, and will do his best to come up with a solution, or at least something close enough. He's not picky, nor prideful, making sure to consider his options while keeping an ear out for suggestions; teamwork being just another trial to defeat.

Words of his mother still a searing scar on his mind, he genuinely fears the day they meet again, memories of the past still strolling through his life ever-so-often. Baph is mentally crippled by two things; his mother, and his father's old partner. Thanks to a past incident, whenever Baph attempts to hit someone bare-handed, an image of his mother at her most vulnerable appears before him, forcing him to either stand-down, or in a dire situation, to stagger. This is also very bad, for obvious reasons, as he won't always have perfect conditions laid out for him to avoid this, and someone could easily take advantage of this and in addition take his life. On the contrary though, whenever he sees the face of his father's old partner, his body automatically responds with violence, as even though Baph denied the thought of blaming him for his mother calling him a monster, somewhere deep down does not, and it displays this with that destructive trigger.

Baphomett bathes in the glory of his broken bindings, and he sees himself as a monster. Knowing this fact, he doesn't mind who hangs out with him or calls themselves his pals, he doesn't give two shits about titles or what your past life consisted of. In short, Baph doesn't discriminate, and as long as you don't pull anything dumb involving him or while in his presence, you're whatever you want to be. The bar is low, and while he doesn't encourage injustice, he himself rests easy even when surrounded by criminals and bullies. He's respected, and his aura is feared. Feared enough that every fi--squabble he ever got into, started because of his inate need for peace and order. Baph isn't some lunatic who'll hang out with punks and standby while they unfair someone right in front of him. No. He's the kind of lunatic that'll march in between, understand what's going on, then break the face of the victim his impulse pointed to. Again, he's a no-holds-barred type of fellow, and he'll do whatever comes naturally.

Family... A word, a concept, or even a recipe for disaster. For some, it brings despair, for others, a great joy. In Baphomett's case, it was a mere torrent of trials that threatened to make or break him. Born to a rather shaky couple, Baph spent his first five or seven years of life give-or-take being a normal kid. He was home-schooled by his over paranoid mother Katerina, and secretly trained in super fun ways by his selfless father Bartholomew. It was almost perfect you might say, his childhood completely caged by his mother while he laughed and played with his father. Behind the scenes though, the lovely duo themselves were suffering from major differences that love blinded them to, causing some painful realizations just before any thoughts of a proposal. However, their lovechild out-weighed their unhealthy relationship, and to jump around more on the rotten floorboards; it seemed they still loved each other, and planned on forcing their compatibility.

Baphomett had now partied away his tenth birthday, his mother introducing him to the world of work; she wanted her son to either have a safe job, or one that at least paid enough. Around this time was when his father went away on a job, not to return for at least 3 weeks the most--two days minimum. Katerina was more strict this time, the city now a large playground; she took the young boy on a tour to see at the least a few of the many jobs and career-paths out there waiting on him. However, the child's curiosity brought him to finally ask what put money in his father's pockets. ...This question was just the beginning, and while not getting a direct answer, Baph knew right then and there that his mother was a broken individual; she not only loved the man, but she despised his job and all those people associated with it. In fact, it was this animosity towards the mans job that really threatened the bond that kept the two adults together this long.

Fifteen years and pelting, Baphomett had found two part-time jobs in the city, a disinterest in learning institutions, and a career choice he knew he was going to regret later. The boy wanted to be a meister, just like his dad, the unwavering will-power and dedication showing in the form of all the training he kept up with in his father's absence. Meanwhile, he took up all matter of work his new school attempted to drown him with, the perilous eyes of his mother averted enough for him to dream happily. It'd been a good damn year for sure, the boy stronger mentally, physically, and while unknown to him at the moment, spiritually. This soon changed for the worst though, as one late afternoon, his boss was attacked on her way home by some goon wielding a double-bladed scythe. Funny thing was, that goon was his father, and the weapon was a man, a man whom was Bartholomew's partner going by the name of Chassier St.Thomas. The whole thing was stupid ridiculous, and the fight ended with a father-and-son confrontation, following up with a weapon and Meister throw-down.

Ultimately, Baphomett learned the hard way that his employer was an actual Witch, part of his father's duty was to kill them if ordered to but that time it was at his anxious partner's request, he had an incredibly powerful wavelength, and that his life just reached a new low. The battle between Bartholomew and his partner ended with him beating his weapon unconscious to protect the Witch and his son before quitting his job, while the Witch sealed Baphomett's soul wavelength to keep anyone else from suffering the same fate as his mother and the people in the district area at that time that he rendered in a rest-like state.
Two years flew by immediately since all that hullabaloo with his family. Baph was now many times stronger and more in-control spirit-wise, if compared to himself back then. He was recommended by his father, and scouted by his new friend for the D.W.M.A, where his new journey would begin. Sadly, after leaving for the place of dreams, his parents separated, and his mother completely abandoned her child and boyfriend.

->Dodging Grandmaster: Trained from a young age, Baph has mastered the art of avoiding external contact with little to no movement.

->Blind Combat: Quickly learning of his unbreakable mental bindings courtesy of his loving mother, Baph came up with the solution of fighting blindly. For the most part, dodging attacks is still as easy for him whether with vision or not, as he's sharpened his instinct to the point of a six sense that lets him figure out an offensive maneuver via the attacker's intent to connect. However, it seems heavily reliant on comfort, and the only thing that fits is his special bandana. So in other words, to utilize Blind Combat, he needs to be blindfolded with said bandana. Additionally, while his dodging is unaffected by the lack of sight, he's still iffy in actually attacking the opponent, forcing him to perform powerful counters whenever possible.

->Soul Limiter: In the form of five odd brown and black markings, Baphomett has several soul restraints that keep his wavelength in check.

->Weapon Savvy: Almost naturally skilled with wielding swords, Baphomett can use anything that echoes its form; ranging from things like sticks to his partner.

->Soul Perception: He can see souls.

->Soul Decay: If a limiter is broken, he can release a destructive wavelength that damages soul protect.

->Soul Fog: By releasing two Soul Limiters, his wavelength takes the physical form of a dark red fog. while it has no damaging properties, it thickens and grows with the amount of limiters broken. So far he can spread it out, or simply cover himself with it. Since the fog is literally his soul, soul perception is useless, thus making it almost impossible to track him within the fog.

-Prone to destructive outbursts, Baph has felt on-edge ever since he joined the academy. The face of his father's partner the trigger for a "Crash" moment, which while rare, involves inanimate things ninety-nine percent of the time.

Seren, by all means, has the physical features of somebody who goes out of their way to take care of themselves, long silky hair, clear skin, properly trimmed nails, yet her abrasiveness can be read off of her body language by all but the most socially dull of people. She constantly exudes an aura of being 'on-edge', and unapproachable, despite her efforts to maintain her looks. Her sense of fashion is a bit more 'out-there' than you'd expect from her personality. Thanks to her rejecting most of her potential friends, never seeing her mother, and hating her aunt, Seren's wardrobe is entirely self-assembled. Her outfits tend to look more like they've been put together for amateur cosplay, than casual dress, and she's not likely to realize it herself.

Personality
Seren is a young lady that doesn't have a very high opinion of other people, and isn't shy about letting them know it. She takes the idea of "being the best you can be" more seriously than it was probably ever meant to be taken, casting a harsh light on anyone who doesn't live up to "proper standards". She's, perhaps, someone who is in far too much of a rush to grow up. Her natural enemies are the lazy and the irresponsible, but thanks to what can only be described as borderline paranoia, she's quick to put herself at odds with everybody else too. Just yawning in class is enough to earn yourself a glare from her direction, let alone something like being tardy or disruptive; She especially fosters a resent for "people who haven't earned their place", that is to say, people who succeed in life despite not holding themselves up to her standards. In her eyes, the ends do not justify the means, so both have to be up to snuff.

Socially, her 'good side' is virtually non-existent. She keeps herself to as high a standard as she does anyone else, but as a friend that does little more than ensure honesty and punctuality. Which, while nice on their own, aren't enough for most people to look past her eagerness to cast suspicion on and insult them for the smallest slip ups.

Practically speaking however, the methods of her madness does seem to be working out for her. She's a studious and hardworking girl, performing well in both her theoretical and practical studies, ensuring her as a partner of fine quality of those that can deal with... The rest of her. She's got no problem with pulling her weight or working up a sweat, not expecting her Meister to do all the physical heavy lifting in their work, so long as they keep a respectful relationship.

Brief Bio
If you were to ask Seren about her past, she'd reply "It was overrun by deadbeats." She was raised by a single mother whose path of employment involved a dance club and long nights. While well enough paid, she wasn't able to be around very often because of it, and other influences took root in Seren's young mind.

Specifically, those of her aunt's.

Her Aunt Anemone was a woman who was in a situation not too dissimilar than her sister's. The two moved in together for the sake of finance, making her a convenient enough babysitter for her growing niece. Anemone, however, was not able to take her lost love into stride nearly as well as Seren's mother did. Perhaps it was because she lacked the grounding that a child of her own provided, or perhaps that was just her nature, but her experience left her a much more bitter woman either way. She'd been used. Wooed by some no-good man that whispered sweet nothings into her ear as he'd slipped notes from her pockets; And she'd have no more of it.

She didn't exactly go out of her way to 'condition Seren to think just like her', or anything extreme like that, but she'd do more than half the job of raising her and had never been the type to keep her mouth shut. Anemone was much more of an authority figure in Seren's life than her sunny but often absent mother was, so it was only natural that she would begin to adopt her aunt's outlook on life. It started off well enough, with a greater disposition towards hard work than most her age, but as she got older she starter to resemble Anemone more and more. She'd begin to outright resent the people she saw as not giving their all, and even those who were that she judged to be 'looking in the wrong direction'; And by the time she entered the DWMA, even Anemone had made that list.

The day when she discovered herself as a Demon Weapon wasn't one of celebration, or even despair; It was just one where she felt a renewed sense of duty. If this was the path that fate had set out of her, then so be it. She wasn't going to run away.

She was better than that.

Stronger than that.

And she'd prove it.

Abilities
Demon Weapon - Meteor Hammer
Seren takes the form of a Meteor Hammer, an ancient Chinese weapon that can be described as something like a doubled-headed flail. It consists of two spiked balls connected by a three meter long chain. Each ball is 25 centimeters across, and is covered in nine 10 centimeter long spikes.
  • Full & Partial Transformation - Seren is able to transform both fully and partially. Her partial transformation allows her to transform one of her arms into a single-headed, two meter long version of her weapon form.
  • Autonomous - While not as capable a fighter as her Meister, Seren has trained herself to be capable of autonomous combat. She's strong enough to deal with minor threats on her own, and at the very least, stall for time against ones that would usually call for a Weapon-Meister duo. Autonomous combat is a continued point of study for her and she shows no signs of being anywhere near satisfied with her current abilities.

Supporting Characters
Meister, Grace Amadeus Fugue - A bridge between Seren and the rest of the world, or something equally sappy and sentimental. Grace is just about the only person in Death City who'll put up with Seren's constant derision, so their winding up as partners was only natural. Seren appreciates Grace's willingness to learn, and equally importantly, her ability to do so without complaining or shirking off. She tries to keep their relationship at a 'strictly business' level, but the more time she spends with her the more she finds herself warming up to her, even if she won't admit it yet.
Mother, Elaine Gogo - Seren doesn't have the best relationship with her mother, but it's still in better than it's in with most people. She respects her mother's can-do attitude, but can't help but feel repelled by her line of work as a nightclub employee. Her mother loves her as much as she ever has, but her work stops her from seeing her with any degree of length or regularity, especially since she stared attending the DWMA.
Aunt, Anemone Gogo - Definitely a biggest influence on Seren as a young girl, and now somebody that Seren resents. Her own words turned against her, it seems, as her niece now views her as little more than the peak of hypocrisy; A woman too caught up in her woes to take any action to resolve them.

Appearance:
Despite her name, Grace doesn't seem "graceful" so much as loose, her clothing and posture relaxing and falling however they so choose to. This isn't to say that she looks messy--indeed, far from it--simply that it appears as if she puts minimal effort into her appearance while still receiving decent results. Though it's entirely possible that this could translate into "natural" grace as she grows older, at her current age (and with her current styles of slightly-grungy clothing) it's likely more fair to state that her appearance is a light manifestation of the "apathy-itis" that has taken over many a teenager's life.

Personality:
Much like her appearance, the theme of Grace's personality is "flowing." It's not her job to go against the tide, it's her job to maneuver within in it with the skill and precision of a champion swimmer. Though it appears paradoxical to many, she's somehow managed to replace most forms of worrying with forms of focus, letting whatever happens to her happen while honing in on what she can actually do in any given situation to change it to her will. Life's an orchestra, so just focus on your part.
When her relaxed outward nature is coupled with this outlook and her natural drive, she seems less like someone who is plain lazy and more like someone who is "in the zone" one-hundred percent of the time. Whether or not she truly is, of course, remains to be seen.
Interpersonally, these internal processes shine through to create a relaxed, slightly distant, but nonetheless extremely tolerable person. She's the "quiet friend," the one with rare but quality insights that spends most of the hangout engaged in whatever they want to do while quietly listening, but will always engaged when talked to; independent, but always willing to swing back your way as part of their orbit.
Oddly enough, Grace's easy-going nature makes it easy for her to resonate with many of her classmates. Ironically, this quirk of personality has all but glued her to Seren, as she's just about the only meister in the class capable of indefinitely handling her natural abrasion without long-term discouragement or frequent clashes. As Grace describes it, she herself is the "downtime" of a song, the measures when the entire band chills out and rolls with the beat. And Seren? She's the crazy licks and the guitar solos. Grace, the calm, chugging bass to Seren's screaming upper registers. The Santana to her Dragonforce. The first half of Free Bird versus the second half of Free Bird.

Biography:
The Fugue family, historically, is not a family of meisters. But it is a family of maestros.
It is a name of great wealth and long-running classical talent; a clan of conductors, first-chairs, famed soloists, and treasured composers. Ordered, principled, and cyclical, much like the looping, iterating genre of the same name.
It is also a name of dwindling prospects, for just as the word Fugue is tied to intertwining, ever-shifting melodies in unison, so too is it tied to a twisting, deep, labyrinthine madness.
Growing up, Grace's mother, Aria, watched the elder members of her family fade away one by one. Dementia, depression, Alzheimer's, and personality disorders of all stripes--as each lost their personhood, they were removed from the grand familial mansion, never to be seen again. By the time she was twenty, the beautiful cacophony of practicing family had become an eerie silence, broken solely by her own singing and the light pattering feet of her few attendants. Loneliness tugged at her heart and mind with reckless abandon, yet despite the encroaching darkness, she became an operatic jewel, touring throughout the world and performing for audiences from Alabama to New Zealand.
In Copenhagen, while slated for a performance as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Aria fell madly in love with the production's prodigious first flute, Nills Quarter. He proposed to her at the final performance, and the two were married at the end of the production's run; the production's closing celebration doubled as their engagement party.
Together, the two continued their performances and escapades throughout the world, finally settling after Grace's birth. Their little "grace note," as she was called, became the object of much doting and devotion, especially when it became clear that she happily shared her family's musical aspirations. Aria's mind eased as the joy of music returned to her household, delighting in father-daughter duets, composing trios for the family, and Grace's frequent practice sessions upon the organ in the manor's main hall.
Yet, this stability did not last very long, as Nills soon fell gravely ill; though she still had her daughter, for Aria, the loss of her life's love was too much to bear. She felt the onset of the familial "curse" early on, isolating herself as far from her daughter as she could until she no longer had the mind to do so. Mind nearly gone, she eventually turned on her offspring, forcing long and brutal instruction on her. Grace played for longer and longer hours, and was often woken by her mother in the middle of the night when the silence became unbearable.
The young Grace began to resent her mother and the music that she played, though more than anything else, she resented the madness that took her loving, "true" mother from her. In private, she began straying away from desired classicality, delving deeply into countercultures and blaring, angry, modern music. Evenings, she began leaving the house, biking into town in the dead of night to look in through club windows and watch rock concerts from illegally-scaled rooftops and far-away hills. She fell in with a rowdy, youthful crowd of her own, always disregarding her mother's screams and maddened pleading every time she was caught; even punishment did not dissuade her, and in time the manor's few remaining servants became sympathetic enough to begin aiding in her romps themselves.
Slowly, she realized that she was able to "feel" people, and her mother's demeanor became stifling and torturous, as if her madness were now crawling within Grace's own mind and forcing her to retreat further into herself. In time, this, along with freedom, managed to mellow her, the initial burst of emotion brought about by her mother's change now mixing with her more reserved nature. Having grown confident in her independence--even despite her young age--she eventually left, ultimately deciding that anyplace was better than life with her mother. Having noticed that there was more to madness than meets the eye, she grew particularly wary of that sensitive kernel of lost control within many people. If her mother and her family history were any indication, her own days were numbered unless she found help.
Thankfully, an institution known as the Death Weapon Meister Academy might just have the answers she needs. Maybe, she thought, if she learned enough, if she worked hard enough, if she did everything she needed to do, she'd find a way to not only keep herself sane, but bring back the mother she wishes she can see again.

-- Soul Perception: Just the basics, nothing to see here.
-- "Major" Menace: One of two "riffs" on Soul Menace developed through a combination of instruction and personal experimentation. After all, Wavelengths are the "sound" of the soul, and Grace sure knows a hell of a lot about sound. Major Menace, for the most part, is indistinguishable from the average Soul Menace (save for its different naming for the sake of pairing with Minor Menace), though it tends to have more concussive force than the menace of the average user.
-- "Minor" Menace: The stiletto to Major Menace's sledgehammer, Minor Menace has less power than a full Soul Menace attack, though it's far harder to see coming. There's no visual build-up for Minor Menace, and Grace tends to use it as something resembling a "poke of death" more than anything else; with enough concentration, Grace can turn a light tap into a devastating blow, though without the overwhelming power of a more "open" wavelength attack.
-- Master Musician: Though it's not relevant to the majority of her EAT schooling, Grace's early life has gifted her with a musical foundation that's difficult for others of her age to match. Though rock and classical are her mainstays, she can easily deal with just about any genre, and plays whatever she fancies. Her training in this area does lead to useful analogies for mastering wavelength-related studies, however, something bolstered by her surprisingly flexible soul.

Equipment: Grace carries a harmonica around in her pocket to cope with boredom. It also counters the slight discomfort caused by silence, which reminds her of her mother--and her mother's madness.

-- Aria Fugue: A famous opera singer and Grace's formerly loving mother. Having fallen prey to her family's long-standing instability, it would be a stretch to call Aria even a shadow of her former self. Grace, now believing that there is perhaps more to her family's mental history than mere chance, hopes to use her knowledge gained at DWMA to bring her mother back from the brink.
-- Seren Gogo: Grace's hot-headed, pushy, slightly-paranoid partner. Seeing as resonating with Seren is a one-way ticket to Hurt City for many meisters, Grace has taken up the task, with a mutual respect for each other's personal drive doing the brunt of the work in regards to resonance capability. Grace doesn't know enough about her partner to nail down why she acts the way that she does, but is content to believe that it comes from a place of wanting everyone to reach their fullest potential. Whether she knows it or not, Seren's goading has been a major source of improvement fuel for Grace herself.
-- Father Michaelis: Grace's contact for her sunday organ job, and one of the only people that she feels comfortable divulging more personal details to. That said, she doesn't vent all that often.

-- Grace keeps theee guitars (an electric, an acoustic, and an electric bass), and a Kazzio synthesizer in her room. She'd never admit it, but the Kazzio is her favorite.
-- She sometimes moonlights at Deathstaurant as one of their live music offerings for a side-job, and also pulls in a pretty hefty stack of cash for playing a church organ on Sundays.
-- Despite her musical inclinations, Grace's most prized possession is not an instrument, but a motorized bicycle that she and her old street friends modified to look slightly more like a "real" motorcycle. To her, it's a symbol of her cultivated freedom.
-- Grace can't relax or fall asleep without either music or white noise playing due to the anxiety that silence causes her. She's also something of a poor test-taker for this same reason, unless there's an air conditioner running somewhere, or enough page rustling and pencil-scratching for her to hone in on.
-- Since arriving at DWMA, Grace has been trying to put together a band she's preemptively called "the Resonators." Word is she hasn't successfully recruited anyone yet.

Standing at 5’5”, Sophie is just around average height, perhaps a little taller. Sophie is slender and fit, with some musculature from some school sports, but nothing overtly glaring. She has long blonde hair with bangs, as well shiny teal eyes.


With an hourglass figure, clear skin, and a perfect smile, Sophie would be considered rather conventionally attractive by most standards. Sophie generally wears semi-casual clothing, usually seen in a sweater, or maybe a crop top or something comfortable.


Personality
Not loud, but not quiet, cool as ice but also sharp as a tack, Sophia is both comfortable being herself while always making strides to improve. At first glance, Sophia is a rather lady-like young woman; she’s always quite well-mannered to both her superiors and her peers, and is also meticulously organized, always working to clean messes left by her partners or others and always doing chores and other stuff in order to keep the apartment clean. She’s definitely on top of her schoolwork and, while she’s not against going out to have fun every so often, is a good student and studies hard.


However, Sophia is not quite as lady-like as she might appear. Soph has a razor-sharp sense of sarcasm which she never hesitates to break out, and is a stubborn young girl, hard to budge off her strong opinions. Soph is a tactician first and a warrior second, focusing on exposing weaknesses and defense maneuvers over brute offense, and is easily frustrated when her strategic findings and plans are rejected by her partner and others. She’s very acerbic and holds-no-bars when it comes to her criticisms.


Despite this, Soph is definitely not a bad person, and is in fact a very kind individual, compassionate to those she knows, even if they get on her nerves sometimes (and vice versa). She’s very caring of her partner and teammates and would do anything to help them.


Sophia, though acting much older than her age, is still a teenager deep down. For instance, she’s a hopeless romantic, easily infatuated by the various male students of the DWMA, and is also very prone to moodiness and sulking if something doesn’t go her way.


All in all, Soph may not be a hair rough on the outsides, but she’s truly a kind soul.


Brief Bio
Sophia was born and raised in England, about a mile away from London, in a Victorian manor out in the countryside of Great Britain. Sophia’s family was from a long line of capable weapons, based in the UK. Sophia’s father was Henry “The Beheader” Green, a famous weapon and DWMA alumni best-known for being an autonomous weapon, fighting without needing a meister. This is a hard task to accomplish, but Henry Green was incredibly successful at what he did- he managed to kill 99 Kishin single-handedly, and was prepared to kill a Witch and become a Death Scythe. However, during his duel with the magical foe, he found that he had bitten off more than he could chew with the Witch while fighting alone. The witch eventually defeated him, taking both of his arms in the process, and ending his career as a weapon.


Henry ended up receiving this universe’s equivalent of worker’s compensation, along with two prosthetic arms. He ended up marrying another Demon Weapon and settled down in England, using the family wealth to maintain a happy, upper-class life. They had three children, Oliver, Ethan, and Sophia. Because of genetics, all of them happened to be Demon Weapons- Oliver, a claymore, and Ethan, a bow and arrow, and quite embarrassingly, Sophia, the umbrella. The subject of great teasing as a child for this, Sophia found that the umbrella...was not quite the worst weapon in the world at all. In fact, the umbrella’s protective part was almost entirely bulletproof, scratchproof, fire-retardant, and magic-resistant. She also found that she could sharpen the end of the umbrella to be as sharp as a spear. And lastly, she found the umbrella to be a much more classy, stealthy weapon than a giant sword or other medieval weapons. Soon, Emily grew more capable than either of her older brothers in combat, and soon both. By the age of 12, her father found her fit to travel to Nevada and study at the DWMA.


Landing in America for the first time, Soph quickly graduated from the NOT class and onto the EAT class thanks to her talents as an autonomous weapon, where she met her partner. There, the story still continues to unfold.

The Demon Umbrella is certainly not a threatening title, but Soph's demon form certainly has its merits. For one thing, the Demon Umbrella is almost entirely bulletproof, scratchproof, fire-retardant, and magic-resistant. This is because Soph is capable of transferring her soul wavelength into the hood part of the umbrella, strengthening it ten-fold. Soph is also capable of sharpening the tip of her umbrella form into a razor-sharp spear, which is excellent for running opponents through.

Soph is also highly proficient at autonomous combat, trained by her legendary father after all, and is capable of transforming her hands into small, mini-shields. This unorthodox method of combat is highly effective, and Soph has proven capable at taking on multiple skilled opponents at once with this. Despite her talents here, Soph much prefers being in her full transformation.

After losing his family at a very young age and was taken in by one of the orphanages located in Death City, a man named "Klaus Yeager" took in Doji and raised him, as his own, eventually, by the time Doji had reached age 14, his Demon Weapon powers had awakened, Klaus being a Demon Weapon himself decided to teach Doji how to properly master his abilities in case that he ever needed to use them, by age 16, Doji was left by Klaus to live in Death City, as his foster parent went to explore the outside world, although hating the fact that Klaus seemingly had "abandoned" Doji, the latter doesn't mind, as he knew that Klaus was preparing him to live on his own and experience the world for himself from his very own viewpoint and not another's, deciding to rent himself an apartment in Death City, Doji then took on a job, as a chef in training, as he has always been fond of cooking, however, the other employees at Doji's job have different opinions about him, most of them being negative, partly due to Doji's appearance and the fact that he is a Demon Weapon, sometimes Doji gets into fights with both his fellow employees and customers alike just because they don't like the way he both looks and acts, nevertheless, Doji stands up for himself and despite badly beating up his peers and driving away customers that don't return afterwards, his boss named "Ronald Fitz" keeps Doji on-board, knowing that Doji has a good heart and that he is a talented chef in the making, besides his personal life in the present, there was a very personal event that happened to Doji when he was just 5 years old that molded him into who he is now, the losses of both his parents and younger sister at the hands of a psychopathic murderer who the police dubbed, as "Schneider", to this day, the police have never caught Schneider and eventually closed the case upon all leads turning up dead, Schneider was known to be a serial killer that was called the "Killer of Families", as he always targeted people with families in them for whatever reason or another, the only other thing known about Schneider is that he is a Demon Weapon that takes on the form of a butcher's knife, Doji vowed that one day, knowing whilst believing in the workings of fate that he would one day encounter Schneider again would he kill him and take revenge for his family, only then could Doji transform himself into a better person and change his ways and not any time before that, until then, Doji lives the way he does, just going on with life that is thrown in front of him, taking on and meeting every challenge thrown in front of him.

She usually seen wearing her armor, she created, most of the time but when she's not wearing that she wearing really punk-lolita clothing though she does like to wear cutesy clothes sometimes. She's 5'3" in height, weighs 101lbs and her measurements are 87, 58, 85.

Personality
Odette is shy and timid though on the outside she pretends to be this tough, cool, and serious girl. Odette is also kind-hearted, and always prepared to go out of her way to help others who need it, and learns the philosophy that comes with her life. She is also very caring and responsible, though she can also be a bit airheaded.

Brief Bio
Odette comes from a long line of witches, with a good mixture of bad and good witches. Both of her parents were witches and was always teaching her magic. Which she became quite good at. Odette later had a little sister and seemed like all of the attention moved on to her. Though Odette didn't mind but her parents did her treat her different. Not in a bad way but they expected her to act a certain way which was where her outer tough girl personality came from. When upon finding out she was a demon weapon Odette went to work on creating a special armor that would protect her in weapon and non weapon form. Of course this was mostly possible because of the magic she use to make the armor. It even ended up changing the look of the sword because of it.
