Tae-ha's usually a very passive person, his true personality coming out only around his friends. His standoffish nature has made him a popular subject among fans, as his aura is mysterious, yet captivating. He can be seen wearing intimidating or annoyed looks in public a lot, so he's been donned the "bad boy" of the group. In some ways, the label is true; he gets angry and annoyed often, although he keeps from lashing out easily. He knows how to keep his emotions at bay when they get out of hand. He's actually rather generous and kind, due to his belief in Buddhism and good karma.


Tae-ha's a social chameleon, his attitude changes depending on who he's around. Around his friends, he's lovable, sociable, charismatic, and witty. If he's around the maknae line, he's a bit more considerate toward them. Around higher-ups, he's professional and submissive. He enjoys teasing people, while not going so far as to prank them or humiliate them in anyway.


Background


Tae-ha was generally a normal kid in his early years. He was average in school, preferring to sing his favorite songs from his favorite K-Pop and learn the lyrics than math and science. As he grew up, his parents scolded him for his interests. They wanted him to grow up to be a lawyer or a doctor, something successful, something realistic. He refused, and entered a somewhat rebellious phase. While he didn't go as far as committing any crimes or skipping school, he did continue to listened to music that they forbade, and practicing despite their warnings. They never had the heart to throw him out, and he knew that, so he continued. Unfortunately, the close-mindedness of his parents lead to him not being able to attend any idol-specialized high schools, and his sour attitude continued to grow. This was until Tae-ha started to sneak out to finally attend auditions. He was too old to go to the idol schools, but he finally got picked up by a company. His parents found it hard to refuse, so he started training to become an idol.

Tae-ha feels the need to protect this boy due to him not being a native to the country, and he admires the fact that he had the courage to go to a new country with new people. Their specialties and positions in the group are really opposite, so if he needs help, Jun is one of the first people he looks to. They also have a spot that they regularly walk to sometimes for a break.

Tae-ha knows that Kiho is a problem and a troublemaker, and tries to mold him into the adorable boy that the other maknaes are, but consistently fails. He tries different approaches, like giving him the silent treatment or ignoring him, but it only results in Kiho refusing to call him hyung and continue in his evil ways. The boy often comes up with schemes to swindle Tae-ha into being his minion again, like bribing him with kittens, getting him to buy him ice cream, etc. Tae-ha also has a tendency to ruffle the boy's hair and put cat ears on him.

Sunny is pretty intimidated by the pretty boy, due to his height. He acts kind of shy around him as if he was prone to lashing out at any second. He also has a habit of standing behind him in public to hide. Tae-ha has a habit of ruffling his hair.

They're very touchy-feely with each other, and most people think it's just because they're really close, but some think there's more.
