Music Do you listen to a playlist when you RP?

I pump out the most dense black metal (there's actually a lot of fantasy inspired songs in the genre) or power metal (or to be fair, any metal sub-genre) songs whenever I try to get around to writing a post. Seeing that fantasy is what I tend to write 99% of the time, I mostly stick to this...

    Music Songs you hate.

I beseech to thee, satan, to remove thine embrace of darkness 'pon this world, and with that too, thine vassal Luis Fonsi.

Music Favorite album from one of your fav bands?

The Sin and the Sentence by Trivium might quite literally be the best album to date, only matched by Shogun or Ascendancy. It's a product of years of experience, surely, a culmination of all the techniques and signatures they picked up in their previous albums. Plus, the cover's pretty awesome.

Literature What are you reading right now?

A most fantastic sequel to the Red Rising Trilogy so far.

    The Room.

Literature What's the last book you really loved?

The Grace of Kings, by Ken Liu. I really liked the book, its original base (it's a prime example of silk-road fantasy done right), and the way it handled mythology and the whimsical elements that comes with far-fetched historical folk tales. If I could pick a second book (or rather, a series)...

    Literature Let's See Them Books

Well, at least you wrote and finished a book. For some, it's darn near impossible — procrastination's entree is oftentimes far too natural to comprehend beforehand. Happens a lot to me. I just keep scribbling over the same scene dozens of times, changing and rewriting the overall structure of...

    Literature Let's See Them Books

I haven't, to be honest, but I'm thinking of writing one — in the meantime, sharpening my prose artistry-e-finesse through RPing, and just plain reading a lot. I believe, however, that my friend, @0stinato, has written a fair ton of books (mostly weird fiction, if you ask me).

Music Extremely urgent!!! I need to beat my brother!

Nonetheless, the views of the greater undermine the lesser; one cannot argue with that. Minecraft parodies have no place within the heart of the musical connoisseurs, pal.

    Literature Book recommendations

Words of Radiance, by Brandon Sanderson. The first book was already very awesome, and I hear that the second is even better. Safe to say, I'm very excited.

Literature Read any good books lately?

The Kings of the Wylds, which I've bought and read recently, is some of the more humorous, and still effectively impactful, fantasy books I've read. As a plus, it also explores the themes of old age, glory, and camaraderie — some of my most favourite elements. The Night Angel Trilogy. The name...

Literature Prose vs Poetry = Plot?

To be truthful, prose and poetry are somewhat polar opposites, but at the same time connected. Prose is what you use to normally write stories, novels, and other sorts of literary work. Poems, on the other hand, is a troika or more of rhyming words packed into a couple of subtly-connected...

    Literature Best Book Series?

The Malazan Book Of The Fallen is a ten book series that you definitely ought to check out — likable characters, immersive world, but a slightly weak ending. It, more or less, fits the now forgotten Sword & Sorcery genre, the precursor to fantasy; though Steven Erikson's interpretation included...
