Liking the starters so far because they are cute <3. But their design doesn't really stand out, and they are very similar to each other in design (circular heads, same body type), so I hope the evolutions go through different paths. As for the graphics, it's looking really cool so far!

The animation isn't bad in itself. In particular, the scenery and backgrounds are top-notch. But it is true that at times the animation is choppy, or the characters are not really well-rendered. The S&M animation is pretty good! The color palette is amazing, portraying a very colorful Pokemon World, as always. I love how cheerful, bubbly and just relaxing it looks. Maybe what you don't really like is the 'character designs', or at least Ash's, which I have seen a lot of people complain...

The movie actually looks really cool. The actor choice also makes it a must-see (loved him as Bane and on Mad Max), coupled with the fact that Venom is such a cool character, I'm def gonna see it.
