Mine has to be Hetalia. I usually don't like the pure comedy short script series. I like anime to have some kind of plot, character development, and different kinds of feels mixed in. Hetalia, however, is pure stupidity and I love it.
This one!!!! I wanted to put it, but didn't know how to put it plus I was kind of distracted. I love the exaggerated facial expressions. To me, it gets the point across how the character is feeling along with adding a bit of comedy.
It's true that there are certain tropes that need to stop completely, but there are others that make anime awesome, and those are the ones that we are going to discuss here!
For me, I like the school festival and school trip episodes.
HunterXHunter with Yu Yu Hakusho at a very close second. The only thing pushing HxH to first place is it's the series that introduced me to my boyfriend.
FLCL. Just, why? I watched it out of curiosity because it was so popular, but all it did was confuse the crap out of me and make me wish I could get those three hours of my life back.
Hitman Reborn had the strangest cast of characters I have ever seen in a shonen. There was a lot of character development, but the characters' most basic quirks never changed.
HunterXHunter is my number one, no changing it. It's the series I will always go back to re-watch over and over.
After that would be Yu Yu Hakusho. Yu Yu Hakusho is that one series I can go back and re-watch different parts without re-watching the whole thing.
My favorite of all time has to be HunterXHunter. No old or new series will ever change that. The second place spot goes to Yu Yu Hakusho. It would be tied with HxH, except it doesn't have the memories that HxH has.
Pokemon (up until Advanced started), the first 2 seasons of Digimon, and the original Yu-Gi-Oh. I crushed hard on Ken from season 2 of Digimon. Actually, I still crush on him...
