I played Banjo and Kazooie years and years ago. I very specifically remember getting the bad ending multiple times since I played when I was pretty young. It was probably the 3rd or 4th video game I've ever played.
Tales of Vesperia by far. I love the characters and themes, even though as many games do it sends you meandering all over the place.
(Though Golden Sun is underrated imo. Or maybe just too old for it to hit most folks' top tier list :P )
Silver Spoon - comedy anime about a regular guy adapting to life at an agricultural school. Had a lot of interesting messages and philosophy while being pretty funny at the same time. Some light romance themes as well. Laugh out loud funny but it also makes you think seriously about things at...
Now that they've turned Noblesse into a short anime, Cardis Etrama Di Raizel (aka Rai) is the character I consider to be the most badass. Mainly because of his op powers. Frankenstein runs him a very close second, which is saying something. Really, most of the characters in that story are...
"The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it."
- Terry Pratchett
Additionally,
"Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving."
Anything in the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett is an enjoyable read. I recommend starting with "The Wee Free Men" and subsequent Tiffany Aching books if you liked Harry Potter (since that's one of the young adult books and as such works well as an introduction to the series).
If you like...
As long as you still have something other than anime to bond over, no anime fan (who isn't a drama queen/king) is going to care that you're not into anime. My friends don't like everything that I like, and I don't like everything that they like. As long as you don't put anyone down for liking...
I'd like to see them make a manga of Watashi ga Motete Dousunda (kiss him, not me). I'd also like to see 1/2 prince as an anime, but MMO animes are pretty generic nowadays so perhaps it's better off not being an anime. Watashi ga Motete Dousunda would make a great anime though. There's a...
I wonder how much equivalence can be drawn between Hogwarts houses and Ilvermorny houses, because I'm very much a Ravenclaw (and am sorted as such on both official and non-official quizzes). But Wampus does not seem to be anywhere close to what Ravenclaw typically is.
Perhaps the structure is...
I haven't seen Willow, and I don't really watch a lot of movies. I've heard of it though, and might check it out at some point. I have whole lists of films and books that I need to get around to checking out, though in the end I generally just end up rewatching nostalgic classics or focusing on...
I was sorted into Wampus. Which is kinda neat since I like cats, though I am very confused as to why I was sorted that way. The house "represents the body" and "favours warriors". I'm an nonathletic, nonviolent nerd and always have been xD Though I do suppose I consider health and vitality to...
I'm sure she will ^_^ The movies have a lot of charm to them, especially to fantasy lovers. I'm not sure how true they are to the original books, but as films they certainly are very enjoyable.
That's honestly pretty surprising. The Princess Bride is huge among nerds of all ages from my experience xD Its one that parents often pass on to their children. You're definately not alone your love of that film.
Stardust isn't as well known, and I've mostly meet older fans who enjoy it...
I love them both ^_^ The Princess Bride is pretty popular with most of the people I know. Stardust not so much, with the exception of one friend who adores it. I saw it about two years ago and I loved it too. Frankly, I think more people should check it out.
If you like cute romances, read the manga Love So Life. It's almost finished (just a few chapters left to go), and it's very adorable. It's not completely focused on the romance aspect for most chapters, but the story is very sweet. It's a personal favorite of mine.
I also recommend both the...
My favorite series is definitely the Discworld series. (That might be cheating a bit, since it's a series that includes multiple book series. Out of the Discworld books, my favorite series is probably either the Death books or the books featuring Death's granddaughter Susan. They're all really...
