Carn Barley
- The Iron Wall -
Carn couldn’t help but recoil as the wall of flames hurtled towards them. When the torrent met Maggie’s shield, there was a short impact, followed by rumbling as the fire rushed past them. All around them was a red, swirling river. It seemed like it’d consume...
btw, has anyone seen dungeon meshi on netflix?
Another question (but related to the RP), did the literature about dragons have anything about potential weak points in the dragon's scales? Got the idea from Dungeon Meshi.
@Kaerri Carn and the rest of the melee fighters will be there for emotional support while Maggie holds the shield : P
Whenever she drops it, Carn (and maybe Laurolf) will both be focusing on deflecting any attacks the best they can.
@Rekai Leon Carn will also provide support in case Faron...

A shiver shot up Carn's spine after the dragon's hateful gaze locked onto Carn. As soon as gutteral rumbles reverberated deep from the creatures throat, horror fell upon Carn's usually stoic face. "Maggie, shield!" was all Carn could manage before the dragon...
That's all the info I need :^)
Now that my understanding of force magic is closer to Carn's understanding, the use for the force magic would be for a close combat emergency (as desperate as it could be). Definitely creating a ranged backblast (or some kind of "whoosh" against the fire) would be...
Oh dear, sh**'s really going down now xD
I reckon Carn won't be blocking that fire blast with his shield anytime soon, at least, not on his own. Will have to rely on Maggie for the brunt of it. @Kaerri
Also, @Rekai Leon we might be needing another fire golem from Faron for good measure ;)
@Wolf...
Hmm... the pacing has gotten a bit off I admit 3_3
If @Kaerri wants to move on right now, I'm fine with that, but I'm also fine with stalling for a bit longer since the end of the quarter is coming in soon for me. Though, if we do stall, the latest I'll wait is mid-December.

As the group booked it, Carn was afforded a few precious glimpses of everyone’s positioning. With the two other groups spaced far apart, there was an opportunity to hit the flanks of the dragon. When Carn ran to a safe distance, he whirled around to face the...
@Kaerri Hmm... I'd say killing it would be the ideal here with all the reasons listed. Though, driving it off, or better yet, maiming the wings and yeeting ourselves outta there is the safest option. Running away will still be difficult considering the position of Dina, Violet, and Ingvar...
@Wolf Rawrrr Welp, all our characters are having a bad time right now x3
Btw, I'll start using the W.A.R.S. from here on out. Would you like me to keep track of Carn's vigor?
@Kaerri @Rekai Leon Now that we're in a fight, we have the luxury off OOC to setup some "coincidental" coordination for...
Thank you @Wolf Rawrrr! This definitely helps me to strategize better on what Carn should do next. I was actually expecting the courtyard to be a bit smaller actually 😅
This place is huuuuuuge

As the group ran, Carn observed Aron’s gait, and though Aron obviously just awoke from being knocked out, Carn could tell Aron was in an acceptable condition to fight. Now confident, Carn took the front of the group before matching everyone’s pace. The run...
